((Thanks for the translation with that one, Kiki. I caught a cold on Christmas, and my mind's a little on the hazy side right now. Would not have been able to make that out on my own.))
"Sorry, hun, Hannibal's got the Ying Yo-Yo and the Yang Yo-Yo," Jack replied, trying to think what would fight shadows best. "All I got are the Monkey Staff, Reversing Mirror, Changing Chopsticks, and Serpent's Tail. We need the majority of the Wu we got back in my world." He caught the glance from Nina, giving a quick smile back.
In Hotstreak's mind, nothing got rid of shadows but light. Fire made light, and before electricity people used fire to see in the dark. Why shouldn't fire hurt it? "Here goes..." he stated, wanting to give the team more warning this time in case someone was trying something at the same time. Wouldn't want to screw up someone else's attack again. He threw a fireball, giving it decent power, but it wasn't one of his strongest attacks. If the thing could reflect this one, he wanted to be ready to catch it.
"Hey, I got that angel dude," Etna commented. "He'd probably be good fighting that thing, right?"
Fighting creatures of darkness was something Kain was familiar with. Fighting something made from shadows... not so much. Would a physical attack work, or would it simply phase through this enemy? If it could, then did it have to focus to turn to shadows, as he focused to turn to mist? He decided to wait for a different group member to give that a shot...

Oomizu sighed and pouted at the horrable news. "Stupid bean... Well, if we do end up kidnapping Kagome then I guess I'll just have to be careful and make my purification stronger than her's." She smiled to Nina like she hadn't said anything wrong before waving to them both and running back over towards Hitomi.
Kikyo just so hapened to be nearby when she heard that. She turned her head, looked to Jack, sighed once, shook her head, and went back to focusing on the demon. Of course Oomizu would turn good to do bad.

((lol wow Maverick is up and at em early in the morning in a weekend! WTF the world is comming to an end! O NOES!!! and a small explination about shadows *yes the demon is fused with the power of shadows from Minato's world =D i thought it would be interesting to bring in.... a good challenge, Shadows only have one or two sure weaknesses.... most of the times. so =D )) Minato looked over to Etna "im not sure, Fuuka would know for sure what the enemies weakness is.... that is if it even has one....I wouldnt use any dark magic on it it seems to be enfused with it. so maybe your angle guy might work on him.... just dont use any death skills on him and you should be ok"Nina Looked over at Oomizu "How about a spell, Nina is sure you can make a spell that will bring out the good in you" Inuyasha looked at the demon, the aura comming from it was amazing. "Are we just ganna stand here or are we ganna go and kick that thing's a**!" he said as he started rushing at the demon.Croix grinned "bout time! here i come!!Infinity Thrust!!!!"The demon took Croix's attack with ease, his peircing attack was completely blocked by the shadow's arms

((Hahahahahahahahah!!! Sorry, but when I watched that video Mav... "Maximum Penetration!" Haha, Wow, I am so immature. xD))
Temari was never very good at attacking shadow monsters. Well, the most experience she had with such things were how Shikamaru would use people's shadows to isolate them. But that was all she could think of at the moment. She just decided to play it defensively for now, since she had no light powers to think of at the moment.
Hitomi noticed Oomizu running in her direction, her hands continuing to stay aglow because of her powers. She then turned around and sighed gently, "What's wrong Oomizu?" She asked lightly, trying to stay on guard in case of another attack.
Rosette blinked at the demon before sighing. She then reloaded her guns with Gospel, which are bullets that are made out of alchemical silver that are littered with gospel verses. It had to have been one of the more, if not the most, holy bullet ever created. She then took aim at the demon before sending forth a barrage of bullets, hoping that the holy power would affect and weaken him.
Kirara flew up and charged up a blast of her astral powers that she had received from Chrono. She then fired her green flames at the demon, trying to cause him to submit.
((Also, Mav, the first page is starting to get all jumbled 'cause there are old profiles from people with their pix missing and stuff, if you want me to help you fix it up, I would be happy to help! 4laugh ))

Inuyasha grinned as he unleashed his attack "WIND SCAR!!" he yelled as he fired a blast at the demon.
The demon didnt even flinch, and in a blur it was behind Inuyasha in a instant, it slashed its sword down and just missed with its attack
"What is this thing made of!" Inuyasha growled

