much nicer day today. mom was able to shower and wash her own hair and i've gotten a few hours this evening to play outter wilds with the bf so yay!

busy day. mom logged around 3k steps! altho by evening she was getting kinda down on herself about her progress and worrying she wasnt doing enough. anyway she's doing great! now she's frustrated she aint doing more lol.. of course..

Ayooo back from the hospital! The operation went really well, no big explosions and the guy said he got all of it and took out a lil of surrounding tissue, that way it will never happen again My only complaint is when the porter came to get me at 10am there was an emergency that jammed everything up (meanwhile I'm already in a backless gown with marker pen on my neck). Had to go 3 extra hours on an empty stomach, I get why I had to be cliffed for a bit so I read the entirety of Sunrise on the Reaping, really good book if you like the hunger games deffo recomment. I'm a little sore now all the stuff they used has totally worn off but nothing I can't handle. Now I just gotta hope it heals all good, sleep gonna be about the same but when I am healed imma have the best sleep ever. So far so good, keeping it clean but I got stitches so I can't wash my hair for much longer than I'd like, gotta stock up on dry shampoo lol Awww Rydia my mamgu was 100% the same way, couldn't see it as the great progress that it was, just a lot of frustration because she couldn't magically cook meals and deliver them to several different friends houses in the evening anymore xp Glad things are easing up for you and you can chill out more too! heart Dropped some codeine so I can feel like I'm sitting on a cloud and ignore any pain, back at work tomorrow so that'll be a nice distraction til I'm all healed up Ty for the wellwishes Rydia, hope the day's been a blast!

yay for a successful surgery!!! surprised and holy crap you go back to work tomorrow??? dayum dont u need a day off!
im hustling trying to keep up with mom. she just went out to start the other lap i been trying to get her up for so this gonna have ta be short lol.. you get better and dont overdo it at work! i'm so glad it went ok!
i got the deep freezer fully cleaned and defrosted and got rid of stuff from last few years that we aint gonna eat that just went bad.
fried buncha squash chips mom been asking bout. we all doing ok here! gonna get her a walk get me a shower. play some wow. had couple wow nites lately so things going ok!
happy day w/e it is.. is it tuesday? ya tuesday! baiii! heart

up n at em after waking up to help mom then taking an hour nap this morning. got a couple laps out of her so far and i set up a couple rest spots with chairs along road cuz i mean its a long a** road we walk. gonna get couple more laps b4 i go shower and chill on some wow.. hopefully dare i say.. b4 it gets dark out!!! surprised
bro managed to get day off friday to go up with us to the city to get all her scans and check up with dr who did her surgery. super curious to see how it all reads up there and what she gets to stop doing or start doing next.
beautiful fall weather but a haze of smoke from canada wildfires.. altho my app tryna say the breathings good but the numbers are still meh.. thanks weather channel

I probably did need a day off, the surgeons and nurses reacted the same. If I did do that I'd be at home all day just aware of the pain, taking some codeine and going to work just seemed better lol. Wasn't in any huge pain, glad I did it tbh, walked in in the morning and the girls had left some treats for me which was so cute of em. I'm doing good tbh the only thing I hate is because of the stitches I can't wash my hair for like the next 5 days, loaded up on dry shampoo but I dread to see the state of it in a few days time. I even tried to strongarm an advisor at my local pharm into agreeing I could if I put a waterproof dressing over it. They disagreed and said it has to stay 100% dry. So I said FINNNNEEE Sending more healing vibes to your mom, glad the staminia keeps building up, soon she'll be doing laps of the state xp Wishing for fall weather here too, I am so over summer it's not even funny. We had a goddamn amber alert storm for 2 days then it went back to being clammy and flat crying Bring me a breeze! Hope the days fab! heart

We're going back into the 80s after today gonk but maybe our cold air will swing by over the pond to ya'll before it heads out into the not fall prank it was. and it was quite awesome this past week. at least it'll still be 60s at nite though and if it doesn't come with that awful humidity it wont be as bad.
glad ya getting better and those nurses sound super nice! im trying to keep my chin up and keep mom healthy and going but the news has me trying to section off part of my brain and shove it in a hole so i dont run screaming into the woods..i'll have to get my vaccines and bro's asap this month especially since mom wont be able to for months after her heart surgery... before the damn things are gone and we revert to having to shake a dead chicken over ppl to ward off the sick miasma... i hate to wish my life away but im so rdy to be on the other side of idiocracy.
enjoy ya thursday! find the sunny spots! but wear sunscreen or a hoodie!

Yeah I am so over the news I try to avoid it as much as I can, the world is still a garden for me to enjoy, even if there are more thorns. We have the same thing in the UK, a distinct rise in radical idiocy that has already lead to like 3 major incidents in the last few weeks. It's so taxing to have to live around. I'm becoming more and more of a hermit by the day but tbh I don't mind it, I keep investing in gold because if the world gonna go to s**t, I can at least make a lil money. Healing is going good still! I was a lil naughty and washed my hair with stitches in. I spent an hour this morning just carefully slowly pouring water from a jug through my hair while it was upside down, lathering then doing the same process to rinse. It was a pain in the a** but the stitches were still bone dry when I was done! Glad I managed to pull it off, I couldn't go to next week just loaded up with hair powder, I rationalised it that all that grime would be worse than a possible drop of water xp Cooler today! Time to wash my jackets all fresh nd ready for faaaalllll! Have a great one!

