206 - I think that if you are happy right now, that you're not wasting your potential at all - that happy is the best thing anyone can be. I think that if everyone just did what they felt happiest doing instead of worrying about making a name for themselves or changing the world, that the world would change for the better.
By that logic, I would assert that you are already accomplishing that which you believe you are capable of by living the life you want instead of the one you feel you should.

Firstly, I'd love to hear a Soldier's response to LPS' post above. Duty and Honor are a great deal more respectable, and make a bigger difference to those around you, than Hedonism is/does.
Just saying.
Secondly, to #207 I don't see the problem with wanting to engage socially with other people. That doesn't make someone an attention whore, it makes them Human. I would just be mindful of the kind of attention you're trying to get, cuz that's where s**t will hit the fan.
For example, you probably aren't talking about the kind of attention you get from posting your 'sexy pics' on all your friends' facebook walls, eh? Not all attention is good attention.
But seeking attention and love, wanting to know that oneself is important is natural, and using words like "attention whore" to label that desire is Not healthy, and not productive.
Hopefully I'm not missing the point....but maybe that helps?

I confess I really can't stand LoA... Car.char..o...Tyler...LoA.
I'm really sick of his "RahRahRahMetalllll IhateEverything" thing he's got going on.
And I know. "Wylr, why don't you just not read his posts?" Because, idk, I read posts.
Idk. Just bugs me.
Wanted to finally voice it somewhere.
