For capital of culture. Its the largest single mobile piece of street theatre, either in europe or the world, I can't remember.
The story behind it is
'While digging up the docks for the latest work on the city the buiders uncovered this 50ft spider. Tomorrow morning 'german scientists' will do tests on it involving light and sound 'waking up' the spider. It should then go for a swim followed by a wander around the city interacting with its enviroment..'
