"There is such a book?" Micoi sounded more surprised tahn anything else. "It's a wonder they had time to write it..." she said, more toherself than anyone else. It seemed like a quite interesting read and at one point, sooner or later, she would probably ask Celia what it had been about completely... "That book... it is about Lord Nadil too, isn't it?" Micoi asked, once again using the title on the long dead youkai.

"Uffff...." Jett flopped, most un-Lord-like, into his plush armchair. "I'm tired, Illusia. How can she not understand?! Ugh. I'm not even hungry anymore. I feel sick." He did look a bit wan.

She had not quite gotten used to the taboo of Nadil's name, and honestly in fact had occasionally needed to ask who he was. It seemed silly that she wouldn't know about one of the most daunting figures in all history...but then again, she knew very little about history...her own, the continents....basically any history. "That's.....The Demon Lord, right? Yes, he's in there quite a lot,"She replied, nodding, and hoping that it didn't sound silly that she'd asked if she was right in thinking Nadil was who she assumed.

Illusia gave his Lord a sympathetic but weak smile. "I think..." he said as he walked over to another armchair in the room and sat down, "that she's still quite young. Also, she may have the basic facts... but she might not know all. If we'd had the time to explain her future role to her she migth have understood. Even I must say this was very quick, even for the guests to be informed and get ready. Not even a day had passed, Jett," the Yellow Officer said, but then got a bit more serious. "However, her outburst was a bit loud and quite too much."

"I don't even know how to fix this fiasco. I don't really want to go back out there, feeling like an idiot. They're all going to think her unruly. Some my sympathsize, but her first impression has not been a good one." Jett stood back up, rang for a servant and recomposed himself into his Royal 'mask' by the time a servant entered. "Please bring some dinner for myself and Illusia." A few moments later, food was brought for both of them, but Jett did not touch his meal. Instead he stood up and paced back and forth. He appeared torn between emotions.

"That's right, Kanak told me a bit about him and the war he was fighting against the Drgaon Tribe," Micoi confirmed, trying to think of details. It was then she felt neith presence behind her... and decided to break the subject because she was getting odd vibes, or was it just her? "You'll have to tell me more about what you read later when you've read more, Celia." Micoi smiled at the somewhat shorter female.

Waiting until the servant had come anc gone again, now having a hot meal before him, Illusia spoke up again. It was very visible that Jett was out of ideas. "Well... any further appearances until we've gotten some kind of connection with the young Lady and she have understood what her position means is completely out of question," he said, even though both of them already knew that.
"The best might just be to slowly, but as quickly as possible, make her understand her future as your queen and the court. I'm not sure how but I think that if we have a few people focusing on getting close to her and getting across the information we might be able to mend it. You know that undependant on this incident the kingdom will want to see the bloodline secured," Illusia warned, knowing it would have to come to this sooner or later, so he'd rather face the lion while it was unprepared.
"I'm not sure but the faster you two marry... the sooner this might be forgotten. As long as the nobles and your people thinks it's all under control, and we have something to cover it with, we might get all the time we need to prepare her for the rest of her life."

"Of course. If you want to join me later, Its in the fartherst back part of the library. I could fill you in on what I know, If you like,"She said, bowing slightly out of habbit, and formality, before turning to go. She waved over her shoulder, before hurrying as fast as her leg would allow towards the library.
Kahaku hummed a kind of consistant low note from somewhere around his chest. He was rather pleased to be out for once.

((XD I really need to pick up a copy of Eldest. I have an autographed copy of Eragon. 8D ))
"Alright. I'll just announce that she is not well at the moment, and will not be joining us for the rest of the party. Which is just...I don't know...odd, since the party is for her..." Jett paused, pushing a black strand that had freed itself from the long black tail, out of his face, "The wedding....it will have to be very soon, if we want to whitewash this. It will have to take place within six months." Jett finished with finality, knowing full well Micoi would not be happy about this. Well, no one said they had to consumate their marriage then. They only had to make it appear to have been consumated.

The Yellow Officer nodded thoughtfully at this. Six months was a fair time and perhaps even less than that. Though preparations would probably begin tomorrow morning already, what with all the planning that had to be done. But as he saw it, it was the only way. The people would be restless knowing they had their Queen in place but that she remained unmarried. This would be quite a run for the money, so to speak.
"You could just say that she's not accostumed to our food and misses her home, that would be better. If you say sick, there are people that could interprent that any way they want," Illusia adviced, as was his job. "I guess we will be quite busy over the next few months then, eh? Though not as busy as Neith and her girls were today," Illusia said with a loopsided grin and a sweatdrop, feeling sorry for the maids as they had nearly gotten themselves killed to get everything ready for tonight. And with the result of it being this to boot.
"Will you be discussing a certain month with Neith?"

