As soon as darkness fell Valzar slipped out of the house as he was accustomed to, heading off into the wood to meet with Callista. For some reason it was becoming more difficult for him to be apart from her. She was always in his mind. When he slept, he dreamed of her and when he was awake he missed her presence, her smile, the feeling he had when she was near...

Callista woke with Valzar on her mind. She opened the ground and cleaned herself in the way of her people. Her raven hair touched the ground, a feat she had never thought possible, especially since she had grown taller. Valzar, hurry! I miss you so much.

She glided toward him, smiling. "You like my surprise then?" She loved that she'd taken his breath away. It gave her a feeling of power unlike any other.
