(12 - 2 + 12 - 16 = 6/2 = 3 dmg))
The attack would hit ...as the bubble that the pokemon was in would bounce madly around the place. Hitting high, low, and then high again as the Mew would release it up in the air. Twirling once around herself ...she looked downwards at her opponent with her tail whipping quite furiously behind her.
She wasn't about to be so easily taken down ...not one little bit. But, she had exhaust herself as well. She wasn't about to come back down to attack again as she simply rest high and out of reach for the moment. Or at least, what she thought was high and out of reach.
Besides, she felt a bit dizzy from that bounce.

As the Joltik would land, both he and Lindbergh looked bad for the poison, but the Joltik looked far worse for wear! The frost in it's jagged fur, the shivering, its legs close, it looked literally on its last legs...
But Lindbergh would cry out in frustration, seeing the other Spinarak get to his defence again!! [Why aren't you getting out of the way!!!]
[He's about to collapse and if he does, then he just comes back bigger and badder, don't you get that!?]
Burnout's attack indeed coralled the two... but they just went right back when it died down... He looked to Lindbergh.
Why didn't they help? Why didn't they back away with their hated leader so close to being dethroned?
They'd tried over and over again-
And then he stopped, he thought of their original gambit, the distraction of he and Lindbergh together...
The Spinarak they had met understood english, and so did the leader too apparantly, speaking in broken tongue... but they...
They had one chance, the leader was flinched, next turn he wouldn't be able to use volt switch again, he'd be wide open... but they needed room for Jasmine, before the spider was knocked out!
[Schnell! Erhalten sie weg von ihm!] He called out suddenly at the Spinarak with urgency.
[Er ist besiegt zu werden!]
[Aber sie mussen uns einen freien weg zughesten, so zu tun!] He stressed suddenly. [Und seine art stort sie nie wieder!]
He could only hope they would listen, and that his promise would bring fruit as he would bark back to Jasmine.
[Get ready!]
The girl was watching captive, she took the nod, and nodded back, her hands already reaching toward her belt... whatever he had planned... she had no idea, but could only hope...

The Joltik would recover from his flinch then ....as the two looked at each other and then male shuffle closer to the leader. The female would move away as she looks back at Jasmine and then Burnout as she calls out.

She declares desperately as the male's eyes would seem to go red. This Spinarak was risking his family, and he wasn't about to have that as he directed his attack at her. The Joltik was stun, he never once thought that the Spinarak would dare to work with the enemy. He was sure he had them cowed ....but, this female had been the sister of the one he killed, haven't she?
The fact only then came to mind as she turned and did what ...no other Spinarak would have thought.
She sent out a String Shot, and it wasn't at the Joltik ...it was at the male Spinarak whom dared to try and protect the leader. She was going to try and drag him away to give them that chance, but they would only have one ....as the Joltik realized his problem as well.

If all went well, the way was open ...as the Joltik realizing his plight would actually move to attack again. His attack once more would be directed at Burnout as he sent the attack sweeping towards him ...that sphere of electricity growing in his limbs.
This would be their one chance at this, before another Spinarak was called out. But only if Jasmine had been paying good attention to the flow of battle.

The female Spinarak was giving it her all, it was showing very little success, but the obstacle was clear enough, now they just had to overcome it...
As Jasmine took the Great Ball, she clicked the center, the ball's pink highlights switching on as she enlarged it, this was going to be tricky, but considering that her options were either catch it now, or lose everything the little Spinarak had sacrificed to get this... there was just one choice.
Win.
She tossed the ball, straight up, looking at the angles as she brought up her crutch, whirling it around... "Lindbergh, lob it!"
She smashed a spike on the great ball, driving it earthward, as the Gliscor would twist to see, the ball wasn't going anywhere near the target- Oh.
Oh!
[Lob it!] She cackled, as her tail yanked up, and with the ball falling, she built up the tension in her tail, before she hammered upward, looking to spring it back up into the sky, right up above the Joltik and past the Spinarak!
A combo-throw!
Alone, maybe the throw was a hard one, but between the three of them, working together, they could overcome!
[Lightbulb, go for the finish!!!] She cried out, as one minute, the Lampent would be behind her, the next he would be in mid-air, his spindly arms unfolding.
[I for one believe you are both out of your minds!] He declared as he drove himself downward.
[Which is just as well, otherwise this probably wouldn't work!!] He bellowed, catching the ball and spinning up and around, before spinning back downward... he launched the ball on its final journey, aiming to catch the Joltik atop its back!

Her web would fall short as the male's poison sting stood out of her neck. Blood oozing around it as she would slump to the ground unconscious.
It was only sheer luck that the female wasn't killed.
Though he was obviously relieved as he looked back at the girl, and the leader as the pokeball spun in the air. He looked back as the pokeball arc, it was coming at his leader ...but the Joltik had been watching it all.
There was a huge chance of success, but that chance would end in failure as the pokeball was hit by the same pokemon that the Joltik had been aiming for with his Volt Switch. His attack released as it would shoot towards Burnout ...but it would never even get close as it hit against the Greatball in the air instead.
Exploding, the Joltik would vanish from the scene again, but there would be no return this time ...as the poison would took it's final blow against him and the Gliscor feel the same pain.
It was over as the Spinarak would glare at them, and declares loudly as he would look at the little female. Her life spared only for a moment as he turned away.
((Sie haben genug getan, jetzt weggehen))
It had only been his resolved that kept the other Spinarak from being sacrificed due to their attack.