((....*hates you, but not* T.T I want an autographed copy....T.T And if you haven't read Eldest yet, GO! soooo good.......))
As soon as Celia got to the library, she headed straight for the section where the journal was kept. She wanted to see the original again. She had gotten a copy of it, as she had been promised, earlier that day.....but it wasn't really the same. She found the book quickly, and sat down on the floor in just about the same spot as last time, and began flipping through the pages. However, unlike last time, she now had Kahaku with her, pointing things out from his position sitting in her lap. Even if she knew nothing about the dragons history, that was okay: He knew eneough for both of them. Apparently it was unusual, but she could hear him.
'Yes, that's my old master, Rune,'He pointed out, as one of Cernozura's illustrations came up. It showed Rath, Thatz, and Rune to the left. ((as seen in the first book....Just because!))
"He was a fairy? Huh...."She seemed suprised. She'd never heard of a Fairy becoming a member of the Dragon tribe before......Of course, all things considered that wasn't saying much....
'How did you know?'Kahaku asked, looking up from the book into her face.
"The shape of his ears is slightly different....I guess...I just assumed,"She said with a shrug."I think I've read this page already...."she thought, feeling as though she recognized Rune from somewhere.

((Nadil: Aiketh was standing by a seperate door, so she wasn't in their way when they left. 3nodding
And Riku would like to say that not all the Duel Dragons look alike, thankyouverymuch! >_<))
The blush rose once more to Ana's cheeks as 'Liozu' knelt beside her.
"O-oh... Oh!" She raised her hands before her face, eyes widening in dismay. "Oh, no... I didn't realize..." Ana tried to laugh, finding herself suddenly on the very brink of tears. "I'm so sorry..."
Well. This was awkward. Baran slunk slightly down into his seat. He now officially knew no one at the fancy party. Except for maybe Kushina. And not even really her.
Sitting up straighter, he decided to pretend as though he belonged here and to just concentrate on at least getting some decent food into his system. All the same, he was very relieved when Aiketh walked past his seat on her way back to the head of the table.
"Um, excuse me, Officer." He had never been quite sure how to address her. He instinctively wanted to call her 'sir', but felt that might be insulting... "Excuse me. Am I supposed to stay here? Or may I leave?"
Oh, yes. Aiketh sighed to herself. As if things didn't need to get more complicated. It would look bad if the high table was missing so many people and she wanted him to stay to prevent it from looking quite so empty. On the other hand, however, she herself had just gotten up and vanished for several minutes. That must have looked even worse. Which would be noticed more, the absence of the Black Dragon Officer or a Fighter?
She sighed audiably this time, rubbing momentarily at her temples. "Yes. Yes, you may be excused. Do me a favor: tell the men stationed outside that I saw them on my way back and they are not to be drinking while on duty. I will be expecting them after hours tomorrow night for late patrol. You may go."
She took her seat tiredly as Baran quickly made his escape. "What a night."
"She likes you," Nieth commented wryly, crossing her arms over her chest. "It usually takes Celia several weeks to a month before she will so much as say hello to a new person."

((XD Micoi: But I've only seen Hayate and Kahaku and they look very alike...))
Abruptly ending her goodbye wave to the disappearing Celia, Micoi turned around, sweatdropping. "R-really?" she asked a bit nerviously. "Well, I did meet her in Arinas since she was in the small party that came there to get me..." She rubbed the back of her head, feeling as if Neith was a bit irritated with her.

"It's a good thing," Nieth laughed in the dim lighting, "she's usually so nervous around people. You really have a way with getting others' guards down."

((XD;; No idea. Sujika wasn't sure if we ever had a Kahaku... Maybe that was Manda? >.> Hmn... XDD Well, as long as you don't look like Thatz, and even then... well, you can be mistaken for a girlie, man. ;p XD;; Haha! Hayate: Woya, babe! *grins and clings to Riku's back, making peace sign*))
"You think so?" The girl seemed to ease up a little when the older dragon didn't appear angry. Micoi smiled lightly as Neith ushred her inside again, her dress was after all, still, partly undone from earlier. "... Neith," the young dragon said the Head Maid's name a bit unsure. "What is... going to happen now?" And by that she didn't mean at that very moment but further into the future, the following days and so on.
