With the death of the demon, Jack collapsed to his knees, plasma and ice dissipating into nothingness. He thought he'd feel accomplished after getting revenge on the demon... Instead, he felt empty. Nina was dead. He hadn't gotten around to fixing the watch, so he couldn't go back and fix it. Emmet... Would he help? The albino genius could usually count on the God of Time's assistance, but... something felt different. Unable to shake the growing feeling of emptiness, Jack put his face in his hands and sobbed. Nina...
"...Holy s**t..."

Laharl placed all the peices together and the sword merged its peices together forming one more warlord sword. laharl held it up and grinned "At last this sword is complete." he said "Now fighting that fluffy guy would be easier."
Jack's watch rang out "Jack" Emmet called "Jack! your safe... OK, here is the deal. In order to forge the new sword for you, you need to hand over the sword that Link gave you after the battle.... also, you need to get rid of the sword of malice both you and laharl, if you dont then the sword will over power you all because of the proximity of them being near eachother. So Jack in this final battle dont use the warlord sword, use the sword Link gave you. you got that?"

Oomizu was at a complete loss for words. At first glance, it would almost look like she wasn't breathing. She was in such shock from watching her beloved godmother die such a horrible way and then see her godfather go through so much torment that her breathing was extremely slow and shallow. She might not have spent as much time with Nina as she did with Jack, but both had had a special connection that she and her own mother didn't quite have. Nina always accepting of Oomizu, even when Oomizu acted like a spoiled brat (which is probably why Oomizu never really gave 100% to being evil since it was sort of her way of apologizing for being bad at times). Now... Jack had his chance to destroy what had killed Nina, but this wasn't satisfying to Oomizu. That demon was only a puppet in the grander scheme. Truth be told, she was going to hold this all to Sesshomaru and wanted nothing more at this point than to get back at Sesshomaru at any way. She dropped the bow Hitomi had given her as she looked up, her eyes cold and steely, and she walked off into the ship quietly as some tears rolled down her cheeks.
Why hadn't she shot sooner? If only she had... Nina would have been saved had Kikyo only shot the arrow that was still in her hands. This was one of those rare times where Kikyo allowed herself to cry, feeling horrible since, in a way, she felt she had let so many down. She walked over to Jack and kneeled, wrapping her arms around his shoulder as she softly whispered to him, "Oh, Jack, I'm so sorry..."
Ed was respectfully quiet in honor of what had happened to Jack and Nina. He looked around and tried to find Kirara to make sure she was alright.
Marta couldn't believe what she had seen. Poor Jack. She could understand that he was in pain from losing the one he loved. She went over to Emil and hugged him tightly.
Piroko changed back into Pirogoeth and sighed lightly. She hadn't known Nina, but she could tell how much it meant to the group to have lost her.
Starfire flew over to Laharl after she heard what Emmet had said. "Laharl, we should get rid of the sword... I know you have worked hard to remake it, but the man on Jack's wrist said we need to get rid of it."

At first it seemed like Jack hadn't heard Emmet, instead turning to Kikyo and wrapping his arms around her. He needed the comfort, although the hug supplied painfully little. "Emmet... Can you bring her back?" he finally asked, pulling the watch out of his pocket at last. He laid it on the ground, not feeling much like holding it. "You can, right? You can do anything?" His voice was hoarse. "Please! I... I need her..."
Now that the enemy was defeated, Kain didn't feel the need to stick around, hearing a grown man sob like a small child. He took a few steps back, taking on his mist form, making his way somewhere inside the ship.
Hotstreak wasn't sure what to do. The demon was dead, but... What next? That girl's death still had him shaken, as he kept imagining if Hitomi had been in her place...
Gear watched on, zap caps put away. He really wasn't sure what to do with himself, either. Jack and he weren't exactly the best of friends, but it wasn't like the older man had done anything particularly mean to him. Nina was someone he didn't really know, but it didn't stop him from feeling a little hurt at her passing. So he stayed where he was, listening to everything.
Etna also simply watched, frowning slightly. Nina had been strong; this meant that really any of them could be killed. A terrifying prospect, that left her with an emotion she didn't often feel; worry.

