The short trainer nodded. "I can understand that. Well, she's certainly doing a good job of it, I think." He put a couple more cookies on the ground for Jaidev to eat, knowing she wouldn't eat them out of his hand, and shoved a few into Basil's mouth, who gratefully gobbled them up and barked happily. He clambered into the wagon and picked up his backpack...only to find it felt much lighter. After a quick rummaging he found the cupcakes and beef jerky he'd brought had disappeared, and he sighed. He noticed that Alastair had looked a bit flustered, and figured that Con had helped Ryou devour the snacks. "Think they had a good meal?" He joked, wondering where the closest store was. He'd have to stock up again before they left.

"Oh, thank goodness, civilization at last!" Fin exclaimed, sliding herself out of the wagon with Caddie in her arms. They'd be able to get fresh food, and maybe even sleep in a real bed tonight.
Their first stop was the Pokémart, where Fin picked up a packaged salad for her own dinner and a few Poffins for Caddie's. The trainer found a bench in the shade of a group of trees, and she sat one it, pulling the Delibird up beside her. As the two ate, Fin scanned the area, looking for a hotel or something similar that they could stay in for the night.

Systematic Sparta "Let's look up some entertainment! We can snack the entire time." He chuckled, watching out for Aimi as she walked backwards. "Oh! We should also try and get a hotel room before others take them all." Though really she was just thinking of camping out again, to save herself some money. "Anything specific you want to try and find to entertain ourselves?"

Too late for pretending not to notice now, since Kazuki had clearly noticed the missing foodstuffs. Looking thoroughly flustered---a very unusual event for the normally calm young man---Alastair rubbed the back of his neck. “I’m sorry about that… I should have been keeping a closer eye on Con. He’s normally very good at not getting into food and everything…” but, then again, when he was with Ryou, his criminal genes seemed to surface or something. Or mischief genes, perhaps. “Look, I’ll pay for everything he ate, alright? I’ll make it up to you somehow.”
At least they were in a town, so such supplies could be easily replaced.

As she opened the store door, a little bell rang, alerting the workers in shop. It was a small shop, nothing too fancy and it's how she liked it or feels more at home. In a corner of the shop, there was a sleeping Skitty in what looks like a comfortable bedding with a few scattered toys around it.
Smiling, Kayla quietly approached the desk and was greeted by a dark green short-haired girl that looked a bit older than her. She was wearing a cute little scrub that had little Noctowls wearing glasses. " Welcome to Vision Corner. How can I help you, m'am?"
"Kayla cleared her throat. "Ah, yes. I had my sunglasses slightly damaged and I would like it repaired please. And if it is at all possible, within the next hour or so?"
The receptionist started typing into the computer as she spoke. "Have you been here before?"
"Ah, no, m'am I have not." Kayla replied meekly.
The young lady smiled at her as she looked up. "That's alright. I kinda figured you are a tourist. A pokemon trainer, yes?" Kayla nodded. "My that's a facinating career. Well anyway, where is this sunglasses you wanted us to fix?"
"Oh!" Kayla went digging into her bag again and fished out the sunglasses. The earpiece was pretty beaten up and chewed on and the nose piece was mising.
The recepionist looked at the sunglasses carefully and smiled up at Kayla. "This doesn't look that bad. We can get it done right now. It will take about 30 minutes. Would you like to wait or come back to pick it up?"
"I think I will come back later for it." Kayla went into her bag again for a piece of paper and pen. "Here's my number. Please call me if I don't make it when you are done with it."
"Sure will! I guess we will see you soon." With that the receiptionist went back into area where only employees were allowed to start fixing her glasses and that was the signal for Kayla to leave and find something to do while she waited for her sunglasses to get fixed.

Day slid off Alex, still a bit queasy from riding on him. He barked once, sat down and wagged his bushy tail.
"Oh, right, here you go, buddy!" Day said, handing him his favorite snack, a chocolate chip cookie. He snatched it up and crumbs spilled out of his mouth as he gratefully chomped away. "Now how about we go find a hotel with a good restaurant?" She suggested. Alex howled in agreement.
The nearest hotel was nice, with a pool for the summer, and a spa if one needed to relax. Their room fit all of them comfortably, although Day had to let Faith and Cosmo sleep in her bed because Alex took up the other one. They all ran downstairs, ravenous, to find that what the hotel lacked was a fancy place to eat.
"Rai, rai, raichu!" Faith complained, frantic to find food. She ran over to the grass patch outside the hotel and scavenged for fallen berries, only coming up with a shriveled old one.

