Amnity didn't even look up from the bible, she read an entire page before replying. "Nope. Why do you ask? We went over this before Twi." her voice also getting serious.

Twi chuckled,
"No Am, I'm not asking you out or anything. That was when we were 10 and I had a crush on you. Looking back now I am confused to why I could have liked a cynical, religious, over bearing, rude, and sometimes and sometimes murderous woman. Well, thats how you turned out anyway." he said, taking out his own book and began reading it. "No offence but you aren't my type, you hate the world too much."

Amnity laughed, "When we were kids I would always bully you. I apologize for that. But on the other hand if it weren't for my bullying you wouldn't be who you are today. You would still be in school reading all the books in the library you nerd." she joked.

Twi smiled and took out a book he was reading before.
"And I thank you for constantly berating me, doubting my abilities, and the overall devastation of my self esteem." he thanked casually.

Twi rolled his eyes and flipped the page.
"I'm not wrong all the time Amnity, who was the one that knew that..." he decided not to bring it up, he didn't want Amnity pointing a gun at his head...Again. "Never mind, you're right."

"I was just wondering how you comb your hair so the horns DON'T show..." he said, his voice sounded almost honestly curious, probably because it partially was.

Tokeru arrived in the room, peeved at the fact that someone decided to take command over him, but relieved as well. He was not a hunter, he was a shadowstalker, and it was his job to hunt or assimilate all of the other races.
He took a chair and sat down, waiting for others to arrive.

Anna walked into the General Areas once more, taking her seat. Personal business had been taking up a lot of her time, but she was now ready to get down to business. However, she had to admit that she was not prepared for a visit from the Vatican. She had lived in the Boston Hunters for years and never heard a peep. Whatever was going on around here was definitely a big deal if they were getting involved.
