Terry indeed blocked the strike, and then brought his right foot-- the one he had been using to kick--down in front of his enemy's left foot. Pivoting and simultaneously shifting his staff to his right hand hand, he brought his left elbow back toward Prometheus's face.

Alcina watched him leave with a small smile on her face as well. Her smile faded when she turned away and began to dissapear. Now...she needed to go check in on X. Find out just what was going on.

There was no way that Prometheus could get away from the hit entirely; it had been too well planned out. All he could do was lean away from it, to make it slightly more of a glancing shot, but not by much. Prometheus' left foot also shot to the inside of Terry's right leg, trying to kick the leg out from under him.

It worked... sort of. Terry managed to hook his foot behind his enemy's knee as he fell, and as he hit the ground he put his free foot just over the front part of his ankle. Then he pulled with the foot hooked behind the knee and pushed with the one over the ankle.

CRACK!
There was no mistaking what that sound meant. Prometheus fell onto the ground, holding his knee. He didn't scream or yell, though; other than a couple growls, he was silent. His face read pure anger.

Terry got to his feet with the kind of abrupt grace that the original Batman was so feared for. "Whoops." He hadn't gotten to try out his theory. ... Oh, well.

Prometheus kept grunting, then it became apparent what was going on: he wasn't agonising over it, he was pressing it back into place. With another, louder CARCK!, the knee was just about as good as new. Gripping the sword again in one hand, Prometheus slowly stood up again. "You're giving me more trouble than Superman ever has," he commented.

Terry just stared for a second. The only other person he could imagine doing something like that was... Wayne. That did not bode well. "Good." Surprisingly enough, he collapsed his staff down to portable size, and then put it away. The next second, he reached down to his belt... and vanished. Completely.

"Hm." Cloaking technology. Interesting twist. Prometheus closed his eyes and opened his mouth slightly, to breathe lightly through the mouth. This technique allows for slightly better hearing, which was neccesary to accomodate for this new wrinkle. He also sheathed his sword again; in a situation like this, he stood more of a chance of hurting himself than his opponent.
(( I figured I'd pop the knee back in place, to show one of many reasons why Prometheus is considered a dark reflection of Batman ))

Nothing happened. There wasn't a sound, or any sign of movement. Nothing.

Slowly, Prometheus adopted a defensive stance. He couldn't see his opponent, so therefore there was no need to try to rush it.

Still nothing. Nothing... Noth-- Someone's fist drove in toward the back of Prometheus' skull, and considering the suit's strength enhancing properties... Although Terry was holding back. He didn't want to kill the man.

(( It certainly does ))
Prometheus was seeing plenty of stars, even falling to one knee, but he didn't quite go unconscious. After a second, he performed a full circle leg sweep, expecting to hit nothing; he'd given his target more than enough time to back off while recovering.

He got exactly what he expected... except that the nothing was quickly followed by an axe kick to the back of the shoulder.

Prometheus didn't feel that blow very much; there was too much armor protecting that part of him. He very slowly started to get up; that punch in the back of the head HURT.
