Hitomi's HP: 6/9 Clone's HP: 9/9
Hitomi managed to catch the hit on her side and rotate so as to prevent too much damage. It still hurt, though. damn, I've got to stop hitting so hard. Hitomi finished her spin and tried to drive the back of her hand into the clone's temple. Unfortunately for this thing, I'm not starting now. I need to get this thing over with. Plus I have an ace up my sleeve that wasn't taken into account.

((Why do the dice always hate me when I'm fighting? But any other time, they love me. crying
Oh, yeah. Miss))
Either Hitomi was thinking too much or she really was hurt worse than she thought, but either way, she still missed, turning and dropping low. She made a mistake. The clone brought its foot back towards her face and she didn't know if she'd have enough time to dodge it.

((Umm... Do I really need to say that the clone hit me?))
As the clone brought its foot around, Hitomi knew she wouldn't have time to fully dodge it. She'd have to get hit some way or another, the question was how could she avoid getting knocked out of the fight in the second hit? And how would she be able to dodge quickly enough? A thought popped into her head. yes. That's it.

((see? what'd I tell ya?
Hitomi's HP: 0/9 clone's HP: 9/9))
apparently that wasn't it. The clone's heel connected with Hitomi's temple, and she was sent backwards against her spin onto the sand. She couldn't fight. But she knew someone who could. Gig wanted us to grow stronger, right? So how about support from those closest to us? He understands that, at least.
Kon~kou was immediately on the clone, diving down out of the skies with her talons ready.

Kon~kou saw her opening right before Hitomi was hit. She dived at the impostor and was soon up to speed. She hoped that she wasn't too late. The clone wasn't watching her, and she might be able to give Hitomi enough time to get her bearings.

The clone seemed to have already anticipated this and moved out of the way of the five inch talons that skimmed by her. She brought her fist down at Kon~kou. Does she have my mind, too? How could she have known what Kon would do?

Kon's dodge = 9 hit
Kon's HP = 3/8 Clones HP = 9/9 Hitomi's HP = 0/9
she's too fast. Kon knew she couldn't get out of the way of the hit, and she knew that a human, while only being less than twice as tall as her, could kill her just as quickly as a full-grown lion and just enjoy it better. The clone hit Kon~kou hard, and she dropped low to the ground, barely keeping herself from nosediving into the dirt. She pulled up and rose into the air, trying to buy some time to catch her breath.
Hitomi watched as the clone connected with Kon~kou, and watched as Kon got batted down. DAMMIT! why can't I get up!? Kon's in trouble!

Kon~kou needed to buy Hitomi more time. She wasn't ready to get back up. And Hitomi couldn't win like she was. Kon dived once again at the clone. She hoped to at least distract it. It looked like Hitomi was getting a little bit more control over herself, but it'd be a little bit before she could fully fight.
Hitomi gathered her strength. There was nothing she could do for Kon~kou right now. She couldn't help her while she was on the ground. She had to get her bearings about her. She focused on a tree in the distance. She tried to make the images align... Slowly it began to align, but it was still blurred. She needed more time. Please, Kon... Hold out a little longer...
((Hitomi=resting.
Resting = 1 hp + 1cp per turn. Kon~kou's and Hitomi's turns coincide, so +1 hp for Hitomi.
**Really wishes she could use kawarimi right now, but the damn rules say academy students don't 'know' them until they graduate... BS if you ask me...** ))
EDIT: ((OMG am I looking at that right? A hit!?! wow. it's about time. Now watch this, she'll uber fail on the damage.))

((*jaw drops to floor* Way to go, Kon~kou!
Kon's HP = 3/8 Clones HP = 4/9 Hitomi's HP = 1/9 ))
Kon~kou felt her talons dig into the right shoulder of the clone. She tore out as large a chunk as she could and hoped that she could get out of this without being hit hard again. Hitomi could do this if Kon~kou could just buy some more time. Every second counted right now. Kon needed to show that she could help Hitomi after all that Hitomi had done for her...
Hitomi heard the sound of talons ripping through fabric, and knew that Kon~kou had hit the mark. That bird could do more damage than Hitomi any day of the week. And Kon~kou, Hitomi thinks, knows it. Konpeki~kouken. My Azure Guardian...

Kon~kou's dodge= 9 miss 3nodding

The clone roared and tried to bat Kon~kou down again, but due to the imbalance of weight, it missed. Barely. Kon~kou spun to avoid the hit and rose into the air again, looking for another opening. She circled for a moment, giving Hitomi more time to rest. damn... Kon's having all the fun without me... I've got to beat this thing. Kon's taken one hit for me, how much more can she take? It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but to punch a bird like Kon down like that, it had to hurt.
Hitomi stood up, charging towards the clone with her fist drawn back. She was aiming for the throat. No time to be screwing around. The kill is all that matters.
Kon~kou dived at the same time, to help Hitomi if she needed it.

