Kidd turned to Darius at his answer with wide happy eyes and jumped in the air was a shout! She turned a ripped the poster off the street lamp. "I'm going to bring this back to the school so more kids can see it! Oh my goodness I can't wait!. We should go tonight though. Circus are always better at night." she nodded letting go or Darius to fold up the paper and slip it into her pocket. She took his arm again beaming up at him. "And as for air hocky., I'll so kick you butt mister!" she smiled again an started walking down the street again. Then she blushed she gaze shifting between the ground and Darius. "Darry, do..do you mind that I call you Darry? Or would you rather Darius?"

"Hmm," mused Victoria aloud, as no one else seemed to be pipping in with any notable great ideas for their first day of summer vacation. "There's always the mall," she said dubiously, sputtering the first idea that came to mind. "Yeah, the mall. Rouge, you up for taggin along?" Victoria's dark eyes turned to where Rouge had been moments earlier, only to find that she was missing from the kitchen completely. Odd. Although she had not heard her leave, Victoria was near 100% sure that it had something to do with what happened to Raze. The two had been close it seemed, and to have him gone suddenly was obviously not sitting well with Rouge.
"I'll be back," she said solemnly. Hopping off the counter, she exited the kitchen in search of Rouge. Friend-like instinct picking up immediately, she found herself shuffling down the hall and up the stairs before stopping at the end of the hallway of girl's dorms. Though all the doors were shut, Victoria could hear a distinct sobbing coming from one in particular. Rouge's bedroom, to be exact. She sighed once before walking over to it and giving it a nice, hearty knock. "Hey, Rouge," she said, trying to sound as comforting as possible through the heavy oak door. "This is Victoria. Wanna talk?"

Conner walked down the the street towards the mall, hunching and drawing himself in to avoid the hjustle and bustle of the busy pavement. The walk from the mansion to where he was had taken him a surprisingly small amount of time though he was too wrapped up in his little internal moral argument to notice. All I did was tell her exactly what happened, as best as I could describe it. he tried to tell himself, knowing the little voice inside his head that lashed at him for his mistakes would wholly disagree.
He looked up to see that he was at the west entrance to the mall, he pushed through the door and checked the mall map and tried to find his employers place of business, he knew it was a couriours but he'd forgotten to get the name, having heard of the job opening by word of mouth and gotten the job the same way.Ah. he thought as he found it was right at the back of the mall Bayville Couriours he reminded himself of it's name and location and darted into the throng of people that were headed in the general direction original name. He dodged out of the way of an oncoming shopper and wished he could just use his owers to get him across the mall, he figures professor Xavier would frown on that though. He was just going to have to muscle his way through.

dont worry nicknames are fun" dairus said smiling. he thought it was kinda of a cute nickname. "yea well ill make it harder for you to win"dairus said as the walked to the arcade. he want to get a little more in fo about what animal she would like "so did you have a pet before you got here"

Sarah glanced at her watch and made a face. She didn't think she was that early. Paticularly on a school day. At the thought of school she glanced around and shrugged. Looks like she'd be missing out on this day maybe tomarrow. She glanced back at the door and wrang the doorbell again. A quick glance at the address confirmed she was at Xaviers and not ringing someone elses door bell.

Jillann felt kind of lonely, people were ignoring her and she wasn't liking it at all. She wanted to do something but she rater not do stuff alone. "can i go to the concert with you guy ill be bored as hell if i stay here?" jillann asked.

She laughed at Lizz's comment then glanced over at Jilliann. "Sure, love. I don't see why ya can't come with us. I'm sure Michelle wouldn't mind an extra person at her show. Her band's gotten very popular in Connecticut and she just now got a gig in New York."

"Awesome! We'll go shopping for Lizz then head back here, get dressed for the concert and leave for New York city!" She grinned and stood up then looked down at her own attire. "But I must put on real clothing first. Ok Lizz, get some comfy clothes on and everyone that's going shopping with Lizz, Jill and I meet me at my car in ten minutes." Zion said and rushed upstairs to get dressed.

Rogue heard knocking outside her door, and it snapped her out of her current numb state. She started to ask who was there, but the other person answered her question before she could ask it. She sat up, rubbing the tears from her eyes, and shuffled over to the door.
Rogue pulled the door open and peered out at Victoria. "Hey. Come on in,"she said motioning her inside. "Sorry I just ran off like that. I just sorta snapped, you know. I mean, I didn't even bother to ask the rest of y'all if he was tellin' the truth. I just panicked and bolted." She sighed and hung her head. "But he was telling the truth wasn't he? That's why the room got so quiet when I mentioned Raze's name." She looked up at Victoria and waited for any sign, be it verbal or facial that would give her the answer to her question.

Victoria blinked once as, to her surprise, Rouge opened the door before her second knock and motioned her into the room. Shuffling inward, she gave Rouge a warm, friendly smile in an attempt to raise the girl's currently distraught spirit.
"S'all right," said Victoria, dismissing Rouge's unnecessary apology with a quick hand wave. "We all handle stress differently. I guess," she added. Shifting her weight to the opposite foot, she looked back at Rouge and she continued to rationalize her own actions. Though she tried to hide it, her face visibly cringed as she re-asked the million dollar question. She sighed once before looking Rouge in the eye and shaking her head slowly. Although Victoria was one to believe that anything was possible, she did not see how it could be true this time around. Raze was gone. End of story.

From close up, it looked like someone had simply plowed a path through the snow. Of course, that would be until you noticed the vegetation underneath it had been burned away. And that this trench in the snow seemed to go on for nearly a mile.
Further down this line seemingly carved out of the landscape, the world become shrouded in mist. But, it can't be mist. It's far too warm for that. It's closer to steam than anything else. And then, a form appears, stepping out of the mist. It's clothing is scorched, with barely enough left for modesty's sake. He looks around, confused at his new surroundings. He looks up at the sky, and a few words escape his lips: "Hmph. I wonder how far Bayville is?" he says, smiling.
