Haha, good to know.
It was great this year; I had a lot of fun. c: Stayed up crazy late both nights (Friday I was up until 4AM at the MANime panel and Saturday until 3AM at the rave, Mystery Anime Theater 3000, and Panel of Doom). Got a lot of pictures which I posted in the actual cosplay thread, and made a bunch of friends in the Touhou group. I burned up outside for an hour with everyone else during the Touhou photoshoot on Sunday, and I ended up getting recruited to help with the Touhou panel going on two hours after the shoot ended (hosted by Letty, Mokou, Yukari, Shikieiki, and Aya). I could only stay for half of it though, and I had to leave early. Turns out I live really close to the Momiji cosplayer who was there. There wasn't a whole lot of Touhou merch besides very few figmas and nendoroids which were ridiculously priced. There was one booth that had a BUNCH of game soundtracks, CD's, fan games, and doujins. I can't read any of the doujins and already have the fan games and soundtracks there, so I ended up buying three CD's. One was a violin arrange CD by TAMUSIC, the second was a COOL&CREATE album, and the third was a random circle I never heard of. Made a gamble, and I have yet to open it.
Also, Yukari can't play Highly Responsive to Prayers to save her life.

Also, you have no idea how much I envy you. Touhou is practically unknown here, even among the most knowledgeable anime/manga fans — I guess that at least I'll get to be one of the "pioneers" if it ever gets known in the otaku communities of this corner of the world.

Well, same here in my town
I had to drag my friend into playing touhou, just because of the site vocaloidotaku.net provided me with much needed information on how this whole thing started. Hell in fact the reason on how i know touhou was because of IOSYS: Overdrive, and Border of Death. Nothing more than that I guess...
Oh, and Conasuguri too.

I've corrupted Kuro Cutie... who posts here every once in a blue moon... and my little sister. . . . Who plays it more often than I do, and better, apparently. I'm jealous of her. Literally.
I live close to Kuro, and that's about it. Our convention had a good Touhou turnout, but that was months ago. Once college starts I'll start infecting.

Totally random post which is just to show i am still in the guild and still read things. Currently i am tied up with my crap but still find time to play some of the Touhou games, PS3 downloads and been playing Recettear on Steam Lately. It's fun and hard at the same time. I have also tried Need for Speed World (MMO Need for speed) and thinking of trying Lord of the rings online cause it's now free to play. Oh crap. Nothing about touhou here ><....Umm.... ... ... ... Parsee Kitty!!! ((i have checked the artists Pivix page and...my god there are like 30 of them...Still cute.))
