Edward looked down to Kirara and tried to give a comforting smile. "I-it's alright Kirara. If they were to take you some where, it'd be to help you since you got hurt real badly earlier. Besides, they're my friends, so that means you can trust them since I don't really make friends easily." Ed looked up to Lum and got this look on his face that was easy to read his thought. "God, if you exsist, PLEASE don't make me deal with TWO freaked out women at once!!!" "Calm down, Lum. I'm sure Doctor Cox has a reasonable explaination for all of this." He turned his head away from Lum and Kirara and mouthed the words "Help me" with a desperate look.

Kirara glanced back at Lum and Dr. Cox once more before her gaze returned to that of Ed's. "O-Okay Edward-kun, I trust you." She replied softly as her ears and tail perked up once more, her tail beginning to sway back and forth gently now.
Lum continued to stare until something clicked. "Amnesia!" She exclaimed as she smiled back to Ed. "Something that I remember from Earth is that there are times when one who has a head injury might develop something called 'amnesia,' which is a condition that causes the injured to have memory loss."

Ed looked to Lum and sighed with relief for some sort of an answer before smiling down to Kirara. "See, they're more helpful than I am. I couldn't even think of that to explain why you can't remember them...." He was silent as he thought of something before his head suddenly dropped out of depression. "I must have let your head hit the floor when the ship crashed after all... I'm sorry Kirara."

Kirara giggled lightly as she hugged Ed even closer to her, pressing her lips to his cheek in a kiss before she pulled back once more. "No need to be sorry Edward-kun, I could never be mad at you." She told him as she grinned, showing the more innocent yet playful side of her now.
Lum couldn't help but snicker at this act of compassion from Kirara towards Ed. "Oh Ed, isn't that what you've always wanted? A sign of affection from Kirara?" She asked of him as she continued to hold her child to her chest, giggling at the little joke that she had made.

Ed went blank for a few seconds after Kirara had kissed his cheek before he blushed a light red... It wasn't until he saw the expression on Kirara's face and what Lum said that he blushed such a bright red that it was a miracle he didn't collapse or have a nose bleed on the spot. "Th-thanks Kirara. Uh, umm, w-well- uh- we need to find a way to get your memory back Kirara. A-after all, there's a really big battle coming up and i-it's not safe to, you know, not be certan and.. stuff..."

Kirara became a tad confused at his expression, her smile fading at the sight of his red face. "U-Um, okay Edward-kun." She said as she loosened his grip on his coat, becoming a tad embarrassed with her own actions now. "I-I'm sorry for embarrassing you Edward-kun, I-I didn't mean to..." She told him as she began to blush a light pink as well, looking down to the ground now.
"Oh wow, now that's just adorable." Lum mused with a light giggle before she looked back to Dr. Cox. "Do you think she would grow out of it? Or will she need to be hit on the head again to have it help?"

((HAH! Cute and fluffy Mav XD. I bet he'll squeak if ya poke him! And I already knew I was cute. I was just waiting for you guys to admit it!))
Alucard laughed a bit when the fact that all they were talking about were things that newlyweds were talking about already. "But I promise you this, so the minute it's over, we'll be wed. In fact.." He said to himself, taking a small parcel from his coat. "I was able to pick something up in the towns a while back.
Joseph just sighed and held his hands on the ship, allowing small nanomachines to spread onto the ship, giving the appearance of veins. "Well, even with this sophisicated technology, it could take a while."

Dr Cox shook his head "Amnesia is really a uncertain thing. at times it just takes time, the viewing of a item or person that she had a very strong bond to can reverse the effect... however some times the effect is just unrecoverable and the person pretty much has to start their life from scratch..."
Inuyahsa smiled and nodded "Right! together nothing will stand in our way!" he grinned "and our kids will live in a good world"

