Meh. The Federation ships don't really impress me, as far as cosmetics go.
Except for the Defiant. That ship had class...
I'll take a Bird of Prey of equivalent power any day, though.

I would second that notion of the Defiant. Though that's for a different series in itself.
Sorry to change a little on the subject, and I know a few of you don't like the clone wars series...
But did anyone see the bomber that they introduced in the last episode?
Is that what the Y-wing Initially looked like?

Not what it looked like; that is the Y-wing. It's like paneling on a car. later models just dropped the paneling for maitenence reasons.

I'll take a Bird of Prey of equivalent power any day, though. Yeah, but the Defiant-Class is too short-range for me. And the interiors of ships in other empires (Romulans and Klingons, for example) aren't my cup of tea.

I'm not sure how the Defiant can be classified as "short-range", though I'll admit it does have a rather narrow mission portfolio. While capital ships like the Enterprises that headline much of the franchise can be used for a variety of purposes, the Defiant-class is built mostly for one.
As for interior decorating, that can be retrofitted to fit the whims of the owner without any affect on the ship's performance.

It's mostly for starbase and planetary defense. It's one of the few official, unofficial warships in Starfleet. And, interior decorating on a ship that technically isn't your is somewhat frowned upon. Of course, if I were independent in some way, I would totally jack a Bird-of-Prey on account that: It looks cool Not too large Doesn't need a large crew Can land in atmospheric environments If I had one, I'd give it a cushier interior and change the green hull to gray along with some form of decal.

So interesting note: The Y-wings used against the Malevolence were "Requesitioned" from their production facility by Anakin and Shadow Squadron after Anakin tired of buerecratic Red Tape.
Well, at least he's not so whiny anymore.

I dunno, but I'm guessing his testicular growth spurt began A. when he became a Knight or B. after his honeymoon

Thats my best guess.
Remember that it was the animated clone wars that first showed us an awesome, a** kicking anakin. (Unless he was also a bad a** in the comic) The CGI series seems to try an continue this trend with Anakin shown to be a rather straight forward, agressive fellow but with good intentions. If he's supposed to be brooding and whatnot I sure dont see it, but you can tell he struggles with hard choices. If a cartoon Anakin, either drawn or CGI can make the character seem cool even despite AotC and RotS, then this is more proof that Hayden is a shitty actor.

But teleportation is my favorite superpower, so I may be a little biased.
