"I did great!" Shizuka said as she felt nervous as Shinratsu took out Chronos quite fast. "How are you feeling now by the way?" She said hoping he felt better from that last battle. She then looked over to Katagi who was still denying his girl friends. "Yeah, you remind me of a badger." She said simply and straight to the point.

"Giglamesh failed three. You and I including." The pale-haired boy answered quite bluntly to Cronos's inquiry, smoothly cutting across the conversation coldly. "And quite a lecture he gave on not using such useful Academy techniques." There was a note of contempt in his voice now but as quickly as it was there, it blended back into a smooth monotone. But it was not so easily dismissed from effectively sombering the conversational atmosphere. And it was quite apparent that Shinratsu found the Iwa Academy a waste of time.

1/10 Giglamesh would walk in to the village from the kara bad lands/south gate. He would be walkign slowly unlike his normal quick pace, as he walekd watching him it became obvoius he was extremly deep in though. Every so ofetn as he would walk he would place one of his feet down in peculure way, often follwed by a pause, nod, and continuing walking. He was already three days in to traning for one of his clan technique's but this one was much harder than the previous ones by far. Many people looked at him oddly as he would basicly randomly step in odd way, and every time he did it it would be a differe nt stance and walys followed by the pause and nod. It was a some what odd to see, but no more than the stumbling of a drunk of agugment between lovers. While he walked many villages noticed him while he was only a chunin captin, from his exploits durring the war he as a well as some of the others had made a decent name and reputation for themselves. Some would simply wave politly and some would say hello, but giglamesh simply continued extremly deep in thouhg paying little to no mind to anybody. some though he was rude, but most would see he had his mind apon somthing and would disreguard it as important shinobi work. The hole time durring his walk back to his aparment complex he would continue his slow paced walk with the ocaconial odd step pause then nod however.

"Well...It was basically a test." Katagi remembered when he took the test two years, the writing part was tough none the less. "It's obvious that you had to use the skills you earned...Bunshin, Taijutsu, ranged and Kawarimi to dodge any attacks would get you four points." The silver haired Genin explained to Shinratsu and the others. "not utilizing the simple ninjutsu can get you killed in a mission....But i'm sorry that you two didn't make it." He wondered how the hyper active one actually made it to Genin?

2/10 Giglamesh continued his walk back to his and keikos complex of where the aparment was located. As well did he continue he odd pace, but it showed him somthign that would help him incredibly. Along with his knoledge that there are a total of nine directions for attacks, there are about four different locations for each of those attacks to be directed at. With that knoledge it would be muc easier to break down the genreal attack area's as well as wich from the nine points the attack was cominng. This would help greatly and highly reduce the time it would take him for these moves, thus reducing the traning time for the water portion and fianly making it where he can get to the land traning faster. At the rate he was going he would finish this in no time at all.

3/10 Before he had realised it he had alreayd made it to his aparment complex. Instead of walking insdie he would look up the wall. ....and simply begin to walk up the wall as his desginstation was the roof anyways. He walked up the wall as if he had never heard of gravity, for the moment he was focousing on the wall waling instead of his thoughts, but still he thought of them showing how high his skill was in ninjutsu. Many belived giglamesh reiled souly on his katanas, but all that have fought him know otherwise as he specilise alsomt as much on ranged and ninjutsu combat as he does katana's. He was the poster boy for Lunar cycle blade, As most of the things he did always pertianed to it teachings. The main teaching was everthing came full circle, which he would begin to recite from time to time and did so when he walked up to the roof. "Like the moon the blade is to come full circle as everthing does. With life comes death, and with death comes new life. The straightest line is always is guided by a cicular path, just as there can be no circle with out the line, there can be no line with out the circle." He would recite more but as he got up so high on the aparment complex wall it became to hard to tell with his low deep voice.