Rosette stared up at him innocently, before her eyes shifted over to the small parcel he was carrying. This intrigued her curiosity before she sat up, her legs folded underneath her, using them as some sort of pillow, propping her up on the bed so that she was a bit taller in height. "Hm?" She questioned as she pointed to the small parcel now. "What is that Alucard?"
Lum quickly walked back to Dr. Cox as she leaned in to whisper something in his ear, holding the sleeping Faya in one arm as she used the other to cover her lips as she did the motion. "Do you think, now just hear me out on this one, but if Edward let's say... kissed Kirara and their souls combined, do you think there would be a chance her memory could be restored?" She then lowered her hand as she leaned back, all the while smirking at the thought.
Temari laughed at this, not helping but finding this a tad amusing. "Yes, but wait, Inuyasha? I thought that after all of this was over, that we were going to go back to your world? To live there, y'know?" She asked him, a tad confused now.

Ed cleared his throat as his face lightened back to the light red it had been when Kirara had first kissed his cheek. He closed his eyes and puffed his chest out slightly with a serious expression on his face. Yes, Edward was trying his tough guy act. He jabbed his thumb at his chest and his voice was slightly deepened to go along with the act. "Who, me? Embarrassed? By you? Nah, that couldn't happen. Not in a million years." He got a bit of a smug smile on his face, even if he knew he probably looked and sounded like a dork.
Oomizu looked over her shoulder to Joseph and pouted slightly. "Don't drain your energy too much, Joseph-kun. We have a big battle coming up, and I'd hate it if something bad happened to you..." She did some finishing touches on what she was doing before yanking the cloth off, revealing a robot of some sort. She stood up and went behind it, opening a flap and messing with some wiring inside she'd left untouched for when she was ready for this part.

"Dont know exactly how all this smooching biz works to tell you the truth, but i take it it has to do alot with emotions, and in order for emotions to work the memory of the past has to be there as well. who knows it might hurt her more then help her since these emotions of hers right now were not present before the accident, and if they were, they were not as obvious...."'
Inuyahsa nodded "Yea but for some reason im starting to like it here. Lots of adventures to have and such"

Kirara had one hand up by her mouth, the side of her right index finger being lightly pressed against her lips. She stared at Ed strangely, since she was both confused by this action, as well as flattered. "Ah, really now? Hmm, okay Edward-kun, whatever you say." She told him with a light giggle before she moved her hand away from her lips and let it run through her hair before resting itself firmly on her hip.
Temari sighed at the thought before she began to ponder over his suggestion of them continuing to live there for the rest of their days, in Quasar at least. "Hm, well, Inuyasha... It's going to be hard to adjust to any land, since I hail from a desert nation. But I'm sure you and the children will be a lot easier to adapt to the situations and areas than I, myself." She stated simply, shifting her eyes up to meet his own now.
"Ah, I see then." Lum said with a nod before she walked over to the cradle in the infirmary and placed the now-sleeping Faya inside, tucking her in with a light pink blanket before making her way back to Dr. Cox's side once more. "Well, I don't know why. But I get this strange feeling that somehow, by some sort of strange magic or whatever, that it'll just all work out in the end. So I guess I should just take it in a positive way. But at the same time, I don't just want to take things at face value," She then sighed as she placed her hand upon her own cheek, now staring at Ed and Kirara once more. "In all honesty though Dr. Cox, this is just all too confusing."

Since Ed at least felt better, he stopped his tough guy act and stood up normally with his voice back to it's normal tone. "So, Kirara, are you hungry or something? I could go see if Sanji will make something for ya."

((So I'm just going to pretend that the announcement of us taking off actually happened and get to posting. At least, I would, if I didn't randomly get another damn writer's block. GUH. I blame Valve's latest update for Team Fortress 2. Grye knows what I'm talking about.
Anyways, Hotstreak's still in the kitchen, Jack's off with Nina in some room or another, Etna's off with Minato in a different room doing who knows what {maybe even just sleeping}, Kain's back somewhere on the ship, and Gear... Hell, I don't know. Maybe he'll bump into someone in the hallway. *shrug*))

Alucard took the liberty of taking Rosette's hand, and opening the parcel, revealing a diamond ring inside of it. "Consider this my promise to you that when this all ends, we will be husband and wife." He promised as he took the liberty of sliding the ring on her ring finger
