Shiori smiled and reached up, happy that she was actually doing something productive for once. She set her hand lightly on his shoulder and after a couple seconds, it began glowing with a faint, almost purple light. The light slowly spread itself from her fingertips like a fog, moving to his shoulder where he was injured. After a second, she pulled away, smiling happily. "All better!" she nodded, and then busied herself with getting food. She didn't get much though, and simply pulled a plate of spaghetti and a roll for herself before moving along with Arashi. Her ears tilted and then flattened back as she glanced up at him for a second, wondering what he was thinking about, but not wanting to pry and ask.

Orthae stretched his arms upward, his empty plate in front of him covered with syrup, butter, and bacon remnants. "Ah...that was good." The four of them had been chatting about random things and obviously none of them had noticed that hours had passed. Orthae squelched his burp in his throat politely. "Excuse me." He said with a smile. Verin punched him lightly on the shoulder. "C'mon, Orthae. Stop bein' so conservative, just let loose once in a while." To prove his point, Verin turned his head and belched. At least he had had the decency to cover his mouth with a napkin. He laughed as he turned back to Orthae. "See? Live a little."

Raine's eyes went wide for a moment, hearing Verin's loud belch. "Well," she said, trying to stifle a giggle that was half escaping between her fingers. "That was the first time I've ever heard anyone do something like that." Sakura sipped at her juice for a moment and then laughed. "Naw," she said laughing. "I could top that one easy. I just try not to when it comes to orange juice. Nothing like orange juice pulp coming up the second time around." Raine looked at Sakura, who's face had now turned a shade of crimson. Raine giggled, "At least we don't all have to be polite sometimes, right?"

"True, not always. But I just prefer to. It's easier to make friends that way." Orthae nudged Verin with his elbow. Verin responded by merely rolling his eyes. Orthae was hit with an idea. They should head over to that place where you got to hone your powers by blowing whatever got in your way to bits. "Hey! Anyone care to join me on a trip to the training hall?" Verin seemed eager. Cracking his knuckles, he replied, "I thought you'd never ask. I've been dying to blow something up." Orthae directed his attention toward the Raine and Sakura. "How about you two? You in?"

Sakura nodded, "Most definately. I'm sure my weapons would love a little action. There hasn't been too much use for them lately." Raine looked at Sakura for a moment, "Weapons? I thought you only had the swords." Sakura laughed, "I do silly. But what I'm talking about is so much more than my swords." She held up her hand about chest level, her eyes glowing red for a moment. Wiggling her fingers they began making sounds like sheets of metal rubbing together. Grinning, Sakura looked at her hand, what she had was a claw for a left hand. Her fingers, mutated by the magic she wrought, curved inward like cat's claws. Closing her eyes she pressed both of her hands together, her left hand becoming normal once again before she opened her eyes back up. Raine almost shrieked if she had not known the types of things Sakura was able to do. "How about you, Raine," Sakura said. "How do you feel about going and training? Or you can watch me if you like." Raine nodded, "That would be fine with me."

Verin and Orthae practically leapt out of the booth simultaneously. After they were out, they stretched out their cramped wings. As they began walking toward the entrance to make their exit, as oxymoronic as that sounds, Orthae plucked a feather from his wing. He twirled it in between his index finger and thumb, looking at it as though he were admiring it. Verin had other thoughts, he knew that with a little magical twist, Orthae could turn that one feather into a deadly weapon. When looked at from that point of view, Orthae had two wings filled with an endless supply of daggers. That's a scary thought... Orthae was calm, cool, collected, and as stable as a forest. But on the dark side of the moon, that forest was burnt down. "You girls comin'?" Verin called to Sakura and Raine.

Raine and Sakura followed the guys close behind. They weren't about to be left behind in the dust. Pulling their bags on their backs they followed them towards the exit of the dining hall. "Have you guys ever seen this training building," Sakura piped up quickly, hoping to get some sort of answer as to what she should expect. Walking outside the day was warm, not unlike yesterday. Both Sakura and Raine hoped that they would be able to work on their magic abilities more in the training center and hoped that they wouldn't be separated too much.

With a broad smile, Orthae answered Sakura's question. It was his answer to many questions, "Nope! But that's what the map is for." He pulled out the map again, skimmed it over, and found their destination, plotting a simple route. An idea popped into his head. "Hey, can you two fly? If so, can you fly well? The training hall is almost on the other end of the campus and it would be quicker to fly there." Orthae folded up the map and put it in his satchel, where it mysteriously miniaturized to fit easily.

