We are the swift... We are the strong...  Pepperpaw"Hold that thought, please, Joypaw." [Pepperpaw said calmly and with a smile.] "We'll be back in camp soon."
[Pepperpaw looked off after Spadekit, taking a deep breath before following her. He hoped that what he was about to do wouldn't ruin their friendship, if they even had one.]
[Waiting until they were both alone, Pepperpaw slowed his pace, knowing that if he stopped completely he would get distracted. He kept his eyes glued to the ground, watching as his paws gently landed on the ground without a sound.]
"Spadekit...I wanted to talk to you because...um..ah... [Pepperpaw couldn't continued talking due to the lump rising in his throat. He tried to swallow it but his nerves kept it firmly planted where it was.] We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

Well, i meant to say this a while ago, but...well, a lot of stuff happened. I just wanted to say, well...that...that..." [She felt her voice catch in her throat, but she quickly cleared her throat and looked him in the handsome blue depths of his eyes.] "Pepperpaw, I...I am in love with you. I have been for a while now...I know it may seem sudden, but...it's true, and it's the one thing i really want you to know. Do...Do you love me?" [She asked, fearful for his response.]

We are the swift... We are the strong... Pepperpaw [Pepperpaw cringed slightly, expecting the worst when Spadekit cleared her throat. Hearing the word 'love' made his heart flip and caused him to become speechless.]
[His mouth hung open slightly in disbelief. Joypaw had said Spadekit liked him, but for an odd reason he couldn't see that happening. A beautiful calico she-cat like her falling for a plain tom like him.]
"I have...no clue what to say..." [Pepperpaw said slowly before leaping at Spadekit, sending them both to the ground in a heap.] "Apart from, yes. I love you with all my mind, soul, heart and strength." We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

[She smiled, her heart fluttering at his response. she gave a small lick to his cheek.]
"Oh, Pepperpaw! It makes me so happy to know you feel the same way!" [She smiled, and felt her tail twitch.] Oh wow, am i going to entwine tails with him? How romantic! [She paused.] Wait...i don't even have a tail to entwine! Well, there goes THAT fantasy...

I've lost myself in rings of flames.

[Larkpaw dragged her paws as she headed, rather somberly, to her nest in the apprentices' den. So much turmoil had happened earlier, that she was exhasted and frustrated by it. The golden apprentice wasn't in such a good mood anyway. Embergaze has yet to return, and as she remembered the starry night that Owltalon and Rosewind had stayed out in the moors, her concern for him grew. But something else was boiling, deep inside her. A hatred for Mapleleaf. Come to think of it, Mapleleaf had always rubbed Larkpaw's golden fur the wrong way.]
[The blue-eyed she-cat curled up in her bed. Grateful for the soft, sun-warmed moss. Exspecially after all the turmoil recently. Falling into a fitful sleep, the young cat began to dream.]~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A sleek brown cat was streaking, with a smile wide on her face, towards me. I squinted, my blue eyes narrowing, attempting to recognize the approaching cat. With a gasp, I murmured, "Willowstar, it can't be you." The old she-cat, once frail and blood stained, settled beside me, appearing young and free. "Oh, but it is." She purred. The glowing smile dissappeared from her sweet face. Her emotion more solemn, her body stiffer. "I have something to tell you. About a special tom," her amber eyes glinted mischieviously, as my mind flashed to sun bright eyes. "Embergaze," I whispered. "Yes," she continued. "You're correct, Larkpaw. You two are destined to be together. In fact, there's a little prophecy as proof for you. I really should be telling Iceears this, but that poor she-cat's got enough on her mind." Willowstar began to ramble on and on. "The prophecy," I tried to remind her gently.
"Ah yes, sorry.
After the maple leaves fell,
Then will be your time to tell.
But, Lark, you must remember,
The way to the heart of ember.
Or your life will be eternal hell."
I nodded my head, in slight understanding of her words. After the maple leaves fell? When did Mapleleaf fall? A kind voice called the former leader back. "I must go, now. Larkpaw, do whatever you must. And good luck." She said fervently. "Good-bye Willowstar!" I called, as the she-cat hared away. I'm finding feelings I can't retain.

"Right...well...we should be heading back now," he said, "I have a strange feeling that...that something happened while we were gone..."
[He faltered, realizing Mapleleaf might think he was using an excuse to leave.]
"R-really, I do." he added, standing. "Thank you for taking me here, Mapleleaf. See ya around sometime..."
[With that, the muscular warrior padded off. He knew Mapleleaf was strong enough to make it back to camp. They had been sitting for a long time. And...well...he had enough socializing for one day. He felt a little jumpy after talking so much! ((xD))
He padded into camp and was greeted by Cometstream's limp body being dragged in by Galestar. Shocked, he ran up.]
"What happened?!" he cried. Galestar shot him an annoyed look and said, "If you had stayed in camp, you would have known."
[The creamy leader seemed to be in a bad mood, so Embergaze backed off, not wanting to irritate Galestar more. He padded away, slightly dismayed that he had made his leader angry at him.
Suddenly, he remembered that he was supposed to hunt. Foxdung! I forgot to go hunting! Now I'm doubly crossed with guilt...
Ruffling his pelt irritatedly, he sighed and stood awkwardly in the middle of the clearing, trying to think of what to do.]

 M a p l e l e a f "Stand up for what you believe in; otherwise, you will be trampled on by those who don't."____________________________________((I am NOT happy, to say the least.))
[Mapleleaf hauled herself to her paws, about to follow Embergaze, but veered off at the scent of rabbit. She prowled among the grass, spotting a family of rabbits. She dashed in, stunning all of them with a hard slam with her paws, and quickly snaped each of their spines.]

[Mapleleaf carried her catches back in camp, hoping that four rabbits would make up for Embergaze forgetting, then purred to herself. She dropped her catch on the fresh-kill pile, then padded to the center of the clearing, her eyes widening. She watched silently as Galestar snapped at Embergaze, then drew herself back from asking questions. She glanced around, trying to put together what happened while they were gone.] ____________________________________________

Wavepelt opened his eyes and looked around the den. He sighed and looked at the fur that was in Embergaze's nest still. He looked at it and shrugged, then stretched with a yawn. He padded out of the den and spotted Embergaze, he smirked. He went over to him "hey, Embergaze what happened while I was taking a nap?"
(XD he slept through all of that with Cometstream)

Wavepelt shrugged "well, that's good . . . wait, she's unconcious?!" He knew it was a stupid question, and that he heard it right. He sighed and looked at Embergaze "seems like a tough day for you, you might want to take a rest".
