"Tori's still as stubbern as a mule. She won't accept help that easily, unless she'll die anyway." Anekio sighed, thinking about Ran for a moment. "You know, Konoha and Suna still have that strong bond. There are definatly people over there stronger than our ANBU that are only Jounin. We should ask the Hokage about it."

"Let's do that now then before it's too late. Takeshi's going to be showing up at that spot same time as then, midnight. We'll have until then to get ready and get any help. We may not have another chance. Takeshi is stubborn as well and I have a feeling that he'll kill more people if things don't go his way."

Anekio put her rock back down and nodded. "Right. Which are we asking to get a guard for though, they both need one. Tori'd just be more likely to try and ditch her's." She smiled, walking at a slow pace.

"But Ran is easier to protect, as she's still in the hospital and in no condition to try and run away. We can see if we can get a guard or two for Tori, and the two of us can help keep an eye on Ran. I'm sure she'd like to see a familiar face."
Tori found herself back at the bird tower, and climbed up to sit on the roof. She lay back with a sigh and stared up at the dimming sky. I wonder if I've brought more good or trouble to this village since Taka took me in? Things have been hard on him for having to stick up for me with people who are supposed to be my family. He's more my father than my real father is or ever was. Or at least I think he is. She let her eyes fall close as she drifted off into her memories.
Takeshi stretched out, testing his body and nodding his satisfaction. Tonight I'll complete my mission. This time, I won't take no for an answer...

Anekio sighed and gave a nod. "I suppose, but for now somebody needs to keep a close watch on Tori as well. There'd be no way somebody could get to Konoha in that amount of time from Suna, right?" She gave a small shrug, "It would probably help. The poor girl's already scared of hatred, all she needs is every guard in Konoha getting a look at her."

"It's three days between here and Suna, help may come late. It's better than nothing, though. I think we can stall Takeshi long enough until help gets here. He's no match for a unit of ANBU, we should just have them ambush him tonight when he's waiting for Tori."

Anekio nodded her head, "That's a fair assumption. We could tell the Hokage both of those and then let him know we'll be watching over Ran."

"We should go do that now, then. I want to get ready and be rested before that times comes. We may end up with one hell of a fight on our hands again." Yuhi took Anekios hand and started walking. "I can go talk to him alone if you want to go to the hospital and wait with Ran. I'll bring us back some food too."

Anekio nodded, "Yeah, I should probably head over there anyway. There's probably already been two guard swaps since the first one." She sighed, scartching her ear for a second. "You should probably get something all kids like so Ran can eat something without thinking it's disgusting. She's probably starved unless she likes hospital food." She smiled at him.

"Okay, I'll catch up with you in a bit then." He let go of her hand, took a step, then turned back and pulled her to him. "I'll get you some more Pocky." He then gave her a kiss and a smile before letting her go again.

"Just remember to stay respectful and firm with the Hokage and you'll probably get your way." Anekio smiled back at him. "Surprise me with a flavor, I like most kinds." She turned on her heel and headed back to the hospital, waving at yuhi before she left.

Surprise her huh? Okay... Yuhi headed for the Hokage tower and hoped that he wasn't busy. When he got there, he found that he wasn't there. He gave a sigh and sat outside his office to wait.

((Thank you! <3 I added your nickname by the thing on my profile. ;D)) Anekio hurried to the hospital, walking in quickly. "I'm gonna head over to Ran's room!" She waved at the nonexistant nurse and rose a brow. Hm...Maybe they're trying to clean up from earlier. She gave a small shrug and walked down the hallway, seeing a guard.
"I'm here to take over for you!" She grinned, but quickly dropped it and looked serious.
The guard shrugged, their replacement was supposed to come ten minutes later, but that didn't matter. "She's all your's."
Anekio nodded and watched until the guard was gone before walking into Ran's room. "Hiya, kid. How's it goin'?"
The Hokage walked up the stairs to his tower, his eyes closed. He kept his pace slow, sensing a familar chakra in his office. He paused outside the door for a moment. Hm...it's definatly a Sarutobi. Probably Yuhi... He thought before opening the door to find just who he expected. "Good afternoon. Is something wrong?"

Ran's eyes had flashed to the door when she heard a familiar face, and then gave a small smile when Anekio came in. "Okay... I guess..." She murmured, giving off a small cough as she shifted to sit up completely again. "Already tired of just laying here..." she managed another small smile.