Hitomi perfectly executed her strike. She did not strike with a full fist, but rather extended her fingers slightly so that she had a thinner surface to work with. The second and third knuckle on each finger connected with the clone's throat. She just had to see how devastating her hit could be. Let's see how this b*****d holds up against this. She wants to hurt Kon? I don't think so.

Hitomi felt the Clone slide back at the last minute, taking some of the force out of the blow, but still getting hit square in the throat. A normal person would have had a coughing fit, at least, but this was a clone. Not a person. Hitomi had to kill it. That was her task, and she'd perform it as best as she could. Damn thing's smarter than I thought. How can it keep tabs on both of us?

Kon~kou dove and stretched her talons out to the clone. She wouldn't take its life. She'd leave that for Hitomi. She seemed to want it. Kon would just try to graze the clone and leave it barely standing. She hoped it didn't turn out too bad for them.maybe if I can just take it down to an equal playing field. Hitomi can get it on the next shot...

Kon grazed past the clone and felt her talons catch. she purposely let them take a lighter hit than they normally would, but she felt that it may have been too much. As she slashed the thing's back open, she turned and landed beside Hitomi. It's all yours. Hitomi couldn't understand her, but Kon wasn't going anywhere. She would let Hitomi deal with it as she would. Just like the food. Kon didn't eat if Hitomi didn't will it. She wouldn't kill Hitomi's prey without that same permission.

~Character Data~
Name: Fubuki Shinratsu “Shin” (Fubuki=snowstorm, Shinratsu=bitter) Village: Hidden Mist (Kirigakure); Currently residing in Hidden Stone (Iwagakure) Clan/Bloodline: Fubuki / Boushi no Hyouden (Eye of the Eternal Snow Field; 3 Cp per use) Element Affinity: Wind/Ice Age: 12 Gender: Male Rank: Genin
~Appearance~
Headband: Graduation ceremony has yet to take place. Height: 5’2 Weight: 80 Ib Hair: Snowy-white Eyes: A pale, near colourless, gray-blue Doujutsu: Physical Description: Shinratsu’s hair is fairly strange - neat on one hand but also somewhat spiky, with the colour of freshly fallen snow. He usually ties it into a low ponytail (like Itachi’s). He has long bangs that fall over his forehead and sidebangs framing his face. Since Shinratsu dresses in the traditional Fubuki style (which is very similar to the Hyuuga style of dress in terms of long sleeved, flowing clothes), he gets mistaken for a woman quite often, much to his dismay. Like all members of his clan, Shinratsu’s skin is quite pale but not a deathly pallor like Orochimaru’s (closer to an Uchiha’s or a Hyuuga’s paleness). Clothing: Refer to the picture.
Background: Sick and tired of the Water Master Mistress’s tyranny, the main family took their young son Shinratsu and as many clansmembers from the Fubuki family as they could and attempted to escape the village. Unfortunately, their plan was discovered and as the clan tried to escape, Shinratsu’s father was murdered in front of his watching clan in the hopes of discouraging them. However, instead of swearing loyalty to Mistress, the clansmembers chose to fight to the death. Their combined bloodlimit turned the battleground into a tundra world; killing many of their enemies by freezing them over. However, many of their own also fell due to the side effects of their bloodlimit (being the very blood in their veins froze over due to the overusage of ice based techniques, resulting in very painful deaths). In the chaos that ensued, Shinratsu’s mother was able to escape with her son but she soon expired of frostbite (because she shielded Shinratsu from direct contact with the clansmembers’ assault) in a nearby town. Later, Shinratsu used the little bit of money his mother left behind and traveled in a caravan to Iwa, where the young clan head would remain for quite some time.
Here in Iwa’s village Academy Shinratsu would meet his two classmates: a young girl from the Henka clan (Shizuka) and a boy from the Aurum Taijutsu clan (Cronos), as well as his two Academy instructors: Keiko and Giglamesh. While Shinratsu displayed considerable talent, an excellent student prone to completing his assignments with both efficiency and perfection; he was also quite vulnerable to displaying a contemptuous eye towards his classmates’ abilities. Perhaps it was for this very reason the Taijutsu instructor Giglamesh did his very best to beat the values of teamwork and cooperation into the three, especially in Shinratsu.
Finally, it was time for the Genin Exams. But even after all of Giglamesh’s hard work, Shinratsu had proven quite stubborn: to the Hyouton carrier, in a battle, the only interest would be to fully crush his opponent. And he did so, wounding up nearly killing his classmate Cronos - fully hospitalizing the other boy. Though in skill he was competent, because he had failed to see deeper into the values of a shinobi (which went beyond simply being a tool or killing), Shinratsu was denied the Genin rank. For the following period, the boy went into an emotional regression; seemingly, all progress he made during his time in the Academy to open his feelings up to others had backtracked.
And perhaps this would’ve been the case, if it wasn’t for another shinobi Shinratsu had somewhat accidentally ran into, perhaps by luck - and this was no other than Roy, the third if somewhat absentee Academy instructor. Roy retested Shinratsu, but went further than just to observe what the other boy had learned from the Academy. And here was when Shinratsu displayed he had by no means enjoyed his time in the Academy; in fact later, to Roy, he commented his dissatisfaction on the uselessness of such an institution. Roy berated him, going as far as just to prove what the Academy thought could perhaps one day save his life. Only when Shinratsu was able to draw closer to realizing what really was his shinobi nindo was when Roy decided the Hyouton carrier could pass. The encounter ended with the Genin wisely advising the boy to live each day for what it was.
Shinratsu opened up more and became more receptive of human company. His admiration for the Konoha troope, the rebel army that temporarily were granted housing by the Tsuchikage, was evident. Watching their Sannins display such power struck up another longing in the boy: Hyouton, though a useful ability and perhaps the best honed for driving the masters out, would’ve to be worked on. Though he will never admit it, the Senju leader’s impaling technique had struck up great admiration and inspiration within the boy. Personality: Due to the tragic history of his clan, Shinratsu is generally cold and emotionally distant, preferring to keep others away from him. It wasn’t exactly that Shinratsu didn’t want friends; a part of him simply feared that one day they would be torn away from him, as his parents and clan were. While he spends most of his time training and studying, at his leisure Shinratsu would calmly meditate, to put his turbulent mind to peace. Partly due to the fact that he doesn’t share his feelings with others, at certain times Shinratsu can be especially cruel and lash out at the simplest things that he finds pointless or irritating. If you don’t have any business with him or the other way around, it’s best if you don’t talk to Shin. Other: Shinratsu does not share his specific likes or dislikes with others. He would eat what’s available, use what’s available, with the argument that during long, dangerous missions, shinobi does not have a choice over what they want to eat or what comforts they would’ve wanted.