(( lol yes, im more so during..... certain seasons of the year XD namely winter. XD SOoooooooooooo moving on XD lol that dirty person reminded me of that episode of futurerama when that bureaucrat came and took over the place they work at and shes like "Dirty boy! dirty dirty dirty!".... im amused by simple things..... XP ))
Inuyasha looked over at Temari "Dont worry, this things to slow for me" he winked and fibbed
Minato activated his Dominian persona. "Dominian!" he yelled as he concentrated on a light attack "Holy arrow!"
The demon took the arrow and some damage from the impact, however it was very little and almost un noticable. It then recived the fire blast from Hotstreak and absorbed the attack and fired it back at the metahuman.
"Damit.... its ganna be a tough one..." Minato growled Fire will not work it will only kill you faster if you use it!"
Nina looked through her spells to find something that would work

((Haha yeahhh. Hey, would Rosette's holy bullets work on the thing? I would think so since they're like purified and stuff. But I posted her attack twice and there was still no change because of it...))
"Uh huh, yeah, sure." Temari said with her arms crossed over her chest. She then sighed before she opened her fan and jumped up into the air. She then whipped her fan around before she sent a large wave of energy at the demon. It looked similar to Inuyasha's 'Wind Scar', but it had a different aura to it since she had interlaced the wave with another wave that she had created from her own chakra.
Motoko looked at the demon from the ship, gasping lightly. "That thing is made of shadows..." She the brought some shadows into her hand, in a sphere. "His aura is similar to the powers I obtained here."

((im sorting through the attacks right now =D dont worry ill post the response now =P ))
The demon was hit by Kirara's green flames, it blocked it with the sword and repelled it back at the demon. it grinned but the grin was quickly changed as it was hit by both the Bullets from Rosette, and the blast from Temari, the blast from Temari stung the demon but just caused a few small scratches, however the bullets from Rosette acctually chipped off parts of the armor it growled as it phased out and appeared behind the person that caused the most damage to him and swung his sword down as hard as it could on Rosette.
Inuyasha smirked " Your cute when your angry," he winked at her as he jumped up and got next to her "On the count of three im ganna need you to attack me with your strongest attack and ill use a backlash wave to send it flying at the demon. " he told her before letting gravity take him back down to the ground. he started running into position.
Nina noticed how light was affecting the demon "Hmmm Oh this spell should do it! powerful light magic" she smiled as she got ready to use it.

When her flames were repelled back to her direction, Kirara yelped slightly and quickly moved out of the way before she absorbed the astral energy back into her body. She realized that she would have to use a lot of her powers to help in the fight against the demon.
Rosette saw it phase out and sighed slightly, now beginning to pant. Using this time to reload her gun, she loaded it with both Gospels and Sacreds (bullets filled with holy water). But as she noticed the shadow behind her she quickly spun around and jumped out of the way of his blade, barely missing the edge by literally a hair. She then barrel-rolled for a moment before propping herself up on one knee, cocking her guns once before she let loose a barrage of both bullets at the demon, gritting her teeth as she did so.
Temari glanced over at Inuyasha before chuckling to herself. "Yeah, okay babe." She said as she whipped out her fan from under her. She then held it out to the side of her as the wind whipped around her and her clothes. She then began to infuse the wind with chakra, giving it a blueish tint and making it all the more powerful. The wind began to form into a ball of blue chakra (like a rasengan but not exactly lol xD), growling as she did so.

Hotstreak caught his reflected attack with ease, dissipating the fire into nonexistence. Well, fire didn't work... He still had the psychic energy stuff, but he wasn't very good at working with it, yet. Looks like he'd be sticking to defense this fight, which irked him. Seeing the demon about to attack Rosette, the redhead decided now was as good a time as ever, and rushed over, setting up a shield to take the blow: after she attacked, of course. ((Because Dragon posted before I finished typing. xp ))
Gear grabbed one of his zap caps, one of the originals, and waited for a good moment to use it. Sure, it was electricity, but it was also bright. If it was bright enough to stun Ebon, who was a living shadow, it should be bright enough to do something to this thing... He just wanted to make sure no one else would be effected by it, which meant waiting until everyone was a little ways away from the demon.
Physical attacks were useless, it seemed. Kain wondered if a blast of pure energy would work? His telekinetic blasts didn't have any elemental alignment, and because it wasn't a light element, there was a chance it would be reflected... Well, the wind hit it, so he'd give it a try. With the creature's back to him, he shot a telekinetic blast towards it. If it didn't work, he could just go mist form.
"Right! I've not no idea how to make him do what I want!" Etna declared. She got out the invoker anyway, giving a grin to Minato. "Should I give it a shot anyways?"
Jack kept an eye on the battle, ready to assist any of the others if needed. He didn't have any light magic of his own, so he'd focus on keeping the rest of the team safe. It might even be time to actually use one of the Shen Gong Wu he had brought with him... How strange to think he hardly touched them, anymore...

