Verin grinned. "Oh, there's more to my story all right. I had to keep myself busy while I wasn't in school after all...I taught myself all the magic I know. I came upon new spells by experimenting, but the experiments were often costly. I've got the scars to prove it. I trained alone, and at the time I didn't know Orthae had been excelling in White Magic. I had run-ins with creatures that would put all the ones around Ria to shame. I occasionally tried combining spells to see the effect. A lot backfired, some were successful. I returned home every now and then." Verin looked away toward the machine that was still fixing their food. In a sort of disembodied voice, he kept going. "One day, when I was at home...I found one of my father's old spellbooks. It was covered in dust and cobwebs, and the pages were yellow with age. It was filled with ancient doomsday spells that could cause some serious damage and some that could even bring about an actual apocalypse. I was writing them down...but I only managed to copy three before mom walked in and took the book from me. I hid the paper before she saw it, and I spent the next year perfecting the spells. I found out that two of them would drain almost all of my energy to cast, required an incantation, and were incredibly powerful. I tried the third one one day, but I found out the hard way that when I was only two-thirds of the way through the incantation and I had already drained most of my energy like with the first two. I stopped the incantation; I knew that if I finished it, the energy drainage would kill me. The ancient spells are famous, and feared by many, the names may sound familiar to you..." Verin looked back at the girls. "I learned how to use Meteor..." Orthae's eyes widened, recognizing one of the many forbidden spells. "...Flare..." Orthae had a bit of a worried look on his face; he had never known his brother was capable of such terrible power. "...and Giga Flare. They're three of the most ancient black magic spells, some of the first ever created..." Orthae coughed. "Verin, are you serious? You learned those spells? You know as well as I do that father told us they were forbidden and never to be performed since the history of their making!" Verin looked over at his brother, his arms crossed on the table. "Relax. They're my last resort options. I swore to myself that I would never use them unless the need arose. And so far...it hasn't."

Kira stepped into the dinning hall, still frustrated about a cell phone call. He didn't have is masamune sheathed or anything, he was still holding onto it tightly. Kira walked to the food dispencer and swipped his card, ordering a 12 ounce steak and some ramen noodles. He grabbed the tray and headed to a table. Kira sheathed his blade and put the tray down, sitting right after.

Sakura and Raine listened to Verin's story intently. Sakura had never really heard of the spells he was talking about, however something to her that they were more dangerous than he was leading them to believe. She planned to later perhaps do some research on these dangerous spells, just to see what kinds of destruction they could have. Raine motioned for the others to look and pointed out that they're food was on its way. She smiled, it had sure taken them long enough to make they're entire meal up. Long enough that both Sakura's and Raine's stomachs were grumbling and begging for food.

Kira finished everything on his tray. He was hungry from his intense spiritual training outside of the school campus. He stood, picking up his tray and bringing it to the counter. He left the dinning hall and left for the northern courtyard.

Shiori looked up again as she found herself in the dining hall now. "We're not going to the training hall?" she asked, tilting her head back so she could see Arashi's face. She blinked curiously a couple times until she caught the scent of food and turned to look around. "It... smells good," she said, sounding slightly surprised as her head tilted slightly, looking at the machine where they placed their orders. She hadn't eaten in quite a while, since she'd walked the distance to get here and had run out of the supplies she'd brought for the trip. She'd actually been too eager to explore the campus to think to get something to eat. So, she couldn't really complain this was where they ended up either, though she was still curious as to why he'd changed his mind.

He looked at her as he set her down on her feet. He looked around before he looked foreward. He too hadn't anything to since he was here and he was quite hungery. He looked at her and noded slightly before speaking. "I came here because I hadn't anything to eat and I am guessing you are aswell. So lets go grab a bite to eat and the after we finish we could head to the Training Hall. Who knows, I might even train you there too." He rubbed he back of his head and stuck out his tongue. He began to walk towards the the line as he looked for Shiori hopeing she hadn't gotten' lost already.. 'Where'd she go.....? Crap..... hope she isn't lost, there is too many scents here to be able to find her.' He mumbled to himself before he saw her again and sighed lightly.

