Rhone continued working on the portal, but was fully aware of what everyone was saying.
Hmm....this Kratos sound powerful...which is good. I'm sure Marv and Rox aren't the only bad guys out there we'll have to fight. As for Chiaro's rage abilities...I honestly find that more of a perk than a handicap. If someone betrays us and Chiaro kills them...as cold as it may sound...that's one less problem we'll have to deal with...

Rhone stops his work briefly to turn and smile at Azriel.
Well then....I'll tell ya what...if something happens and Chiaro goes berserk...I'll do everything in my power to calm her down. Even if it DOES end up killing me.
He then continues with his work again.
Just have to mix this..with that...hmmm.....next it says to...ahh, I get it...

Hearing such from Rhone only served to distress Azriel even more. She bowed her head, clenched her fists, and muttered "You're missing the point, Rhone. I don't want things leading to a point where anyone ends up dying. Especially my friends." She was to distraught to make any sort of response toward Darren.

Sheena walked up to Azriel and began to pat her on the back comfortingly. "If anything...I'll pitch in too. We all should, so that we have each other's backs. If we all work together, I'm sure no one will have to fall."

Resting her hand on Azriel's shoulder, Sheena smiled and added, "Yeah, don't you forget I have the Summon Spirits on my side. But my main concern is... If I recall correctly, your other selves sort of 'share' that body with you...will we end up hurting you really badly if we're able to subdue Chiaro?"

Azriel began to look up, holding her chin in thought. She was silent for a few seconds. "You got it right. Chiaro has thicker skin than I do, so to speak, and I might be out cold for a day or two due to the energy drain, but you don't have to worry too much," she explained, returning a smile of her own.

That was mostly true, but there was an important detail she intentionally left out, because she didn't want them to worry more about her. It was the fact that Chiaro's manifestation can literally drain the life out of her, if kept out too long. Whether she lives or dies depends on how long they take fending off Chiaro.

Believing things to be settled, Sheena looked back toward Rhone and changed the subject, asking, "Speaking of the Summon Spirits, how far along are you guys now with that portal?"

((Wait a minute, Rei? To clarify...has your character entered Meltokio? Because all of ours are at the top of the highest peak of the Fooji Mountains... sweatdrop ))

Schwarz looked at Azriel then to Oro, "Hey Oscuro I know you can hear me! I believe you'll agree when I say that the side of light is full of psychopathic powerhouses, who can't take a joke." Oro charged at his brother, causing Schwarz to run away, screaming, "See what I mean? It's true!"

(Yup yup, I will move him up to the group when I feel it is a good time to. : D)

Sheena nodded and replied, "Right. We agreed on the four: Volt, as you've said, then Luna, Origin, and Maxwell. Here goes..." She walked over to the portal and faced it, outstretching the palm of her hand toward it. As she began to concentrate, a wide circular glyph of purple appeared beneath her, slowly rotating.

"I call upon the hammer of godly thunder. Come, Volt!"

Loud cracks and pops of electricity could be heard as the lightning spirit materialized between Sheena and the portal. Subconsciously, Azriel began to back away, distancing herself because she could feel the presence of lightning clashing with her alignment of water, making her feel a little uneasy.

"Volt, I need you to give that thing a good shock."

"..." The summon began to send multiple currents of electricity from its spherical body toward the portal until a soft whirring could be heard coming from it. The summon then promptly disappeared, leaving Sheena back to her concentration.

The glyph turned yellow this time. "I call upon the light of the heavens, Luna..." Then white. "...Source of Heaven, Earth, and everything in between, Ruler of all, Origin..." Then multicolored, prismatic. "...and the Ancient ruler of the elements, Maxwell! Come forth!"

The Spirit of Light materialized where Volt had. A few feet to her left, the King of the Summons. Finally, a few feet to her right, the Spirit of Molecules.

"I need you all to channel your power at that portal. A strong flow of mana needs to be maintained...we are trying to get Kratos back."

The three of them collectively nodded and answered, "Understood," facing the portal and pointing their weapons (Origin, only a single blade) toward it, guiding their energy to flow into it for as long as Sheena could will them.

"Make this fast, Rhone. I can't keep them out for long..." Summoning usually took a lot out of Sheena, and she was already feeling the fatigue of having some of the strongest ones out all at the same time.

Azriel and her otherselves within her watched on in silent awe, nearly overwhelmed by the massive power that could be felt hanging in the air from the Summon Spirits' presences.