The Pawniard would come out as the Absol would find her faced with one of her own minions. The pokemon not sure what to make of the situation would immediately bow before her ...as she plans one knee against the gorund ...
(Sorry about that Mistress. Are you showing that human through your lands?)
The pokemon would ask her as she would wait for her answer. One knee down and her head looking only at the ground. Waiting for her bid to raise her head again and to see what her Mistress wish of her. ((... Yes, now carry on.)) Eris knew that eventually, her minions would notice she was missing... But ah figured she didn't have to admit to being captured just yet. Once the Pawniard was gone, Eris took the lead again, and Celeste followed close behind, unsure of what had just happened. OOC// this quoting stuff is easier for me on my phone.

It was over.
They had won... but at the same time, they had lost...
Lindbergh's webbing fell free, and she hit the ground hard, that poison was taking hold now the adrenaline was no longer there to fight it... but she was struggling...
Nightingale had been knocked out.
They'd used up a Great Ball.
Two Spinarak had died, a third was within an inch of her life.
And for what?
The entire thing seemed pointless, a waste of time... and Burnout looked at the angry male Spinarak.
They couldn't let all this effort be for nothing, they owed it to the little Spinarak... just to leave and let everything return to as it was...
[Meine begleiter haben viel gegeben, um für Ihre Leute zu kämpfen...]
[Sie konnen nicht erlauben, dass es vergeudet wird!] He barked, looking at the downed Joltik leader.
Jasmine would sadly recall Lindbergh... it wasn't much, but she glanced at th ball... until she could heal the poisoning, she had to slow it down someway and let her rest, as she looked at the Lampent still struggling onward...

He didn't doubt there would likely be no reward... but if they could at least ensure these Spinarak were freed, maybe that would be enough in itself, at least he hoped.

"You did it Ami!" Mei said, laughing. They had caught their first pokemon... and now all they had to do was find a Chrono stone! Perhaps they could stay longer if they have enough energy and health to continue after they find that Chrono Stone... But for now, getting the requirements done for the mission counts first!
"What shall we encounter in this forest next?" She said before picking up the pokeball. Rubbing the dirt off of it, Mei fastened the pokeball to her belt. "Two out of six." And with that, she and Ami continued to walk through the forest.
Who know what else could happen in this forest?

Mei sighed. The atmosphere was quiet, and it was nice to appreciate the silence every once in awhile. Walking along in the forest, she would occasionally glance from side to side for a Chrono Stone... where would she find one?
Ami looked up at the sky. >Ah, the quiet air soothes me< She bleated. She raised her foreleg to flick off some leftover sand. It felt like she could just take a nap right now... the atmosphere itself was making her sleepy. With sluggish movements, and an inattentive mind, Ami ultimately tripped over a rock... and landed head on towards the ground. Now that was a wake up slap... She quickly stood up before Mei would notice her clumsy act.

Carmine spat next to him as the ball bounced around. Yup, still the #1 kickballer around, now if only he had some bases to run it'd all be fine...
Aw man. Now she was even more ticked. The Scraggy was looking up at the mew now, scratching at the back of his head. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. She was floating high up, too, he would never reach up there. The Scraggy narrowed his eyes, giving her an intimidating Leer. He;d wait until she drifted within reach to try another kick...

Lyuk started running, in hopes that the Cherubi would simply fall off. He knew that Kai would also be trying to get the pokemon off of him...
Kai had accidentally knocked Lyuk's hand away from the Cherubi. This time he was more focused as he watched the boy try to pull the pokemon off him. The Emolga growled and then sat on the Cherubi's back, letting loose sparks of electricity in his Thunder shock attack trying to get it off the boy!

((Used the potion.)) Nyx grinned as he easily raced away from the leaves. Seemed like his defense was as good as ever. The dark Umbreon stuck his tongue out at the Zangoose. ">C'mon, slowpoke!<" he taunted before lowering his head slightly. The pokemon then charged forward, aiming to Tackle the Nuzleaf and finish him off. He wanted to win this contest. So far the two of them had each taken one pokemon down making the contest a tie. He wasn't about to lose to the Zangoose.Kyo charged forth, his eyes narrowed in concentration. He was faster then the Umbreon and he wouldn't lose. He hadn't gotten off as easily as the Umbreon but the leaves hadn't cut too deep into him. Growling, he then aimed to slash into the Nuzleaf with Scratch! [10/10] Roll OneKyo the Zangoose, Lvl 4 [M] Rash HP: 19/21, PP: 22, ATK: 15, DEF: 11, SPD: 13, SP. ATK: 12, SP. Venturing further into the forests blackened depths, Mei would soon find the mists of the coast returning. Slowly the fog would roll in, wisping about the girl's feet and mixing in with the trees; it was not as thick as before, but cast a no less sinister presence.
Ahead of her upon the path stood a familiar figure...or, at least it would at first seem to be. Swathed in a thick tattered cloth, all that could be see of the creature was it's long pointed nose, and gnarled wooden right hand. This one however, stood taller then the last; and as they spoke, was most certainly male...
"You find yourself on a path most perilous child, and before you stands a beast like none other. Floppy ears which hear the fearful beat of your heart, large flat feet which thunder against the ground when it moves, eyes of blood, and fur as black as the beasts very soul, and large pointy teeth...The Buneary of Caerbannog!" The figure declares at last, pausing for a moment before continuing the weaving of this tale...
"Before you are three items. Three shall be the number of items, and the number of items shall be three" The figure would then hold up free of it's gnarled wooden fingers "The first is your companion, loving and loyal. The second a PokeBall; and the last, The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!....which shall you use against this beast most foul?"
