 'He warned me about that, actually,' Evangeline said, lowering her hands again, a memory having sprung back to her. 'He told me that I needed to get working here within three days, or else I'd be experimented on, because of the aforementioned contract. Sadly for G CORP, I didn't sign any ******** contract, so I don't follow their ******** rules.'
She shook her head, hands clenched. They flew to her hip holsters, pulling out the pistols. She examined them, and realised that they were both empty, and bit down on her tongue, so she did not scream '<******** it!' in poor Mads' face.
'But as for saving him...Do you know what kind of place Karestra is?'

'Sounds about right, yeah. It wasn't a bundle of ******** laughs when Kat and me got forced there,' Evangeline shuddered. 'We were nearly killed. I was almost murdered five minutes in just because of being human.'

"Aze is more a man than what first meets the eye. I think he'll be able to survive. I'm more so worrie about how his mental state will be.." he said, closing his eyes for a moment, cause of his head again, before continuing. "So there's no way we can get there then? I guess we'll just have to hope then.."

He's got more abilities than I have, that humans don't charactistically have...so I guess he's still alive,' she mused. 'But this demon appeared outside, took Kat and me by surprised. I mean the ******** thing arrived out of nowhere, lurking in the forest. Last time I saw it actually was back in Karestra; it didn't tumble through the rip with us.'

He took a moment to just try and think of something they coul do.

'Absolutely nothing,' she whispered, her voice a hell of a lot quieter than usual.
She turned her head slightly, looking away from Mads, but not staring at anything in particular. Her eyes sparkled slightly; she was filling up.

'No,' she admitted, but carefully dabbed at her eyes, determined not to let tears fall. 'I'm very concerned for Aizel. You're right, he is stronger than he first appears, but I can't help but think that Karestra is going to break him.'

'He's pretty handy at using his new abilities, I think. That should aide him some. But from what I've gathered, Karestra's advanced quite a bit. Apparently it was rebuilt - the boss was even killed. Yet Katrica and I ran into him. Resurrecting the dead, rebuilding the place - they didn't have that technology before, I was told. So what other secrets have they got that we didn't uncover...? What's happening to Aizel right now...?'