Cronos said with a little pain in his voice "I am doing fine" he sighed "I left early since I could not wait for the results for the exams". Cronos paused as Shin spoke the words, the words replayed in his head thousands of times "You failed". "Ohh so I did" Cronos had a sad look on his face. He turned his back on as he started to walk away. "congratulation Shizuka on becoming a gennin " He said with some joy in his voice but mostly sadness. "Good bye all of you" as he raised his hand to motion waving goodbye as he walked away from the group to go back to his home to get stronger.
Cronos made to his home. The old oak mansion stood out among the old run down apartments which used to be his clans old homes. But after the attack of the earth master he had to sell most of them since they where run down a pretty much destroyed. He walked into the fount gardens. The garden filled with blooming flowers of many colors. He looked at the clan symbol, the golden sun imprinted on a Opel stone. Cronos paused he walked over and felt the cool gold metal he reached for his necklace. He paused as he riped the crystal off "I hope this was not a dream". He put the stones into slots on the sun, the ground started to shake as the fountain in the garden started to drain its waters the marble fountain sunk into the ground. Cronos ran over to the fountain the stone started to swirl down into a stair case into the dark depths.
Cronos started to walk down the stairs, he made to a chamber which was pitch black but a glowing sun on a wall. Cronos pressed it. The room lit from a giant fire in the middle of room in a sold gold fire pit. The room was covered in gold with pictures of the Aurum clan. There where tables covered in scrolls. There where two doors one marked with sliver and Opel marked knowledge. The other marked with the golden sun with the symbol for battle. Cronos was amazed with all of this but , then Cronos herd a voice he turned around and broke into tears as he rushed over to the figure and hugged. "Cronos you finally have come I have been waiting" Cronos voice was filled with emotion as he spoke "Dad I missed you"

"Many here seems to forget it's how effectively techniques are applied that matters. Not being forced to use them simply for simulation purposes. The opposing shinobi will never hold back from utilizing what's effective...what's currently taught often leads to naivety." Shinratsu spoke with his usual empty, quiet monotone, cold blue-gray eyes resembling the very color of a freezing winter night fixed on Katagi. It was as if he was justifying for injuring Cronos so terribly. But six hundred years ago in Kiri, any Student like those two would've...well... "My home village... Of course, a secluded village in the mountains would never have heard of that particular practice of the Hidden Mist..." Shinratsu said quietly, almost gravely now.

4/10 ((I hate you one stressed stare )) As giglamesh walked up the aparment complex a man and wonam would be arguing and the woman in fit of rage would literaly shove open the window to throw out the mans clothes draw and all, the wind woud scatter his clothes all about as she they they out from up so high. Unfortuanly for giglamehs as she shoved open the windo he was right next to there window and it hitted hi left leg hard enough to make him lose the traction, the disrupted his chakra and made him fall all the way back down to ground head first. The fall would make him quite dizy, almsot made him unconcious, to most other this fall would of killed them but giglamesh was far to sturborn for that. Giglamesh would sit up and look around the fall actuly made him forget what had happend and that he fell, lucly he remebr everthing else, he was to thick headed and stubborn to forget. He woudl look up and the clothe scattering in the wind, he would smile and get a sweat bead as the lady was mad at her husband but worried if giglamesh was ok. He simply shook his hand showing he was ok and the husband tried to see, this resulted in the two of them fighting agin and giglamehs sweat bead only got larger.
He would stand and dust himself off and head back up the aparment complex wall, this time trying to pay more attention to the surondings as to niot get hit so he dossent fall down agin, while he though of the teaching he dicided not to recite them agin due to what had just happend the previous time but he ran them threw his head he knew it would aid him in the technique.

5/10 Giglamehs would make it to the roof, rubbing the back of his head as it began to hurt from the fall. It he hadnt been s distracted by himself he would of been able to catch himself, however he was just that heavily distracted. As he got to the rof he caled the lagre eight foot mesh fench to jump on to the roof. There he would begin to strech himself, holding arms straight up and pulling arm to oppsite side, squating on lne leg keeping other straight apliy pressure to knne to streach it some as well. All of this he did simply to be able to memorize foot working.
One of the greatest reasons giglamesh was so effecinet at killing as his coleages were always trained on the anatomy of all things. The reason why they were tought this was to better know the bodies workings, and depending on the student how to most effectily kill, or how to most effectily imcapticate. Giglamesh in his use was ruthless no mercy to woman or even children any that opposed him would lay in puddle of there own blood, but since coming to iwa he has changed deeply he no longer has desirses to kill any that oppose him and if he cant help it wont kill under most circumstances. To lessen the risk of death he even had two new katanas made, which he didnt realise they were done and alreayd at his home the other day. what was speacil about these new blade was the fact that the blades was reversed.
Reguardless he was here to help give himself inlightenment about the anckle and foot working. He would do this by moving self certian way and memorisng how the lead foot was placed, this would give him the information he nedded to master the water version he evneloped in to the technique, and apon master that portion master the actuly land based technique.

