Sheena stopped in her place and bowed her head, remembering the heavy feelings in the air that were around at such times. "While that's true...that he did betray us a couple of times...I believe he truly does repent for his actions. Plus, even after it all...Lloyd still forgives him."

Her pause allowed for everyone else to catch up to her, and as soon as they did, she continued walking at a slower pace.

Azriel laughed a bit at the memory of her acquaintance. "Pfffft. Yeah, he's a fellow half-elf and treasure hunter," she replied, "His is called a flintlock and he pulls off all sorts of creative elemental attacks with it. Not to mention, he's a pretty sharp shooter for someone with just one eye left."

((You seem to be knowledgeable in weapons, Vance. Do tell me when I got something wrong. xd ))

Azriel held her chin in a pause of silence, gathering her thoughts. "Let's see...there's one he calls 'Terra Bomb', in which he channels earth-based magic into a bullet. Instead of firing it at his target, he shoots the ground below it, causing it to explode and throw up chunks of earth and stone. Then there's 'Stun Shot', which is electrifying...literally. Lightning magic is put into the bullet, then when it hits the target, the charges spread out into the rest of its body. And 'Shine Harpoon'---that one lets a bullet lead a spear of light.

Those are the ones I can remember...if we ever cross paths with him, I'm sure he'll be glad to explain what else is in his repertoire."

"Sounds like someone useful we can add to our ranks," Sheena spoke up as she reached the summit at last, overhearing. The rest of the group was close behind her. "I sure hope we do run into him."

"Heheh...it's likely. He's a wanderer like I am. Hey...where's Cinkel?"

Sheena shrugged. "He just...disappeared somewhere. Left a note saying he had something to take care of. At least he left us the instructions on how to build the portal."

((I just realized Natoe planned on bringing Genis in. Don't know how long he'll be gone. D: What to do then after we bring in Kratos...say, Vance? Is Clumsy Colette Brunel still interested?))

Sheena nodded. "Right, the plans." She took a moment to fish around in her pockets and pouches, only to realize a few seconds later that she wasn't the one who picked them up. The revelation made her sweatdrop out of embarrassment. "Oh, I didn't...okay, who picked up the plans?" she asked, turning to the rest of the group.

Zelos appeared behind Sheena holding a piece of paper.
Relax, my hunny I've got 'em right here. ^_^ Everyone, keep their pants on!...well except-
Zelos, don't finish that thought unless you WANT to fall several meters.

He continues up the mountain and hands the plans to Rhone, while Fahriel brings the ingredients.
Hmmm.....Alright, give me a minute and I should be able to get this thing up and running...

"I'll help, I'll help, I'll help," Schwarz immediately raised his hand, like a little kid and was dramatically waving it around.

"Oh, I fell so much better letting you help alone," Oro rolled his eyes before adding, "Guess it's a team effort. I'll help too."

"Don't leave me out, I want to know how this thing works."

Azriel backs up to give the four their space and begins to watch intently as they put the portal together. "If you guys need any more hands to put things together, just say so." ^_^

Sheena stood beside Azriel to watch as well, folding her arms. In just a short while, we'll be reuniting with another old acquaintance... she thought.

"So, Sheena...what's Kratos like?" Azriel asked, having not been there for that conversation.

Sheena gathered her thoughts for a moment, bearing a neutral expression. "I found him...kind of a shifty character when we first met. In fact, I didn't trust him all that much. He actually...betrayed us a couple of times...on that journey..."

Azriel's eyes went wide as she felt some sort of twitch coming from Chiaro. "H-he did...?"

"Don't get me wrong! I mean, he did, but he really was a good guy in the end, and I believe he's atoned for what he's done. I figure there were just some things on his end that were pretty tough to sort out. Anyway, I think we strayed away from the point. Overall...he was mostly calm and collected. Stoic."

"Ah. I see..." She stroked her chin, returning her attention to the assembly of the portal. "It's just...fortunate someone like me wasn't around on your journey. C-Chiaro...isn't one to take treachery well. She would've gone ballistic before things could be given a chance to straighten out..."

Oro had tried to listen to the conversation being held as he helped put together the portal. He heard little snippets of it, one of which was about Chiaro and the leveling of Meltokio, His eyes immediately jumped to his brother, images began to fill his mind of past experiences of Schwarz losing himself to anger... all the killing, all the blood, all the- "Oro? Is something wrong?" Raine asked, "You suddenly started staring off into the distance."

Oro snapped back to reality, and noticed Schwarz was looking at him, he quickly turned to Raine, "I'm just contemplating how I'll get along with this Kratos... what was your impression of him Raine?" In the back of his mind, he kept thinking those thoughts of death.

Raine thought for a moment. "Strong... Smart... cold to a certain degree, then again... For someone his age... he's overall... trustworthy. I think you two are kind of alike in a way, except your more open with your emotions."

"I'm not sure what to say to that." he sweatdropped, and continued on with his work.