Inuyasha was almost into postition "Ok fire Temari!" he yelled out with a grin
The demon growled as the bullets chipped off more of its armor, its arms from behind extended in a attempt to grab on to her but was reflected by the sheild that was now set up, its arms steamed and burned off as they hit the shield.
Minato nodded "Right, just think of what light looks like and when you summon him he will know what you want and use that magic."
The demon backed off away from hotstreak and the girl and turned to a incomming attack, the attack bearly gave him time to block, the hands that protected him from getting hit by the blast the vampire had sent at him were disintergrated. the demon then forged new arms from his back to replace the ones that had been destroied.
Nina saw her chance, and her computer had her most powerful light spell highlighted. "Here goes nothing!" she said as she pushed the button on her computer, a powerful blast of light erupted right on the chest of the demon, shattering its armor. "YAY! Nina got him!"
The beast roared with rage as the hands covered its chest, the beast's sword then glowed brightly as it lifted it and touched a tree with just the tip, the tree began to dry up and in less then a few seconds, it had turned to dust. It made a rush at Jack ready to strike. it was now but a few feet infront of him about to swing down on him.
"Jack look out!" nina cried
The demon phased out and went across Jack, and appeared infront of Nina, the person that had hurt him the most, the person that needed to get removed from the battle if it hopped to win.... It struck, and thrusted the sword into Nina, it penetrated her stomach and instantly started draining her of her life and drying her up from the inside out.
Inuyasha stopped in his tracks "Nina...!"... he said as he stood in shock.
Laharl was surprised at the sudden speed and rage from the beast 'at this rate we will never get that crest.... o no.... that girl....!'

