You know you're a band nerd when you start calling the non-band people "normal nerds." (Guilty of that even today! whee )
You know you're a band nerd when you know the brand of every instrument your friends own, but you don't even know your own.
You know you're a band nerd when you flip out at being called a nerd for being in band. (Guilty of that too!)
You know you're a band nerd when a new person joins the band and they're already in your inner circle of friends.

You know your a band nerd when..... you dress up as you instrument for halloween.
Me friend looked hilarious walking around as a violin. It may not be band but hey it was funny.

You know you're a band nerd when you have three buttons that say "BAND NERD", "I am a professional. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME.", and "TUNE IT OR DIE".
And when you go to school, sick as a dog, just to participate in pep band.
...Did that yesterday.

you know you're a band geek when the only reason you know kids in other grades is that you were in marching//honor//orchestra band together.

You know you're a band nerd when you constantly hum your music.
You know you're a band nerd (more specifically, a percussionist) when you drum on something without even realizing you're doing it.
You know you're a band nerd when you and all your friends walk in step.

Oh, I got one.
You know you're a band geek when you have cafeteria duty and you're serving lunch without even knowing while you're tapping your foot in time to some music. ( I did that today, well technically yesterday, but I was serving food and I didn't know what my hand was doing, but my foot was in step to one of my jazz songs..)
Or when you start banging on the metal pots and pans to make music that only sounds like music to you, but noisy rackett to others...
(( WOOT!! Guilty of both of em!! ))

when...
~you make a minature flute out of straw and are able to play a song on it
~you tap songs on your desk at school and your friends dance to it
~the posters on your wall are actually the songs you played last year

: You go straight to the band room first thing in the morning.
: If you have nothing to do, you go to the band room.
: You would rather do rhythm studies than a review jeopardy game in health class.
: You hear a song and think it would be great for marching band.
: You hear a song and think of ways to change it into a guard routine.
