Bryce sighed. "I doubt you'd be able to get the Balor twins back... only the Champions are trained in Bleck magic, and I'm not a Warrior, so they didn't train me in portals." Bryce said, half talking to the girl and half talking to himself as he thought. "How much of magic do you know?"

"I wasn't thinking I'd be able to do it on my own. I know I'm not trained well enough in the proper magics for that. Portals and teleporting aren't really my strong points. I could still contribute my strength to any spells cast, though. You know, to increase it's potency. Or... something..." She fidgets as she talks, her hands playing with the folds of her skirt.

Bryce chuckled. "We'd need Felix for that. Good thing he didnt jump in after them." He sighed. "We can't save the two... We need to stop the Blecks. They're gonna die." he mumbled to himself.

After hearing Bryce's remark Rasputin pushed his way past the party to reach the blond haired captian "WHAT!?" He bellowed, "GORUM, DEAD!? THIS CANNOT BE!" The angry russian was now up close to the captian's face "WHY WOULD YOU LIE LIKE THAT!!!".

"... wait, what?" Felix asked flatly on hearing this. "Am I missing something here? I thought you just met the guy!" Arguably contributing to Bryce and Isilien's discussion would have been a more productive use of her time. But this was a potential plot hole here. Srs biznis.

Isilien opens her mouth to start to speak when suddenly this crazy guy with an accent starts shouting, followed by the other elven woman replying back to him. She just closes her mouth.

Bryce raised an eyebrow at the large butcher now yelling him in the face. "Um..." he then grabbed Isilien by the arm and dragged her off. "I'm sorry about that, my friends are totally insane. You were saying?"

Rasputin turned to face the man-lady "HOW DARE YOU! GORUM WAS A TRUE FRIEND AND WARRIOR!" Rasputin began to calm alittle "And i'm not just saying that 'cause he's the only one who ate my meat... so BEGONE Wed'ma before i find another portal like that AND THROW YOU IN!!!!"

"I, um, noticed. You'd have to be insane to rush into a portal like that..." she says, barely above a whisper. She allows Bryce to carry her aside. It wasn't like there was much she could do, anyways (at least not physically). "I was just going to say that I've studied magic. School and all that, and then some studying on my own."

Felix just regarded Rasputin with a supremely unamused look. "... you're threatening me, you big lump of meat?" she retorted coolly after a few seconds. "Please! I could rot the strength from your muscles before you could even think of throwing me into any hypothetical portals!" Well, alright, bit of an exaggeration, but it was theoretically possible...

Rasputin raised an eyebrow. He didn't like the thought of having his muscles turned into butt gravy, so he turned from the woman of questionable gender and walked in the opposite direction "WHERE'S MY MEAT!!" He yelled at no one in particular.