((Alright everyone, prepare for WALL OF TEXT. Me an' rc set this up some time ago.))
Nina had seen the blade coming. She had seen it coming and she didn't move out of the way. Well, it's not that she didn't necessarily. It's just that she couldn't. She had been frozen in fear. But no. Why would she be frozen in fear? There was nothing for her to be afraid of. She had fought before. Hell, she was pregnant with a rapist's child instead of her own man's. Fear? Psh. No. She couldn't feel fear anymore. She had been through too much. She had done to much. There was no such thing for her anymore.
But then... why hadn't she moved? Why hadn't she avoided the blow? Was she tired of living? Was she tired of having to carry around a child that would remind her of nothing but the pain of being violated? No. No, that wasn't the child's fault. She wouldn't do that to her baby. Was she just tired of being useless? Sure... Jack probably wouldn't say it. He probably wouldn't mention anything about her being a burden, not being able to fight while with child. But she could tell. She could see. She knew he had more thoughts about it. Then again, saying she hadn't moved because of those reasons moved towards the belief that she just wanted to kill herself.
No. No she didn't want to die. She didn't.... Of course she didn't. No! No! She wanted to live! She... wanted to be alive. These thoughts circled her mind as the piercing pain of the blade shocked her body. But she couldn't believe those words herself. Yes she had people, but lately it seemed as if she had been more of a burden than anything. She hadn't screamed at the blade though. Her computer had been knocked from her hands as tears slowly started filling her eyes. Her body... the poison.... She was getting so... so thirsty. Her body was getting harder. The tears fell gently, but the water for them was drying. "Jack...." she whispered as she looked over towards him, "I'm sorry."
"NINA!!!" came a piercing cry, in an octave Jack wasn't aware that he was still able to reach. The sword had cut right through... No! No! This wasn't happening! He was barely aware of himself scrambling forward, eyes wide in shock and fear. It wasn't often that this young man felt fear anymore. When he was younger, yes; almost every single day. But now that he was older, now a man,
he had gradually stopped feeling fear where his own well being was concerned.
But this time was different. This was his Nina! His love! The only woman to have ever fallen in love with him! She was lying there, in pain, crying, dying, and he had done nothing! "Nina! Nina...! Oh gods... No...! No, you can't die!" Jack shouted, voice cracking uncomfortably. Tears were quickly welling up and pouring out before he could realize. He reached a hand out to cup her cheek - when had he knelt down? - and added, "Please... Please don't leave me..." Remembering something, Jack used his other hand to reach into his pocket. "You can't leave... Look..." he plead, pulling a black velvet ring box out for her to see.
There it was. It was almost sick how she had been waiting for it, but she had been. It was like she wasn't dying for a moment. The way she was hearing he screams. Actually, it was like she wasn't even there herself. She wasn't in her body it seemed. She was watching. From an outside place she was watching this. All of this. She was watching the man rush towards the woman. It was getting confusing. Everything in her mind was mixing. There were strands of memories twisting with each other, she couldn't think. Her mind wouldn't let her think as her breaths got shallower.
Her tears were slowly stopping. Not because of the absence of pain, but because of the absence of water in her body. She was using her will power to stop the tears from falling. If she let anymore escape... if any more tears fell from her eyes it would shorten what little time she had left. And now... now that she was looking up at Jack, at the man she loved so much, his tears, his begging, she wanted to be alive. She didn't want to leave him. She wanted to be with him. She would go back home if it would help them. Back home to Ayu-dear... to Rio, to Yuta even. And then she saw it. She saw the box. If she wasn't trying to hold the tears in to conserve water, she would have started sobbing right then. She weakly lifted her hand, clinging it gently onto his shoulder, "Nina... Nina doesn't want to die."
Oh, gods... Her voice, normally so beautiful and even melodious, now sounded so... so hoarse and raspy... Like if she had swallowed sand. "Nina... N-no... No, you're not going to die..." Jack replied, decisively. He shifted just enough so that he could pull his love into a sitting position, leaning against him so she wouldn't have to strain herself at all. He then opened the ring box, and explained, "See? The band... it's platinum... 'cause it's worth more than gold, these days, and... and so are you... a-and I know the diamond is kinda small, b-but it was the biggest pink diamond I could find... and I figured you'd like a pink one better than a plain ol' white one..." He held it close, so she could see. See the solid proof that she just couldn't die.
It was then the albino genius suddenly remembered; a kiss! Love in Quasar had great magical powers! A kiss would surely save Jack's beloved! Yes! He could still help her! Gently, very gently, he turned Nina's face to his, still grinning at his realization. "You're not going to die," he repeated, before gently pressing his lips to hers. He just knew that this would make her okay...
Nina heard him try to reassure her. But she didn't believe him. Of course not.
When you feel your entire body hardening, solidifying, throat getting drier and drier from lack of water, it's hard to believe anything positive. She felt herself being shifted, glad to be at least in her lover's arms for the final moments of her life as she breathed in deeply, inhaling his scent. As creepy as it possibly sounded, she wanted him to be the last scent she smelled before she left. She looked into the ring box, seeing the ring he had for her. A small tear rolled down her face as she realized, she would never be able to wear a wedding dress next to him. She'd never be able to show off that ring. She tried to lean in closer to him, but her body was so weak at this point that she could only tilt slightly.
Then he was grinning? She was confused. Her mind wasn't working right. It was getting too dehydrated. She couldn't make the connection between love and Quasar. She just... couldn't think. The next feeling she experienced was lips against hers, kissing her gently. She wanted to kiss him back, but she couldn't. She was too weak as she felt her body start giving out. One last tear managed to fall, she breathed through the kiss, "Nina loves you, Jack." Then as she felt the kiss, instead of the healing power of love she felt her eyelids grow heavy as she closed them, her breathing slowly coming to a halt as the hand she had been using to clutch onto him fell limp with the rest of her body.
((And now for all my character's reactions.))
What...? It... wasn't working...? "No... No. No! No! No no no no no no no..." Jack babbled, clutching Nina's body tightly. Why!? Why didn't it work!? Damn it, she was pregnant, and that b*****d had even cut through her stomach! He didn't even have the chance to keep part of his beloved! It couldn't be true! She had to be alive, just sleeping! Just passed out from the healing magic! No no no! She couldn't just be dead! He didn't even notice the tears streaming down his face.
With wide eyes, Gear threw the zap cap near the demon, hoping the bright light would stun it at least for a few seconds, so it wouldn't attack. But, holy crap... The poor girl... Poor Jack...
Etna hadn't really known Nina, but that didn't stop her from being absolutely pissed at the monster that killed her. She fired the gun look-alike at herself, the angel she couldn't remember the name of coming forth and charging at the shadow demon, surrounded in a bright light.
Hotstreak watched, wide-eyed. "Holy s**t..." he muttered, unable to help the thought that it could have easily been Hitomi who'd gotten that attack.
Seeing the damage his attack had caused, Kain sent another, more powerful telekinetic blast. The sooner this monster was taken down, the better.

The demon grinned, his attack had worked, the sword now pulsed as it set up a barrier that blocked off the attacks incomming to him, the crest of the sword had fed on the blood of the girl and had increased the power of the demon. it laughed lightly and hoarsely as it turned around back at Jack, and at the disintergrating body of that girl that dared to oppose him. only one attack had acctually distracted him enough to turn around, the vampire's, the hit was strong but it was still blocked, he needed to get rid of him next.
Inuyasha growled but knew it was already to late, it could of easily been him or temari that had gotten hit with that sword, it missed both of them by hairs. the thought sent chills down his spine.
