Wolffy000 Speaking of games, I can't stop playing Catan and Carcassonne I love Carcassonne. =) One of my friends always manages to pull off building a "giant city of DOOM!" as he calls it, even when the rest of us gang up on him to stop him.

People tend to not quite notice it until way later in the game. And by that time you have the few roads circling way out of the way.

Jahoclave reddy2bplayd Working for Gaia must be pretty dissatisfying. Spending all your time trying to make things work for a site full of users who not only don't appreciate anything you do, but cut down the job you do no matter how well you've done something.
If you don't release a feature fast enough, you're breaking promises. That feature becomes a "myth". When you give valid reasons for why that feature is taking so long (problems with coding, working on more important features like holiday events) people get unreasonable and tell you to step it up or put it as a higher priority. Because apparently fixing gift credits is more important than the Halloween event. rolleyes
I mean...yeah, the Gaia staff isn't perfect. They make HUGE mistakes, and I'll be the first to admit that. But they provide this service and they work day and night to give it to users for free, and in return all they get is a bunch of complaints and negativity and rarely ever a thank you. Which of course, bringing that up just incites users to say things like "But I donate x amount of dollars every month!" or "Free my a**! Gaia only cares about the money". Well, I just hate bad coding practices. So when they release bad code they remind me of Microsoft, and reminding me of Microsoft is a bad thing. Besides, I'm a natural cynic and a professional complainer. It's what I do. But a lot of people just don't put the effort into proper complaining. It makes me sad to see my art form so degraded by amateurs. That and I really, really, really wish I had somebody to cuddle with. Some complaints have a leg to stand on. Complaints about glitches and bad coding are completely valid and if someone's complaining because a feature isn't working properly because one of the developers ******** up a line of code (or just didn't know what they were doing), that doesn't give me a headache or make me want to punch infants.
But people who are like "YOU PROMISED THAT GIFT CREDITS WOULD BE WORKING BACK IN BLAHBLAHBLAH" or "I thought we were promised quests for backwings!" like there aren't a zillion other more important features to fix or implement, or like making a quest that's difficult enough to reward an item as in demand as actual wings is that easy.
It wouldn't even bother me so much that people complain about these things, if they didn't throw words like "promise" around. Just because a developer mentions that they PLAN on having a feature ready by a certain time doesn't mean they're GUARANTEEING that feature to be ready by then.

Wolffy000 Probably Metroid, as it's the only other one I can think of that isn't "lol, minigames" Don't forget RE4 and that mind-bending Paper Mario game. "Hey, it looks like old-school Mario. WHA?!? SIDEWAYS?!? 3D?!? HEAD KERSPLODE NAU!!"
I have a Brewfest ram. I am made of win.

What the ********?! It seems later then it is. It's not even 11pm pst, I thought it was 1am!! burning_eyes *timewarp*
I hope I get this job. True, it's further then I'd like to work, but I think it's worth it, for what it pays.
Now, I just need to get my license and I think I'll be set.
*crosses fingers and prays*

reddy2bplayd Kilana Yay for actually finally having a game for Wii that's not just a buncha mini games. Oooh. What game? P:
Speaking of the Wii. I should finish Twilight Princess. ;w;That would be the game I got. xp We just got a Wii a couple weeks ago, and so far only got mini games (WiiPlay/Sports, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, and well, the boy got Farcry but that's not my cup of tea), but yeah I caved and got Twilight Princess today. I like it so far, though I'm not far along~ I did look at Metroid and Paper Mario, however, I haven't really played any of the Metroid games, and yeah, Paper Mario looks cute and all but something told me to go with Zelda. I'll probably be picking up Paper Mario sometime soonish -- or no, I guess Mario Galaxy and Brawl and Guitar Hero III are my next games. After THAT, then probably Paper Mario. xd Unrelatedly, yay for pizza and movies and Heroes and cuddling.

I'm glad Midna is there, simply because she's more interesting than Navi or any other partner Link has had.

I ******** love reorganizing my files. "What the ******** is this? What the hell, I downloaded this already? I've been looking for this for days!" or "Wow, what the ******** is this? Wow, this is awesome!" Then I spend an hour screwing around with whatever the hell it was I found.
Also, holy s**t, Sonic confirmed for Brawl! Finally.

And Gamestop, you better hire me. There's no way I can afford the newer systems if you don't. D=