Shiori glanced back at him and then smiled. "Well, you've guessed right," she said with a laugh, tilting her head as he mentioned training her. She knew she probably needed it but... She didn't really have any special abilities to help her fight. She could simply heal herself if she was injured, or others if they'd allow her. It had to be done by directly touching the other person. She blinked a couple times as he stuck his tongue out, and then stuck hers out in return, wrinkling her nose playfully. As he began moving forward, she followed quickly, debating in her mind what she'd like to eat.

'Knowing Shiori-chan, she'd probably be hard to train,' he looked to his claws and towards her own. 'Hmm, thats it. If I help her develop her speed then she could be able to fend for herself or maybe help me in a battle or two.' He smiled at her. "Shiori, if I helped you develop your speed and show how you should use your claws then you will be able to fight in an actual battle. I could lend you one my own powers and you could that for the time being untill you learn how to develop your own." He rubbed her head lightly and smiled towards her.

Shiori blinked at him in curiosity. "You can lend others your powers?" she asked, sounding amazed. She hadn't known that was possible. She held her hands up as she stared at her claws for a moment and then back to him. "I guess that... would be ok," she slowly agreed. She didn't really know what to expect, but it would definitely be a good thing if she learned to better fend for herself. She hadn't really gotten into any fights before, but based on what had just happened in the courtyard a few moments ago, it seemed they were hard to avoid here. Or maybe it was just because she was in Arashi's company. But she didn't really mind all too much, as long as nothing too serious happened. She didn't really know what she was getting herself into though.

"Yup, for me it is pretty easy. So what will you want to learn first? After all I mean, I could teach you what you want to know or what all I know." He rubbed her head lightly before he stopped to move up in the line. He looked at her as he awaited her answer. 'Knowing Hieii, Thai left already. Wonder where he is now, he better not be in the training room. But wait, where is Akiio. I haven't seen him since I called him into the South Courtyard. That is odd, usually I would've seen him but I guess I didn't.' His ears twitched abit as he wagged his tail alittle.

Shiori blinked a couple times, and then frowned thoughtfully. "I'm not really... sure..." she admitted slowly. She didn't really know of any specific techniques or anything. She was completely clueless when it came to things like that. She only knew to use her quickness to evade if needed, though she really hadn't found a need to yet. She closed her eyes for a moment as he pet her head again and then stepped up behind him in the line, her ears perked alertly and her tail flicking slowly behind her. "Is Hieii-san alright?" she asked suddenly, a little bit of worry showing in her face. She guessed he was, since Arashi seemed to be fine as well, but she couldn't help asking. She hadn't seen him really fight or anything, so she didn't know how skilled he was.

His right shoulder started to bleed alittle. "He is done, it seems that he actually forced Thai to leave. He was hit but it didn't effect him," points to the wound on his shoulder. "Doesn't seem to be anything that dangerous. It should heal quickly, he is probably back in the training room." He smiled with a reassureing look on his face. He looked toards the window as he sighed abit. 'Too many things are happening here. Emotional problems, changeing forms, fighting alot. Why did I come here?' He sighed to himself as he thought widely.

Shiori's eyes widened in alarm as the scent of blood reached her nose and leaned towards him to try seeing better. Her ears flattened back slightly as she looked up at him next, frowning slightly. "Well, I could heal it instantly," she pointed out with a nod of her head, but didn't do anything yet. She waited to see if he'd allow her to first. She blinked again as she saw him look towards the window and looked towards it as well, as if trying to see if something interesting was there. She didn't see anything though, so her gaze shifted towards the various people around the dining hall, and then back to him again.

"Yes, you can. i would glad if you did." He smiled to her before he looked at everyone else. They were next in line so he grabbed him and tray and her aswell. He put a few things on his tray before he waited for Shiori. His moved to the food then to someone else. 'Damnit Hieii, what have we done half of our lives with Akiio. We should have done it and I know that. We did it and we got the consiquence. Why did it have to be this way though, I hate it this way and you know it. I cannot let you die on me and you the same. I feel like we are brothers.'