Sakura nodded, "At least the last time I checked Raine could fly." That comment got a cold look from Raine as she spoke a strange series of words. Before she knew it Raine had sprouted large white wings, such as Sakura had not seen in a very long time on her. Sakura couldn't help but smile, however she herself had an interesting set of wings. Closing her eyes, Sakura concentrated and moments later not one but two sets of wings appeared on her back. She looked at them for a moment as if she hadn't seen them in a long time, "Good. It's not easy mixing wings and biokenisis." Her wings were completely black and covered with what looked like long fur instead of feathers.

Orthae blinked. "Neato." Was all he could manage to say at the sight of Raine and Sakura's extravagant wings. There was one thought going through Verin's mind. Good. That means we don't have to carry them. Orthae and Verin exchanged looks, and they both grinned. In unison, they spoke, "Ready?" They both ran a short way down the path and launched off into the air. They loved the liberating feel of flight, it was like being weightless. They both turned and flew back toward Raine and Sakura, stopping in the air, keeping themselves aloft with timely flaps of their wings. A couple of feathers came off of Orthae's wings and they fell, spiraling and twirling, down to the ground. "Orthae, are you shedding your feathers again?" Verin called over to him. Orthae laughed, "Hehe, must be! Must finally be losin' those last few young ones." Verin's feathers had all fallen out and regrew while he had been out training. Orthae experienced less magical exertion than Verin, so his must have been shedding slower. Motioning for them to join them, Orthae and Verin turned and started flying in the direction of the Training Hall...

Sakura waited a few moments before taking off behind the other two. She didn't want any of them to run into one another mid flight, that would be disasterous. She remembered trying to fly when she was just a kid, she hadn't been able to at first. Controlling all four wings at once was quite a trick for someone who is only ten years old. She had been thankful that she was able to use the first two in case she couldn't get all four to move on their own. It was interesting, if she stood and showed off her wings each one would literally move on their own. Flapping her wings she took off and was soon closely followed by Raine.

Sarah walked into the dining hall and sat down in a random chair, far away from most people. As hungry as she was she wasn't in the greatest mood to eat anything, then, why was she here? She was looking for someone, someone that WAS very special to her. Is he still? She wasn't sure, that's most of the reason she was looking for him, or did she miss him? "It's been so long..." She muttered under her quiet and still breath, tears starting to fill her orange eyes. A small tear drop fell from her depressed eyes and rolled off her right cheek down to her chin, then slowly dripped down to the lonely and empty table. It dripped like blood would of from a thin but deep paper cut. Her heart beated hard but slowly against her chest and every beat was painful, like a knife was driven threw her heart every time it would even move. "Why am I getting so worked up? Am I worried about him? Or do I just miss him so much? Maybe both?" she wondered quietly to herself. If she were to speak any louder she would probably break down slowly and sob, but she didn't even want to say it louder besides for that. Other people had no right to know about her problems, no right at all. She looked arround the dining hall and didn't see anyone she knew, this was good, but also bad.

Yes.... Hate me, live with the thought of me, live with the thought of me killing our family. Get stronger, maybe you can kill me one day.Arashi growled solimnly to himself. He couldn't bare the thoughts anymore and he just wanted to them apart, he couldn't stand it then and now. 'Hieii, Akiio, me.... All bad in seperate ways but we were dumb to think that we wouldn't have to bare witness to the consinquences. Why is it like this now?' He hadn't figured out that Shiori was looking at him. He looked down and paid for both the trays, he began walking to a table on the far side of the dinning hall. His growls were frequent as his eyes hid in the shadowy part of his hair. His yellow eyes upon the table with the cooldest glare of them all even though nothing would come of it if he broke the table.

Shiori bit her lip uncertainly as she watched him, not really sure what was going on. But her ears flattened back a little further each time she heard him growl. Despite this, she still picked up her tray and trailed after him to the far side of the cafeteria, her head tilted slightly on confusion. She glanced around a couple times and then looked back at him, jumping as he smashed the table. She almost dropped her tray, but managed to catch it again before it hit the ground. She straighted again, breathing out slowly in relief, and then approached him slowly. "Arashi-senpai, what's wrong?" she asked softly, looking up at him. She knew it couldn't be his shoulder bothering him since she'd healed that, so was it something emotional?

His teeth bared a little bit. The fronts of his bottom and top row of teeth from fang to fang they showed. His eyes still covered by his hair as he tilted his head down. He wouldn't do anything to harm Shiori and he knew that he could be dangerous at times so he didn't know what to do. His tail acted on it's own as it caught his tray. He put it back on the table and then thats when he heard Shiori. "Eh? Nothings wrong Shiori-chan. You don't have to worry." He rubbed her head and took in a breath.
