*nothing responds to Kenji... seems Mastema wasn't interested in sneaking into BC.... After all with those kind of defenses he could walk right in and out as he pleased. Mastema is now just waiting in his third chamber... seemingly done with whatever he was doing*

Irvine quirked an eyebrow at the other being, but didn't say or do anything because she didn't do anything hostile to him or 9. He turned his attention back to 9. He took his middle and index fingers and pressed them against her jugular vein in her neck. He placed his other middle and index finger to his own jugular vein and counted the beats. They were off by 6. 9's heart was fading.
"9, you have to hold on. Your heart's skipping to many beats. It can't skip any more otherwise we may lose you. Just rest here and concentrate on breathing."

9 nodded to Irvine as she stayed still in the bed. Her skin was a little clammy but she looked like herself again.
“Don’t worry Irvine.... I still have 4 more lives left. But my stay here might end up taking one.”

Irvine took her hand and gripped it tightly. Truly, he was not worried about this woman. However, he did not want the death of her on his mind in the battle ahead.
"You better have three more lives. Otherwise when we get out of here, how am I going to explain that I got our leader killed?"

She smiled softly as she patted his hand with her other. She sat up with a groin as her smile faded. She was little headed and dizzy.
“If I die I’ll let you kill me.”
She said half jokingly as she tried to keep his and her spirits up.

He frowns when he notices Dist fade away. He summons his chains to transport him back into the sanctuary. What an uneventful day. He appears on 9's balcony since he really knew no other place to go to. He turns his body towards the room and pauses as his mind outlines Irvine's body and 9's in her bed.

9 slowly stood up and headed for the bathroom. About half way there she dropped to the floor on her knees. She swore softly under her breath. As she stood back up she gripped her chest with both hands and stayed still

He had walked towards the room and stood by the door, knowing that there was possible still hosilities against him for his current. His echolocation depicts 9 going towards the bathroom and dropping to the floor. He quickly rushes to her side to help her.

Irvine was about to move to 9 to help her when Akki beat him to the punch. He shrugged and leaned against the wall.
"9, if you need my help, I'll be here."
