I JUST got back--walked through the door 20 minutes ago--to discover my cat LOCKED in my daughter's ROOM! Apparently, he's been there since FRIDAY!!! No food, no water, no LITTER for 3 days. Not to mention that L.A. has had a HEAT WAVE this last week, with temps soaring into the 100's. If we had delayed our homecoming any more, we might have found a DEAD CAT on my daughter's bed! As it is, he's dehydrated and traumatized and suffering from severe separation anxiety.
So tomorrow we now to throw away toys and books, sterilize furniture, and steam clean the carpets ASAP. This is the last time THAT particular person is getting a key to our apartment. evil burning_eyes evil burning_eyes evil burning_eyes evil