Emmet sighed "I have the power... but i cant do it Jack...there is a very very high chance that it will cause a paradox... If i bring her back, even for a second, you yourself will be responsible for her death.... that is how high the chances of a paradox are if i alter time...." the watch was silent for a few seconds on the screen if you had looked closely enough you could see tears comming from the god. "Jack i know your pain more then you can possibly imagine, but you must use this ordeal to come to a revelation as soon as possible...Jack in all seriousness... Lay both swords on the ground and tell me, Which one would you perfer to have by your side? A sword made up of anger and hate? or a sword embedded with the love of Nina? This choice must be made by the end of the battle with you all and sesshomaru... "
Laharl sighed as he looked at Starfire. "I will... Dont worry Star, this sword will be destroyed by my hands very very soon."
Emil hugged marta to comfort her

Joseph noticed that the woman that had died recently had a strong connection to Oomizu. Getting up to her, Joseph taok both his hands, placing one on each shoulder, and giving her a big hug. "I'm sorry.. I was powerless to do anything." He told her, trying his best to give her comfort.

Jack hated this. Nina was really gone, and no one would help him get her back. In fact, most (if not all) would probably try to stop him if he set out on his own to do it. The sword, though... It had spoken to him. In Nina's voice. Gods, why did he have to make a decision about anything right now!? The love of his life just died, disintegrated and whatever remains already carried away by the wind! He couldn't even give her a proper burial! Proper ceremony... Nothing! He couldn't hold her child... Never even got the chance to look at it! To know if it was male or female... Hell, there might have even been twins. The young genius had already lost his one chance at having his own family... Why did he have to give up more? "Can't I... just have both...? I used both to kill that demon..." Yes, he was selfish, but unlike others, wasn't shy about admitting so.

Kikyo could tell how pained Jack was at having figured out he wouldn't get Nina and now make an important decision. She wasn't quite hugging him at this point, but she had both hands on his shoulder for comfort. When she spoke, her voice was very quiet and calm in a way that you could tell she was making herself stay this calm. "Jack, you know as well as any one that you can't... It would be wisest to give up the sword of Malice. Nina's connected to the sword Link gave you, and... I'm worried for what might happen when you see Sesshomaru while you still have the Sword of Malice... The gods know how you barely kept from losing yourself completely to the anger you felt just now... But, it's your choice, and I will respect what ever you choose to do." She gave Jack a very soft smile to try and comfort him.
Oomizu tensed up when she felt some one behind her and hug her tightly. You could tell she had a momentary panic, but she calmed down when she heard it was Joseph who was hugging her. She felt the tears start to overwhelm her as she turned around and burried her face into his chest and grasped his shirt tightly as she becan sobbing heavily.

Emmet knew he shouldnt mention it but he had to. "Jack..... If you get rid of the sword of malice, i can tell you that there is a 40% chance that you will see Nina again.... alive....but if you dont. there is only a 1% chance...." the god informed him, hopefully that information might be enough to make him make up his mind. "The watch's power is growing low, ill see you after the battle Jack."

"Take it," the young genius immediately replied to the now quite watch. Any chance to see Nina again, even if only for a moment, he would take. Jack didn't care how, why, or even when; just that he would. The idea of living without her... seemed impossible.

A orb appeared infront of Jack as a fimilar voice spoke. "Is that really your final choice? if so then ill relive that sword from you..." Sesshomaru said

Kikyo gribbed her bow and kept a firm hand on Jack's shoulder. "Haven't you done enough for the group, Sesshomaru? Jack is going through a hard enough time as it is. Leave him be."

Sesshomaru looked over to Kikyo. "I cannot do that, I need to get this sword... and that one that the young demon has over there" he said pointing to Laharl.
