Isilien turns and leans against the wall. She looks down at her feet, softly mumbling to herself, "Well, that was a great first impression to make."

Jinx played around with the lance that Flaco dropped in her hands, "That's pretty cool," she handed it back to him and smiled, she took out a throwing dagger and threw it passed Falco making it stick in the wall behind him, after a few seconds, it slipped out of the wall and fell to the ground.

Fate's a funny, cruel old thing. Just when you think you've finally gotten a moment to catch your breath, She has an awful habit of throwing you a real curve-ball. So it was to be that day for our brave (or in some cases not-so-brave) heroes. Just as they were recuperating after the grand battle with the Blecks, an ominous reiatsu pressure filled the area, cutting several people off mid-sentence as they suddenly went on guard again. Then, in the abruptly-darkened sky above them, a tear appeared. Pure black, it started as a mere smudge in the sky, but quickly it distorted, distended and ripped itself further apart, revealing a hellish, fiery vista within it. And in the foreground...
Blecks. A writhing mass of them. Hordes upon hordes, all struggling to break free. And yet, there seemed to be something holding them back. Something stopping them simply bursting forward and devouring all in their path. However, that didn't stop their taunts from drifting down to the ears of the onlookers...
"Living scum!" "You've done nothing!" "Those guys you just killed were weak! You're weak!" "Come up here if you want a real fight!" "Weak! Weak as halfling trash!" Ooh, at least two or three people going to be particularly offended by that one...

"I'LL TEAR YOU A NEW EARLOBE." was the easily indentifiable cry of the mighty Gorum Balor, flailing his axe around just after he'd filled his small pounch up with seemingly endless amounts of alcohol, hammerspaaace... lol, and running into the tear screaming as the cries of the dying pain-ridden Blecks filled the area.

Isilien stiffens at the feeling of the pressure. She pushes away from the wall and turns to look up at the tear. Her eyes go wide as she stares at the scene playing out before her. She has traveled a fair amount, but nothing she has seen quite resembled this. She watches the hordes of blecks jeering and screaming. It was kind of mesmerizing.
She hadn't taken part in the fight they were referring to. So it wasn't hard for her to figure they weren't shouting at her. Still, something about it didn't sit well with her.
"If you're so tough, why don't you come down here?!"

Konishi walked back to Throngar after being ignored by Bryce for the second time and just said, "are you sure he is your leader, because he just isn't paying ANY ATTENTION TO ME AT ALL........" Konishi then mumbled to himself "I just want to grab his face, and cut it right off of the facility of his head".

"Gorum!" Throngar yelled in a mixture of concern and exasperation as his brother charged straight in towards the Blecks. Before anyone knew it, the other Balor twin was following. "Get back here! They're taunting you, you bloody mud-mucker!" However, that didn't stop Throngar from soon crossing over into the rift after his brother.
"Stop it, everyone!" Felix was shouting. "We need to come up with a pl-"
But at that moment - indeed, as soon as bother dwarf brother were across and in amongst the mass of Blecks - a horrible rending sound filled the air as the rift juddered, then abruptly snapped shut.
Seeing this, Bryce shoved his hand onto Konishi's face and pushed him to the floor. "Shut up! We just lost two important comic relief party members!" he said, his voice filled with distress.
"... well this is bad," Alcharius echoed that sentiment in a less anti-fourth wall sort of way from Jinx's head.

Boa put her fist to her lips, "By the Gods," she whispered as the rift shut behind the dwarf brothers. Even though Boa did not know the dwarf brothers, she felt that there was some sort of loss. She prayed to the Gods that they would be safe.
Jinx stood wide eyed, she was somewhat relieved but still mourned the disappearance of Gorum and Throngar. She walked to her sisters side stared blankly in the direction of where the rift use to be.

The halfling glanced at her imp companion with a bit of worry. "Can I go in after em?" He said, a naive but eager smile on his face. "No." Ini's face turned to a frown, his arms crossed with a pout. "But.. LaCroix made me a real pirate. It's the least I can do." He raised his currently hooked hand that LaCroix purchased for him in Flamboyah. "I mean.." The normally excited, hyperactive imp had seemed to lose all his meaning. Lilium lifted him onto her shoulders, attempting to get a small smile out of him to no avail. She bit her lip worrying a little. "The least we can do now is to gather people so we can do something TO help them.. " Her voice hushed to a mumble, "If anything." "Lilium.." His voice cut off mid sentence, a voice with a tint of fear, and a slight bit of authority took over. "At the least, Ini, we can try to make a guess as to what's going on." He sighed, and rested his head on hers.

Falco looked at what just happened. Two people just went into a rift filled with nothing but blecks. This...this was new. He had never seen a rift open up and nothing but blecks showed up in it. Falco shuddered, and if it was not for his feathers, he would look ghostly white.
Kal just smiled, stood up, and dusted himself off. "Well if you all are done mourning, I suggest we find how to reach our friends, or at the very least see if they died instantly." Kal held hope in his heart. He had to, everyone else was almost destroyed at the fact both Brothers went into the Rift. Kal was going to make damn sure he brought their bodies back, dead or alive. "Well? Did you all become deaf? We need to go and help them. I don't care if Gorum killed me for doing so, we need to reopen that rift. Felix I need to pool my magics with yours. Our best plan of action is figure out how to reopen said rift, and any and all magic is welcomed."

With the closing of the rift, Isilien returns her attention earthward. She looks around at the companions of the two dwarves that just disappeared into the rift. They all seemed really concerned. It was understandable. That crazy dwarf charged that many blecks? Onto their home turf, no less.
When Kal declares that they must reopen the rift and that any magic is welcome, she decides it may be a good time to step forward. "Excuse me. Perhaps I could be of help, somehow?"
She's a little nervous, and a bit hesitant, given her earlier exchange with Gorum. It probably hadn't left the best of impressions with his companions and it wouldn't surprise her if they brushed her aside. Besides, given her manner of dress, she hardly looks the part of a mage. They might pass her off as just another peasant elf maid.

Bryce raised an eyebrow wonderingly at the elf maid and sauntered over there. "Hm... you're the girl who was arguing with Gorum earlier, weren't you?" He said. He'd witnessed the argument, everyone else just heard it.

Isilien turns to look up at the tall armor clad human. Then she lowers her gaze again and smiles nervously. "Um, yes. I'm sorry, I guess I can get a bit excitable." If he had witnessed the argument, then he had probably seen her almost fall off the wall in her enthusiasm to hurl insults back at the dwarf.
