ANNOUNCEMENT  Well mates, it's come to it. We need to make serious changes to the way Quiddetch is played. Don't be alarmed! Thess is a good thing! We're always open to experiment! It may be a bit before Quiddetch is perfected!
These are some of the changes we have in mind:
1.) This has already been put in affect, but not enough to get et goin'. GAMES COULD LAST FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK DEPENDEN' ON HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR SEEKERS TO CATCH THE SNETCH! No, it certainly wouldn't be played all at once! It's going to happen over an extended period of time, and the next change will explain how.
2.) Games will be played out much like the Yule Ball lass year. The game well be opened at a certain time, an' players may come, post an' go as they please; and at any given time. The onleh rule that would be applied would be that no one may post twice en a row.
Now, thess requires players to be VERY patient with one another. If a person is not able to respond to your post, you'll have to either wait for them to respond, or address an entirely different person (depending on the circumstances).
This also poses reason to an unfair advantage. . . . Or so you may think. Players on opposing teams will not be able to progress without members of the other team. Members may take as long, or short, as they'd like to post. (Well, there WILL be a certain time limit, but a fair one). It should all work out just fine.
The game will start, as usual, weth Madame Hooch tossen' up the quaffle, and the first person to answer the question correctleh well gain possession of it! Start times will vary.
Please let Madame Hooch know your thoughts/ideas on these subjects HERE. These have alreadeh gone under a great deal of discussion, but help us work out the kinks!
Now, don't thenk I've forgotten the Newspaper! I know that's been held off quite a bet, but Madame Hooch has been particularleh busy worken' out the problems with Quiddetch. She would like to thank you for your patience! It will be here eventually!

Ergh...I think I'm going to go absolutely bonkers...we should make a new event! These few days have been action-missing on Gaia. There aren't events, the only new items are the prom items and Inari's Beads, which aren't really new, the Dueling Club is alright but the dueling is mostly chance (50% win or lose)...Hrm. I wonder about the fanfiction contest.

Hm... well I'm not sure what to do to keep you not bored.... but I do think we need an event. Not like the quidditch and dueling though... maybe a party for the beginning of summer? Kind of like a laid back pool party version of the yule ball?

I see you all seem in need of some Haven events! I could contact some other mod's and see if we could get something going. Just remember these things never work unless we have the help and support of others.
I was thinking maybe a end of the school year bash! We could also honor the newbies with a welcome to the Haven type event. Have a huge forum introducing everyone (oldies) to (newbies). Make them feel welcome! Okay now I'm excited. I have been absent, and I want to make it up to the Haven!

Uhm, Hello. ^_^;;
Im a newbie and I think thats a great idea! Ive been finding it a little difficult to realy get out and meet people in the guild who arent in Gryffindor House..
Maybe this could be like a feast or a ball; like in the books when the new year begins or what-not.
