OMG you've never seen 2001: A Space Odyssey?! My ipod is named HAL, I have a HAL desktop right now - what is wrong with you man?

So I'm playin' back through the Half-Life 2 Episodes, with the commentary on (I'd never done that before), and I'm having a blast. I'm wandering around White Forest, when I find a particular track about how Gabe Newell and JJ Abrams had shot e-mails back and forth, since each was fan of each other's projects.
Apparently there were Half-Life references in Lost, so....

I just haven't gotten around to it I guess. Didn't watch when it started and was put off by the giant hoopla because I'm snooty.
Ironically I've got several random stories involving Lost cast and crew. xp