"Ah~ Motterosa!" Renekai said, wandering down a street. "Let's get some new supplies! Good thing I brought plenty of money!" Renekai smiled and winked a Bell, who was waddling at her side. Renekai went into lots of shops, buying a bag, hairbrush, toothbrush and toothpaste, and a few other things. Having left everything at home, Renekai was in desperate need. As she walked around some more, she brushed her hair and teeth, earning some stares from the citizens. Bell was a little embarrassed to have such an odd trainer.
Renekai paused in her brushing to look at a pretty bracelet. The sign advertised it being made from pure 24 karat gold, woven into a fine gold chain. "Ooh..." Renekai said as she stared at it. "It's so pretty... And expensive!" Renekai had just spotted the price on the sign. Despite the fact that she had no where near enough money for it, Renekai looked at it until Bell grabbed her pant leg and tugged, telling Renekai to get going. Renekai walked away, brushing her hair and teeth again. "This town sure is great!" Renekai said to Bell, spraying a little toothpaste as she spoke. Bell rolled her eyes.

When Kayla exited the store, her stomach started to grumble and growl in anger. She clutched at her stomach and winced. Her pokemon, who were waiting outside of the store looked up at her and they too felt their own stomachs growling and gave her pleading eyes.
Smiling weakly. "Why don't we get something to eat, hmm?" With that, they went into the nearest stand that served hot dogs, fries, chips and then some to satisfy her stomach. She was sure they had things for pokemon too. Maybe they could have some ice cream for dessert. Mhmm. Quote: Goes off to eat for real. Later guys! XD

Meeka stared and the key dumbfounded. "Whoops!" she laughed at herself. Ebba trotted next to her and so did Heila. But again, her Pokegear rang. "Hello?" Meeka said. "Haiiiiiiiiii Big Sis!" she the voice. It was Medley. "So can you tell me what pokemon you got meeeeeeee?" Meeka smiled as she put the Pokegear up to Heila. Heila barked a "Houndd!" into the Pokegear while Meeka told her sister, "Guess." Medley stayed silent for a moment and said, "A HOUNDOUR?!" she examclaimed. "Yep." replied Meeka. Medley giggled as she asked her sister, "Yay! Is it shiny? Or is it differently colored?" Meeka sighed. "Nope." she replied. Medley stayed quiet once more before yelling at her sister. "WHAT THE HELL?! DIDN'T I ASK FOR A DIFFERENTLY COLORED POKEMON? GOSH SIS, IF YOU WEREN'T SUCH A DUNCE I WOULDN'T HAVE TO RAISE MY VOICE. YOU ARE SUCH A DAMN BI-" Meeka quickly shut off the phone on her Pokegear. Enough of her sister. She had such a mouth.

"Wow, there are a lot of trainers coming through here. Are you all on a trip or something."
"Yup. A fossil excavation to be exact." Piney was talking to the lady at a desk, who was trying to start up a conversation while checking availible rooms in the hotel.
"That's so neat! Anyway, we have a room on the second floor."
"I'll take it." She cringed at the price of the room, but she would rather pay up and sleep in a real bed for once than stay in a tent again. After all, when was the next time they were going to stop at a town?
"Have a nice day!" The lady chirped as she gave her the keys. Piney sighed and started heading towards the rented room.
((Gonna disappear for a bit. Bye everyone~))

