Gambler gave a slight pout. "You don't trust me Kalore? Or are you afraid of losing? It's okay. I understand that you might want to watch how I do things but where's the fun in that? Risk is more fun." She shuffled the cards and organized the chips of everyone, putting them in nice stacks.

Kyoshi moved, stiffly and slowly to rest against a broken down wall. His wings wrapped slightly around him in a protective cocoon. From far away his wings were amazing but up close, two of them were not at the same size as the others because they hadn't heal fully. He rested his head back, feeling drained, tired and weak.

Kyoshi flinched at the sound of Dusk's voice. He was shocked and looked at her with wide eyes. He soon erased it and just looked ahead of him. "Yes. Now go." He didn't need her here. Especially in this dangerous place. Who know if there was going to be another attack. He didn't want Dusk to get caught up in this.

Gambler watched the exchange. "I think I'm going to have to agree with Eldin. I think you are a afraid to lose, Kalore. Come on. What's the worst you can lose?" She grinned at him. She had a lot of valuable things here that she could bet away but in the end she would get them back. She had a way of getting everything she betted back with the best hand in the poker world.

Joker placed the steaks on a plate and put them to the side. He checked the lasagna and then began to clean up the pans. He had to wait for the rice and then think about the dessert. "Rave? Could you do me a favor and make the salad. I think I'm going to do two desserts." Joker had to in mind that would make both Gambler and the elves happy. He hoped.

Gambler looked up at Rave. "No onions." Then she returned her attentions to both Eldin and Kalore and laughed softly at the blonde elf. "Life is about making and taking risks. What could you be possiably betting that would be too precious?" She had a few jewelery and Monty's precious weapon collection and Joker's meds. Then there was her guys in general. She could bet with them. That wasn't a bad idea.

Joker gave a thankful glance at Rave and quickly started to work on the desserts. It was hard to pick which ones so he was going to make three of them.

Kyoshi closed his eyes. "Obviously it does hurt and that I look like hell, Dusk. Care to point out anything else that is obvious?" He was turning back into the grouch he was. He was in pain and he knew he looked worst that hell. He just didn't want her here looking at him like this. Kyoshi's wings wrapped around him, covering him from her view.

Kyoshi scooted away. "Damn it just go already. Your going to get involved. Your going to get hurt just go." Within his cocoon of wings he was waving her away. "I can heal just fine." He growled. He didn't need anyones help, including Dusk's.

Gambler nodded in understanding. She shuffled the cards again, passing them out. "I hope you know how to play goldfish." She said looking from behind her cards.

Gambler was looking at her cards intently. She had two Aces, a Queen, a ten and a four. Hearing that Dusk was back, she didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. She thought about folding and hitting the road because there could be a chance that Dusk wanted to murder her for what she did. She shrugged. Death had to come at some point. She looked over at the salad and snatched a lettuce, munching on it. "This is good."

Kyoshi slowly got up and staggered. He jumped off the edge of the building, flying to his apartment with whatever energy he had left. When he got to his place he collasped and just layed on the floor. He closed his eyes, tired. He would heal through his sleeping, his wings spread on top of him to keep warm.

Joker looked up from his bowl. "I'm on it." He said and went to open the door. "You made it just in time for dinner. Go wash your hands and meet everyone in the kitchen." He said like he was the mother and returned back to the kitchen and stirred the bowl some more.

Gambler looked at the elf with an innocent look. "Nope. Go fish." She smiled at him. 'Hehehehe. I got you know my adorable friend.' She thought while smiling brightly at him.

Nodding to Dusk as a greeting she grumbled a few words that weren't nice, handing over the cards. She shot a glare at Rave. "You Sir Rave need to learn how to have fun. Besides, it's not lying. It's a strategy." She looked at her cards with sadness. "I'm never taking you out to play cards with the guys. You will be my downfall and I will cease to be called Gambler. I will be called....." "Cheater!" Gambler nodded sadly. "You would be any cardholders curse." She sniffled a bit.

Joker laughed and checked the lasagna. It was almost ready to be served and the rice was ready too. He just needed to put his yellow cake in the oven and make the fruit salad for dessert.