Roy shook his head. There was yet another annoyance in the air now. He was hoping to find an excuse to slip out and go someplace...anyplace else but there really wasn't any. He had heard that Gig failed a few of the students and grinned. He remembered his blunder when he first started in the Academy.
Crossing his legs and falling to the ground, he sat indian style upon the ground and proped one elbow on his knee and rested his head in the palm of his head. He had a somewhat bored expression on his face as he listened to the banter between the kids that had accumulated. Granted, he was a kid too but since when did he become such a magnet for them? Ususally people avoided him and now that he was attracting them...dammit there was too much testostirone in the damn area and not enough estrogen.
He sighed and looked from one kid to the next, not really listening o anything in particular but just taking note of each of them. He noticed the bandaged kid and wondered what the hell happened to him. Before he could ask, he sped off like a bat. Reminded him of Katare form so long ago. His mind began to fade into thoughts of his old friends and how they basically paid him no mind till he became close to the Kage then they either vanished or started sucking up. Guess they weren't really friends then huh?
He fell out of the daze as he heard the brat that bumped into him start to badmouth the Academy Jutsu and play up his own villiage. It wasn't that Roy had any lasting fondness for the Academy. Hell, if it were up to him he'd blow it up with the happy couple tied to the main support beam. But it did annoy him when people boasted over one thing without fully understanding or respecting something else.
"So you don't like the basics huh? That's an annoyance and a half. Tell you what, why don't you shut up about your villiage and put your money where your mouth is? Obviously Kirigakure ain't all tha great if they fell so quick to the Masters. For a place with such a 'useless' academy, we're still standing free and independent. What ya got to say about that?"
Roy stood and looked to the much taller kid. He didn't care for his size...he was pissed now. He remembered one of them...the one he tested a while ago making fun of his size...he'd get him later. But as for now, this guy was the only one in his sights. "Sicne you don't think the academy is worth anything, I'll show you everything I learned there and nothing more. You come at me with whatever the hell you want. You win, I'll pass you. I win, you shut the hell up about your own damn villiage...and go get yoru hair cut. It's bugging me. What do you say?"

((Eh-heh... Sorry about the killer post... xD))
"And halfway smashed, nonetheless." Came his simple reply at Roy's challenge. The Earth Master was a temperamental woman which became her greatest miscalculation in facing an equally temperamental village. From what Shinratsu had heard during his long journey to Iwa, the Fire Master was the calmest among the Go-Ryu Master and always in control of his temper, the Wind Master with a bit more forceful in his ruling, and Mistress...that woman really knew how to manipulate people's fear. The very reason was that how the Water Master was different in terms of personality affected how differently the people of Kiri reacted to Mistress's invasion than Iwa did to the Earth Master's.
Which was why Kiri fell so quickly once Mistress disposed of the village leader. Being a primary power for six long centuries with its seclusion had indeed greatly influenced the island village's feeling of 'infallibality' and safety from invaders, which certainly was disproved after Mistress sent the kage fleeing off into the main continent, current whereabouts a mystery. But one thing did not change...and perhaps the greatest fault in Kiri's failure to be prompted to rebel. The 'Bloody Mist' was famous for teaching absolute loyalty at an early age to its young shinobis...thus was why the Mist had the first hunting-nin squad to track down rebels/renegades. And so, after Mistress settled in, most of the village eventually simply come to think of her as the new Mizukage rather than as an unwelcome invader. His clan as prominent as they were in the Mist, had failed to prompt the village to rebel no matter how they tried... The villagers simply weren't interested.
The greater power always devoured the lesser. One value, now questionable as virtue or vice, had never changed for the people of the Mist.
It was amusing how easily insulted Roy was though... Indeed, Iwa shinobi was stubborn, quite fitting for their village's reputation. And a stubborn village won't go down so easily to a persistant invader. However, Shinratsu's appearance had always been a sore spot. It was sickening how many would mistaken him for a girl or near always comment that he looked like one during first meetings. The long hair...well, that'll be his clan and their formal traditions. And as clan heir, his father made sure he didn't get away with tradition. Wait, why didn't he cut it after he came to Iwa...? The answer was simple, Shinratsu had better things to do.
"That is fine." Was his simple reply to Roy's offer. He displayed no annoyance nor irritation at Roy's insult over his appearance. Simply a blank, empty mask of an expression. Either way, if even Giglamesh wasn't able to hammer it into the young clan head's skull to USE the Academy Jutsus, Shizuka especially would probably be wondering how this petite shinobi would.

