Upon reaching the top of Mount Chimney, Keegan folded up his bike, looking around. "I'm really going to miss this place," he said ruefully. "But my parents won't be happy unless we bring them home a full collection of Hoenn's Gym badges."
Vul! Pix! agreed his Vulpix. "I guess we're going to Rustboro City then," he said. "Although it will be tough, I've heard the leader there only uses Rock types.
For a second, Vulpix looked really scared, but he shook it off, looking ready for anything.
"That's the spirit!" Keegan laughed, and the two of them walked over to the shrine atop the volcano to pray.

"He'll be fine." She flashed a small smile. "He seems really nice. Are you two good friends?" She asked, while watching the three Pokemon play. "I know Quick attack too!" He said as he charged out from under the bench, trying to show off his moves.
Aurora just chuckled as she taged him. "Gotcha." She said, sitting right next to the bench. "You show off to much." She said with a smirk. She turned to face the Chinchou. "Do you wanna play?"
The Pikachu ran off after Kitsune, ignoring Aurora's comments. Surprisingly, he got right behind her, but steamed because he couldn't reach. "I'll.. get.. you..!" He said, straining to keep his pace.

Three shook his head as his Raticate was drained into submission. "Too easy, huh?" he laughed. His next Pokemon was a Zubat, not nearly as threatening as a Golbat, but still dangerous for the Breloom before them.
"Air Cutter!" Two and Three shouted at the same time, and the two bats flew into action, slicing the air with their wings and sending the attacks both at Portabello.

"Be careful Mike!" Kasiya cried, the battle sounding as if it were growing more intense. She knew he wouldn't be able to hear her as she kept struggling. "Where did Team Rocket learn to tie people up?" she wailed. Seto sat perfectly still, listening to the battle raging outside the door. He seemed to be wating for something, but it was unclear as to what.

"We just met yesterday, but it's like I've known him forever, it's weird."
No thank you. Lightbulb said. I'm not fast enough anyway.
Kitsune dashed forward, whiping it's tails and laughing.

Mike winced in shock as the flying attacks tore through his Breloom, it fainting almost instantly. "Portabello! You bastards!" He recalled his Pokemon, quickly taking another out, releasing Proton.
"Maagne!" Proton cried in it's robotic voice. "They beat up Portabello, are you going to let them get away with that? Thunderbolt!"

She smiled and looked at Sasha. "Oh, yeah, I forgot to actually introduce myself. My name's Ryka." She said with a smile, and went back to watching the Pokemon, laughing a little bit at Thunder. He looked over his shoulder. "I can.. hear you, you.. know!" He tried to yell at Ryka. "Okay.. I'm.. gonna get.. you.." He was panting. He tripped over his own feet, but managed to touch the tip of Kitsune's tail. "Gotcha.." He smirked, and put his head down in exaustion.

Zubat and Golbat, being in close proximity to one another, both took damage from the Thunderbolt. Zubat fainted instantly, its trainer recalling it before it could hit the ground, but Golbat remained, looking shaken but ready to continue. It followed up with a Confuse Ray, which distorted the air around the Magneton, confusing it. Proton seemed to lose its focus for a second, then it released another powerful blast of electricity that KO'd the Golbat. Recalling it, Two grinned.
"I see we've underestimated you, boy," he laughed. "You're going to learn the hard way not to meddle with Team Rocket!" The Pokemon he sent out next was most likely very familiar to Mike. It was a Camerupt, smoke flaring from its nose. Three sent out a Drowzee.

"Ack! Proton! Snap out of it!" Mike called out as his Magneton hovered around in a daze. "Use Supersonic on that Camerupt!"
"Maagne!" Proton cried, lunging at the Camerupt. Suddenly, he stopped mid flight and flew backwards into a wall, his sense of direction disrupted.
"Return, You did great." Mike realized that the two of them weren't going to play fair. "Titanium! Shiver!" He cried as the two Pokemon were released.

His massive size limiting his movement, Titanium managed to take a swipe at the Drowzee with his tail in what could pass for a Tackle. Not wasting any time, the Camerupt was ordered to perform a Flamethrower. A fearsome jet of flames streaked out, hitting the Steelix hard.
"Right on the sweet spot," the Rocket cheered as the Steelix slid to the floor, his size getting him stuck. The Camerupt had barely managed to finish its attack when it was hit with a wave of water that seemingly came from nowhere. Drowzee was hit too, but sustained next to no damage thanks to its great special defence capabilities. Shiver had unleashed a mighty Surf attack, one-hit KO'ing the dual Fire/Ground type. Camerupt was recalled, and a Ludicolo appeared in his place.
"Give up, kid," the Rockets sneered. "This doesn't have to end as badly as it could."

Mike recalled Titanium, and let out a sigh. "Yeah, it will be pretty ugly when I beat you, go Nitro!"
The Charmeleon let out a stream of fire and dashed forward. He stood beside Shiver, happily in the fray with him.
Let's do this buddy! Shiver smirked.
"Nitro! Flamethrower! Shiver, Ice Beam!" Mike shouted.
Promptly obeying their orders, the Pokemon each fired their respective attacks, the fire at the Drowzee, the Ice Beam at the Ludicolo.

"What's going on out there?" Kasiya cried, now starting to feel scared. She knew Mike was tough in a battle, but she knew Team Rocket was prone to not playing fair. She looked over at Seto, who now had his eyes closed. The Meowth remained completely motionless, not even appearing to be breathing. Kasiya stopped trying to pay attention to the battle, and watched the Meowth, wondering how he could be so calm and serene at a time like this. Just then, there seemed to be a lull in the action outside, and Seto's big eyes opened suddenly. His fur began to glow, and shine with a white brilliance.

The two attacks hit their desired opponents, leaving not much damage as Mike would have hoped. Almost instantly, the Ludicolo countered with Giga Drain as Drowzee uleashed a Psychic attack, both directed at the Cloyster. Shiver was hit hard, his health sapped by Ludicolo who healed some damage, and the attack from Drowzee sent him flying back, landing with a thud in front of Mike. It was now down to Nitro.

"You dirty rotten bunch of Grimers!" Mike snarled as he watched his Pokemon fall. "No matter Nitro, youve taken on worse than this! I'm counting on you, GO!"
I won't let you down Mike! Nitro dashed ahead, his claws and teeth bared. "CHAR!" The Drowzee was taken by surprise at the speedy Pokemon and was swiped across the face by Nitro's claws and then torched by a vicious Flamethrower attack.
"Go Nitro!"

"Dirty?" snarled Two. "We're just getting started!"
"You're gonna eat those words," Three laughed, and pointed at Mike. "Drowzee! Show that kid that we mean business! Headbutt!"
The usually speedy Nitro was unprepared for this turn of events as the Drowzee turned past him and charged at Mike. The psychic Pokemon was inches from the boy when he was hit hard by something practically invisible. It knocked the Drowzee back about ten feet, where it fell, completely unconscious. It was then a magnificent Persian materialezed in front of Mike, and looked up at him.
"Perrrsian," it said, before shooting a nasty gaze towards the Rockets and their Ludicolo.
"I warned you not to touch him," came a voice from behind Mike. And there, leaning against the doorframe for support, was Kasiya, looking completely wiped, but very angry.

"Kasiya!" Mike cried out. "You're safe!" He ran over to her and gave her a big hug. "Oh I'm so glad!" Tears crept up on him as he buried his face in her shoulder.
Nitro took a split second from the battle and noticed Seto's new form. Impressive!