"Mmm... Let's get some food, Bell!" Renekai said as she heard her stomach growl. She started wandering around the city some more, satisfied with her brushing. Now everything was stored in her new bag, which was slung over her shoulder. Renekai suddenly came upon three outside cafes where she could eat with Bell. "Oh no! How will we decide which one to go to? ..... I know! Eeny meeny miny mo, catch a Growlithe by the toe... If it hollars, let it go... Eeny meeny miny mo!" Renekai headed confidently towards the restaraunt on the right, her finger having been pointed at it when she had said her last 'mo'. Bell trailed behind, wondering how much wierder a trainer could be...
"One grilled cheese sandwich, one serving of pokechow, and two glasses of water, please!" Renekai said happily to the cashier. As she was repeating the order to the cooks, Renekai whispered to Bell, "I'll share my sandwich if you share your pokechow!" Bell rolled her eyes for the umpteenth time that day. Renekai was so wierd, although Bell wouldn't mind having some sandwich. In a few minutes, Renekai was carrying the food to a table and sat down. Bell sat across from her, and they began to eat. After a bite or two, Renekai decided that pokechow was definately for the pokemon.

((HURRAH! So many wagon ones out! 8D But I wanna go play with Bun~ xP *SHOT* If that's okay with her, of course. o3o ))
A gray-haired trainer got off wagon number one, stretching her legs and then checking the numerous pains she had in her joints to see if there was any damage to worry about, Fortunately, she was uninjured. Somehow. It was miraculous, considering the number of bruises she now had.
Lamen wandered a little farther off, carrying her bag and gulping down water from a bottle. She would do almost anything for a refreshing smoothie about now... maybe she could find an ice cream parlor. Was she glad to be back in a city... despite the beauty of far off places during her travels, after a while, she always had a thirst for civilization. Spending too much time away from humans was bad for her, as she would often have to relearn how to be... well, social.
Spotting Renekai, Lamen couldn't help but grin and wave. "Heyy. Need a hotel room?" The traveller waved a card- a platinum Jumpluff Hotel card. "I can spare the points for a free room for us, if you'd like." EDIT: BUNNI IS OFFLINE. RENE, I ARPEE WITH YOOO!

The two hour ride had been bumpy and no less painful than the previous day's but now it was over...at least for the time being. Stretching with a yawn, Cassadaine rose from her seat on the wagon and began to make her way out of it, with Astrel clinging to her shoulder. A city meant hotels...hotels meant beds...and beds usually meant some place other than the ground or the wagon to sleep in. Well a bed to sleep in, if one could get a room.
Grabbing her bag, Cassadaine began to make a beeline for the nearest hotel. If she was lucky the others hadn't taken all the good rooms though...she could afford to pay for one of the more expensive rooms...she rather not have her parents calling her cellphone and badgering her about the charges to the credit card or even about the cash withdrawals. She had enough to worry about.
Popping into one of the hotels, she moved toward the reception counter, forcing a smile onto her tired face. "I'd like to get a room please." she said brushing her ebony hair behind one ear, as the woman behind the desk studied her carefully.
"How long?" The woman asked shuffling over to the computer.
"Just for the night."
Muttering something the woman looked up at the teenager, "It's $100 and I need your name and the payment now please."
"The name's Cassadaine Stephens, and..." she began fishing around in her pocket for her money or the credit card since the thing would save her a lot of trouble.
"I'll be paying for the room, miss." The voice had Cassadaine stiffening gradually and Astrel chittered crawling up to sit on his trainer's shoulder and stare at the person behind her.
The woman behind the counter didn't even seem to notice the rapidly tensing situation as she took the money and set the key on the counter with a, "Room 4B second floor." and resumed whatever she had been doing before Cassadaine had entered.
Grabbing the key she turned away from the counter with Astrel still chittering on her head, and the young man following her. "I don't need your help, Alexander." she muttered under her breath as she began climbing the stairs. There were several things in this world that could piss Cassadaine off greatly. Those stupid Rockets...and her brother. And what'd you know? He fell into both categories!
"Aww come on Cass, aren't you going to at least look at your older brother and give him a hug?"
Always whinning...always eternally whining. Spinning on her heel on the landing, she scowled at her older brother before her left hand lifted of its own accord and made its way across the pale cheek of the young man before her. "Hello, Alexander." With that Cassadaine stomped off to her room, leaving her brother stunned on the staircase with a rapidly reddening brusie.
Unlocking the door to her room, she stepped inside with Astrel hurrying after her before slamming the door shut behind her and locking it. If the slap hadn't been enough of a hint for him, and he was still hanging around there when she decided she needed to get out then she'd deal with him...again.
