Funny you should say that, Virgil, because I just recently got San Andreas for my birthday (which was the only present and a random one at that). It's excellent. There is just so much more to do than in Vice City and it's much more realistic in that it's harder to get weapons and easier to die.

My chief issue with Vice City was you can't do chases in cars at level 6 because tanks blow you up if they ********' touch you. So cheap, takes the fun out of going on chases especially since I bothered to do 100%.

I'm still playing through San Andreas, and pretty much the only things I miss is the easier targeting of Vice City (since I have it on the comp) in comparison to the god-awful targeting system of the PS2 (if you can't get a lock-on, there's almost no way to hit that guy blasting you) and also the soundtrack. I'm not a rap/country guy, and I preferred Flash FM or Vrock to the new stations in San Andreas.

Also, I got bored with VC, so I downloaded some mods. Unfortunately, I lost those when my old comp ******** up in the summer. I forgot which ones they were or how to install them, but I remember one with a complete retexturing of every car, skin packs, faster vehicles, a Shopping Cart instead of a Faggio (hehe), the ability to sit down like other NPC's, and (I kid you not) the Twin Towers. I gotta tell you, by car, it takes like 15 minutes to actually climb the tower since you can't fly that high. Your reward for getting to the top of the spiral ramp is being able to jump to the top of the other tower to see a poster of Osama and a bulls-eye on his head. Of course, that can't rival the awesomeness of jumping off the tower. It's just so epic to see Tommy flail all the way down there and survive with only like 50 out of his 200 armor and 200 HP or via car where you land on four wheels with a perfectly fine vehicle.