"Shinratsu-kun, He does have a point...To be less rude, each village has different ways of teaching. We have ours and Kiri has theirs." Katagi said with another fake smile as he tried to suppress the feeling he had for this kids monotone tone of voice and attitude. Katagi would then turn to look at the shorter genin. "Roy-kun, obviously it could of been just luck that the earth master took half of our village out..." He never knew he was that short tempered...this didn't look good at all...

Roy...usually wasn't this short tempered. Well he was but eh vary rearly let it be known to others. He was usuallyt he quiet kid that sat in the back. Course those were teh ones to watch out for now weren't they?
Roy looked to Katagi and scaned his face. He had been around master Masks like Kinami FAR to long. he read Katagi's face but said nothing about it. He simply shifted his eyes back to the Shin kid and sighed. He was letting way to much get to him right now and it was showing. He did a fw handsigns...no actual jutsu being performed. It was something he did to focus and concentrate. A distraction of will if you will. He looked to the kid and scaned his face. He was one of those bastards that had no emotions to hide. He simply was a blank book.
"What a sad face..." he didn't say it to be spitful or as a retort. He was really taking a look at this kid. He showed no emotion...no care. Was this really how Kiri was? Was this what they drilled into their students? To live as though life had nothing to experience but battle and obedience. Roy looked to him and got a little closer..."What's it like to not have any emotions? I've always wondered why someone would want to kill off their very humanity? Sure, it makes you more effective in battle...statisticly speaking but what's that got to do with life itself? Sure, you look good on paper and you become a good lap dog for the government and your superiors but since when the hell did people become born simply to become dolls?" Roy was rambling again. A bad habbit he had when things plauged his mind.
With a sigh, he simply shrugged and looked to the kid. He wasn't telling the boy to cut his hair because he was being mean, he was doing more to see he reaction. It got none and thus it was usless. A bad deal to be sure. "Hmmm scratch the hair thing. If I beat you I want information about you and Kiri...and one more thing..." he didn't say what it was.
He simply walked back a bit and turned to the kid. He zipped up his jacket as a cold chill ran through the air. His coat collar covering everything fro his nose down. HIs hands rested in his pockets. "Ok Playboy (his new nickname for the kid), come at me."

Cronos walked back and rubed his eyes to get the tears out of them, also to make sure he was not dreaming. Cronos stood there and staired blanky at Crius Aurum his dad. His dad was looked like a older virsion of him. His father had white hair with other colors in it, he had the same orange eyes as Cronos. "So Cronos I bet you are wondering how am I standing in front of you at this moment" "Well yeah that would be the quistion now would it" Cronos stood with still a blank stair.Crius had a very serious face when he spoke "Well Cronos its very easy"Cruis paused "When I was killed in the battle with earth master along with many other members of the Aurum clan I was brought back to here the Aurum shine""The clan elders knew that they would need some one to keep the clan togather and teach you how to be the clan head""Well some I was brought back to life""But I am not at full power since I just woke up in a sense" Cronos paued "So you are a live""Yes but if the world knew this you well be put in danger so I am going to stay in here intill I am sure you are ready""I am going to be your teacher about the Aurum clan""You well be the pefect teacher so where there other Aurum who lived though that battle"[/color]"Yes they where they where the ones who hated the idea of a child being a clan head so they left and went live in the mountins and some stayed in the sound village" Cruis paused "Some join the master side"