ooo you be careful ya dare devil lol. every time mom raises her elbows over her shoulders i'm tapping her like woaaaah but she doesn't listen much to me lol. and so far she seems to be doing ok..
dr told us to come back for check up august 8th. luckily a nurse called as we were leaving to answer a question i had left on their voicemail and let us know we didnt have an appt today they'd scheduled it sept 11th.. which she also said was too far out and scheduling must've gotten mixed up. so we see the dr monday now.
we went and picked up a couple cases of chicken breasts for freezer and farmers market. came home and shucked 2 dozen corn, boiled it, and cut it off to freeze. and strung some pole beans and boiled em. both turned out nice!
not a bad day anyway. mom coughs so much but otherwise is improving. they say the coughing is just part of it.
dont blame ya on the gold.. me.. i guess when the world tilts i'll just start eating all these dang critters that keep getting into our damn garden every year lol... right.. lol.. they'd all outrun me anyway dramallama rofl

ikik I won't do it again til the stitches are out, I just needed a ✨refresh✨. Sounds like a nice nd productive day, glad yah got that confusion resolved, now all that's left is to keep getting better The coughing is part of it in my experience, gotta clear out the things from the illness and the surgery itself, happened to my mamgu too. Weirdly even though my op was under local I had 2 days of just coughing hard, idk how to explain it other than I just felt better after every time I had it happen. Yeah even if the price of gold stagnates it'll retain value, the UK pm keeps doing rly dumb stuff and I have zero faith in the British pound, so gold it will be for the forseeable. It's all in vaulted storage and I can sell it from my phone so getting the cash out is as easy as doing a bank transfer, fuuuutuuurrrrreee xp Laid the groundwork to catch up on the lookbooks and been getting the pics and backgrounds together, that gaia down time really threw me for a spin. Hoping to get back to the routines cause I've been a lil out of whack the last month. Have a fab and fun one!

ya the gaia outtage threw alot off. we lost some of the normal catwalk theme ppls but then again august is a busy time of the year. everyone getting that last hit of summer in. it'll get cold before long and ppl will turn up i bet!
keep resting up! glad the recoveries going ok! mom got a mile in this morning already. might be the first 2 mile day since pre surgery by evening!

Just havin a real nice day today. made omlettes for everyone this morning. everyones feeling ok. got big dr's appt tomorrow but its a tiny bit later than previously scheduled which is a lil less stress getting up a lil later.
hit 90 max on mop last nite thats been a huge source of stress lmao.. shoudlnt be.. but it has been. cuz i wanted to lvl up with the bf and with me busy and him meh about playing as much as me it took forever. now i can run my dungeons do dailies farm and be the wow psycho im used to being now that the main is maxed and i was able to get flying for all my alts! OH YEEYUH! there's a lil farm you keep on mop now so i'll just add it into my morning rotation checking here, ff14 gardens, and wows. which i like. nice vibe to check in during the morning hours on my lil homes!
have a fabulous sunday ya'll! sending good juju out to everyone! hope ppl are getting cooler weather! we heated back up a bit but its still nice and 60s and nite and the 80s dont come with the humidity now so we are just fine!

Now just gotta wait for this giant cauterised mound to go away xp Aww what a nice start to the day, so good there's a return to the normalcy of the interior life I keep calling by bf a fake FF fan because despite obsessing over the entire series, he has never even played ff14 nor had he heard of it before I mentioned it. ik the series had a weird thing happen with the numbers but idk how he didn't notice a giant hole in his memory where the number 14 should be whee And nope on the weather front, somehow the UK is stumbled into another heatwave where it's over 30 degrees c, going well into the 90s f crying I HATE it, I've spend a whole bunch of the day just horribly fatigued and nappy. Try to do laptop things but then it just heats up to hell and pumps more hot air into the room omg. Sitting with a tablet in the dark is the plan, I am begging for fall, the meteor shower the other night was cool though. Cloud cover came pretty quick but I got to see 2 of them zip by before the clouds span into each other and became a blanket. One more day off tomorrow than I got a week of leave after working this one, glad it's coming. I'm in good spirits and keeping routines as best as I can but I am super tired, probably body scrambling to heal. WW2 documentaries in a dark room with a fridge full of easy things so I don't have to cook from scratch, lesss gooooo. Have a fab one! Sending all the damn fall vibes possible xp

lol i mentioned to my bf just now how you'd mentioned if ya aint played ff14 ya aint a real fan lol. i can give a pass on not playing the mmos and still being a fan.. but not like the goat of fans unless u hit up ff14 at least lol..
that being said.. i've never played ff 11, 12, 13.. i gave up on 15 was it? with the car? dont tell anyone.. im just a sub par avg s**t ff fan lol.. ff2 for us version snes.. i think its 4 in japan is my fave. i guess cuz it was a big one for my child hood... rydia is the s**t!
grats on stitches out! mom got a great report from her dr at hospital thank goodness! xray ekg and blood work great! came off of one of the bp pills! had to go by other house to mow on way home. ran like 16 hours on 5 hours sleep lol..
only a lil appt with local cardiologist just half hour away tomorrow and in the afternoon. am excited to sleep!
enjoy your week off hell ya! sorry bout the shitty heat.. and kudos that u can handle ww2 documentaries lol i dont think i could.

i have to look at the calendar and if i even posted or not today b4 i post cuz the days and weeks are just blurring together busy as i am with momma. got to go see reg cardiologist. adjusted meds to help with the coughing. everything still lookin good! finally back home again. got buncha lil chores to get then maaaybe i can actually do some dailies and dungeons in wow for some normalcy.. normal.. lol.. but i still need just a couple hours of the semblance of normal ya know?
