Renekai spotted Lamen and jumped up. "Hiiiii!" she said, grinning. "Yeah, I do need a room... Would you really use up your points for me?" Renekai's eyes widened with amazement and happiness, as if sharing your points was the best thing anyone could do for another. "No one has ever done that for me before! You're the best, Lamen!" Renekai leaped out suddenly, and gave Lamen an unmistakeable glomp. Bell thought grimly to herself, That's just because you've never needed a hotel room when you were with someone else... But Bell wasn't going to complain; hotels would be a nice change to hard ground, though there was no stopping Renekai from jumping on hotel beds until their pristine covers were falling off.

Day laughed. "Alex, stay here and make sure Faith doesn't dig up a Weedle or something, will you?" He barked and whined, wanting to follow Day wherever she was going, but still stayed reluctantly. Cosmo was perched on Day's shoulder, looking out for food, no doubt.
Day stopped at the local Pokemart, and with about a fourth of her money managed to buy some more apples, a box of cookies, a few packages of salad, and some water and potato chips for the road. She sighed. "Cosmo, you better hope I brought enough money to last us!" She giggled when his eyes took on one of those looks that said, "If I starve it's all your fault!"
It wasn't long before they back to see a bored looking Alex and a hungry Faith. Day handed each one an apple and a cookie, with a bowl of Poke chow and some water in the middle of their little picnic. She herself ate a salad and a bag of chips.
They worked off their meal by sightseeing, walking all the way around town. The air was pure, although windy, and Motterossa had some breathtaking mountain views. Day had the amusing thought that it would actually by nice to live in Motterossa if she had to move from Katarina at some point. But, as she was only 14, barely old enough to be traveling without her parents, she waved the thought away from her mind and focused on the sights again.

((Oops. xDD Haha. Okay, thanks Fayah. heart Does this mean we all get to parasite other wagons? O3O ))
"Whoah-?!" The glomp made Lamen lose balance and nearly fall over. Luckily for her, there was a table nearby (this was a restaurant, after all) and she managed to lean on it in time. "Well, it's not much more for two beds, so it's not a problem. I like the bigger rooms anyways." Lamen was surprised by Renekai's gratitude- it's not like she was using any actual money. But she was glad to be of help to someone. (She had no clue how much annoying jumping-on-beds she'd be subjected to hearing that night. )
"So, looks like we'll get to be together a little longer, Bell." She smiled at the pokemon, wondering if it would eat anything from the restaurant.

ooc| Here's what happened... during the travels, the wagons were attacked by two houndours and one houndoom. The houndoom managed to set Wagon One on fire, which kinda trashed it a bit... those who were on Wagon One joined other wagons for the rest of the day.
Wagon One is being repaired now. FFN says that, tomorrow, we can choose whether to stay with Wagon One or join other wagons tomorrow. :3

Kayla leaned back into the booth as she finished her meal. There's nothing like the feeling of a full stomach. All of her pokemon had a servin of Pokechow and they were finishing their share as well.
Grinch, who is a naturel thief, attempted to snatch some extra chow from Adira as she was scanning the crowd of the city but was caught in the act when he was finished with his own. Adira did a half-hearted Hammer Arm without the force and had Grinch rolling under the booth of the group of people a few feet from them.
Otherwise, the lunch was almost uneventful. Kayla left a small tip for the clean up crew before getting up and starting to head back to the Vision Corner to see if they were finished. 'They should be about now.' Kayla thought as she turned the corner and seeing the front of the store.

Bell eyed Lamen, then helped herself to some more pokechow. It wasn't too bad at the restaraunt-- though, of course, Bell's berries were better. But she didn't want to eat the berries yet, for they were carried around in her bag for emergencies, in case they ever ran out of food. Bell also had a few nuts in there, along with other odds and ends of food tidbits, but mostly there were berries. "This is going to be great!" Renekai said to Lamen. "If we can stick together through a fire, staying friends through a city will be a cinch!" Renekai was so happy that she wanted to see the hotel right away. "Let's go!" she said, grabbing Bell by the wing and her food with her other hand. Somehow between the time Renekai had arrived and Lamen had showed up, the hyper trainer had eaten her sandwich. How she did it so quickly was a mystery...
With Bell now grumbling at her side, Renekai jumped back to Lamen with alarming energy. "Bell can eat at the hotel, let's go!" she said, excitement shining all over. "It's been so long since I've been to a hotel-- a year at least! I remember when I used to collect hotel soap bars..." Renekai's voice drifted off as she passed into a reverie. Renekai soon snapped out of it, though, too hyper to contemplate. "Also, my sandal is all dirty, and so is my foot!" Renekai said randomly to Lamen. "I used my sandal on the fire, so it got covered in ash."

