Wendy Wicked seriouslybored Wendy Wicked seriouslybored Wendy Wicked Unicornfairymonkey HI! i play trumpet and it's fun, it's not easy! i hate it when peoples think that trumpet is "ssssssooooooooo easy" cause it "only has 3 keys"! well shut ur traps if u think that! if u do u must think it's easy 2, um i dont know play soccer "cause your only kicking the ball around"! A trumpet might only hv 3 keys but u still hv 2 read the notes, remember the fingerings, blow air, get the right pitch, ect. trumpet is actually pretty easy until you get into the higher register my boyfriend can play our fight song; and hes never touched a brass instrument and please use proper spelling/grammar I got a headache reading that awee he could play 1st trumpet for the fight song before me...mann makes me feel bad >< I said he could play it; never said anything about well lol @ Celia ah well makes me feel good then that i can play it good Yeahh buddyyy!!! You should get a good chair this year =] w00

Ecchi Kuroi Neko Dude! Hey, Oggy, what if we come up with nick names for the trumpets? xp
(god so much repression, here) ...just an example, but at my HS, they were all known as cheezedoggs, w/ one 'cheezehead' *angelic chorus*.
of course, they all had diff. numbers loosely based on 69, save a couple... sweatdrop *shrugs* just a thought.
Oh! And I only have one trumpet. My dad bought one thru the school. The usual school issue, brass bach *shrugs* I should prolly go oil it. at my hs the trumpets were known as the diva's because it was all girls, then a guy came in late for marching so now we're considered the loudest, other sections want to be us section.

At my HS we are called the train or 16 wheeler cause we are so loud.
there is 14 of us
and im the only girl. *sigh*
it gets scary in the band room when there is 13 guys filled with testosterone(or howevery u spell it) sitting around you and playing in your ear on purpose!

Hey, I'm a female trumpet player, a freshman, and I need some help. How the hell do you double/triple tounge? My section leader isn't very good at explaining this kinda thing. "You just kinda do it." Is what he told me. The other section members just tell me to ask the section leader or give me blank-confused looks. I don't want to bother the BD because he has so much on his mind, that he doesn't need to be asked questions that the section leader should be answering.