Jutsu:
Ninjutsu:
Bunshin no Jutsu: This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. In certain years, Ninja are required to know this jutsu in order to advance to the Genin level. Bunshin no Jutsu creates one or more clones of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Unlike Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these illusory clones will simply disappear if come into contact, thus, they are without substance, and cannot do anything to damage the opponent. Rank: E Cp cost: 1 pt. per bunshin. Damage: N/A Requirements: Academy students learn it on the academy as a basic jutsu. Training days: Academy. Chakra control check DC: 5 per bunshin. Special: Can create 1 per 5 points in Chakra control. Up to 5 bunshin can be created. *The user assigns a number 1 through 6 to themselves and each of their clones indivudually. The attacker rolls a 6 sided die to see what they hit. The Intelligence check DC to see through an attacker's bunshin is the 1/2 the attacker's int mod + half the attacker's chk mod.
Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) The user utilizes the sheep hand seal or the tiger hand seal and concentrates their chakra to assume the appearance of another person, an animal, or even any object. This is one of the required basic jutsu taught at the Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninjas know this technique. Rank: E Cp cost: 2 "+1 per minute the jutsu is maintained" Damage: N/A Requirements: Learn in the Academy. Training days: Academy time. Chakra control check DC: 10 Special: Add chakra mod to your Disguise check.
Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique) This jutsu is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible. Rank: E Cp cost: 1 Damage: N/A Requirements: Learn in the academy. Training days: Academy time. Special: Add chakra mod to your Hide check.
Kawarimi no Jutsu (Replacement Technique) This is a technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly projects themselves with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Rank: E Cp cost: 1 Damage: N/A Requirements: Must have something to replace with. Training days: Academy time. Special: Add chakra mod to dodge bonus. You cannot use this while in a defensive position.
Nawanuke no Jutsu (Rope Escape Technique) A basic technique taught at the Ninja academy. When a ninja is tied with rope, he can undo the knots and escape using this jutsu. Rank: E Cp cost: 1 Damage: N/A Requirements: Learn in the Academy. Training days: Academy time. Special: Roll an escape artist skill check when using this. Add your chakra mod to the check.