What an utter mess that was! fluo and her gang were all sticky fingered and faced because of the icecream. Ivrea had bits of fudge hanging from her violet flower. She looked very much like a street urchin instead of a traveller. Gathering their things and unbuckling her belt to allow her over gorged belly some slack, they marched on. According to the town key map a quaint bed and breakfast was located near the ravine. A place to stay was her main priority. She passed neat boutiques on the way, hell, even a vineyard!
Fluo could feel the sun's ray beating down on her. She bet some pokemon with a sick sense of humor had used their Sunny Day. Lucky her, she was one step closer to skin cancer and looking like a Slugma. With the sweat mixed in with the other liquids, she was in dire need of a shower. Her thoughts were getting more sour as the distance between their party and the destination dwindled. She passed by a shop selling aprons when she made a mental note to buy a buttercup yellow one for her Darkrai. It would loosen the old fart up. He just wasn't as spontaneous as the cute, fluffy Shaymin, nor was he the domestic engineer like Delibird. If fluo had to categorize him, he was the cigar-smoking librarian who wore many faces but had several dungeons complete with a historic, visual arsenal. Don't forget the indoor fountain that didn't run on water but a strange metallic, copper tasting liquid.
Fluo felt safe with them. As she approached a fork in the road she noticed someone in particular. This girl was without a pokemon and had on a red scarf. She was also unceremoniously scratching her butt...

The little bell of the door rang when Kayla walked into the shop. She scanned around again to see that the Skitty that was sleeping earlier was now awake and cleaning itself. It's eyes glanced at Kayla for a moment before resuming her grooming after she let out a almost quiet 'Skit-Skitty' as if saying hello.
"I was just about to call you, dear."
Kayla took her eyes off the cleaning cat pokemon to look at the receptionist, who was smiling welcomely and putting back the phone receiver into it's proper place.
Kayla walked up the desk when the lady held out a oval case. Grinning happily, Kayla too the case from the receptionist and opened it to see if the glasses were fixed and that it was. It looked like they didn't go through a slight beating from a bird pokemon.
Kayla looked up at the receiptionist with happy tears brimming in her eyes. "Thank you so much. This was my last-mother and it's all I have that I could bring with me."
The lady tsked in sympathy. "I'm sorry to hear that, dear. Well I hope you think of us if you or any of your friends are in need of something. Here's our business card. Drop by if you are in town again."
"Sure will!" Kayla nodded, smiling. "Well I better get going. I still got lots to do. Thanks again!" With a wave, Kayla left the store with her heart lighter.

Great… now to find a hotel room, in this city where he knew absolutely no one. Alastair hadn’t even planned on getting a room, to be honest. It would be cheaper, he felt, to just sleep in the wagon in a sleeping bag, but nooo! He poked around the remains of Wagon One before it went off to be repaired, hoping to salvage something. Well, at least he got his money back, but his sleeping bag was burned to a crisp. There was no repairing that. Such a pity, since it had been such a comfy sleeping bag. And he also found the remains of some charred bits of paper with a distinct berry scent. Probably the ‘painting’ that Rylee had been working on earlier. Which reminded him, he’d have to get more berries for the little cubone, who would probably be rather despondent over the loss of his ‘painting’.
With a sigh, Alastair let the rest of the stuff drop from his hands and wandered off into town, trying to find either a hotel room or, possibly, a camping store. Something that might possibly sell sleeping bags. Oh, and food. He needed food, he remembered, as his stomach growled loudly. Con was off exploring the city with that umbreon friend of his, so he’d be fine on his own. Besides, the houndoom had eaten up all of those cupcakes and jerky…
Right, now there was another expense! It was probably a good thing that he planned on sleeping outside. It looked like it would happen anyway. Ah well. Life was life and it wasn’t always nice. Oh! Hey, there was something shiny over here… which reminded him, he probably ought to let Rylee and Lum out of their pokeballs now since it was safe. As soon as they were released, they reacted in predictable ways. Rylee clung to Alastair’s leg while Lum just… shivered.
Hey, it was cold out! And she was still soaking wet from all those water attacks on the wagon. Fluffing up her fur the best she could, the flaafy bleated her annoyance at her trainer before snubbing him.

"You're right. We should go get that hotel room. They're bound to fill up with all of us stopping here." he chuckled. A lot of people had been unhappy about staying outside. Not that he saw how bad they found it to be. Who could have a hard time being able to see the night sky?

((If anybody else wants a free hotel room for RPing purposes, tracking down Lamen would be a good idea. xDD))
Lamen took a glance at Renekai's sandal, and it did indeed look charred. "Alright then, if you'd like. I don't know where the Motterossa hotel is, though, so we'll have to look for it." The Jumpluff Hotel was a big chain- in return for a membership, it would award points every time one stays at one of its hotels. These points could be used to, well, stay at the same hotel again. The only thing that needed to be paid in such a case would be the taxes. Lamen glanced around, and seeing nothing she'd like to eat here, she figured she could enjoy a luxurious (and free) dinner at the hotel anyways. Later, she could catch up with Effie for a ghost hunt as they had promised.

When Kayla left the store, she placed her mother's sunglasses back on her head where it belong and hoping that this time no stray bird or whatnot steals it again because of it's shininess.
"Come on guys, let's get that ice cream I promised." So they left to find a ice cream stand and it wasn't that much of a walk. Kayla got a strawberry ice cream with strawberry topping and hot fudge. It was her absolute favorite combination. Sure, she loves Cookies n' Cream but she had a craving for something else. Adira adores chocolate while Grinch lives for Mint Chocolate. As for Quin, he is happy with French Vanilla.
They walked down the sidewalk as they ate their ice cream. Quin had to finish his quickly since he had no hands, claws or posable thumbs to walk and eat at the same time but it didn't bother him all that much.
Now they went to different stores to get some pokeballs, potions, little snacks for emergencies and then some.
