Nieth blinked, surprised at his sudden disappearance, then let slip a wry smile. "Her majesty is inside? Good," she let her smile soften slightly at Aiketh's nod. "I'll be attending to her. Tell them that if they inquire." Quietly pushing open the doors, she silently entered the room.
Aikth was startled by Nieth's timely appearance and intervention in the matter of what to do about the sleeping Micoi. Heading back down to the dining hall she felt a tinge of what might have been jealousy. Micoi had such charisma and such a likeable personality. What she had said to Kanak had been true: in the few hours she had been known to the Dragon Clan, many people had already fallen for her.
Shaking the thought from her head, Aiketh sped up her steps. It wasn't long before she returned to the wide hall. She stood in the small side doorway for a long moment, watching the stiff chatter within. Oh, what she wouldn't give for all the guests to simply give up and go home!
The room was very dark when Nieth shut the door behind her and she spent some time bustling about it, finally discovering a candle and stand and matches in a small drawer. Lighting it and placing it on the bedside table, Nieth sat at the foot of the bed, resting one hand gently on Micoi's leg. When she spoke a few minutes later, her voice was still sharp and commanding, but quieter, almost as if trying to explain to a weary child.
"My lady. Wake up."

It took some time, and another word or two, but finally the young woman stirred, slowly waking up. Rolling over onto her side, Micoi moved a hand to rub at her one, half open, eye. "... Kanak?" she mumbled in a sleepy voice.

Nieth felt her lips curve up into a thin smile once more, and gave a dry, slightly biting laugh. "No, I'm sorry to say. I wanted to see how you were doing. To be perfectly honest, I don't blame you for going off like that."

The girl seemed to, almost immediately, after registering that it wasn't one she knew very well, pull her feet to herself and sat up in a halfway, more like half lying, sloppy manner as she eyed Neith. It was almost as if she was looking for ulterior motives. "Really? Why?" she asked in a low voice, seeming a bit suspicious.

Nieth sat up straighter as well, accepting the boundery Micoi had so clearly drawn. "I have no motives in coming here," she said bluntly, looking the younger woman in the eyes. Gold and gray brushed against each other in the shadows. "I just wanted to see you. To see if you needed anything. You reminded me of myself, out there." She was speaking almost casually, as if this was the sort of discussion that was held in everyday life and as if it stood no chance of hurting her.

"I remind you... of yourself?" she asked confused. "Did you grow up in Arinas too?" Perhaps it was just the flickering flame of the candle but there seemed to be a slight change of light in the Queen-to-be's golden eyes as she looked at Neith.

Celia had slipped out of the hall almost as soon as the incident had begun. She coudn't stand the sound of people arguing. It wasn't an annoyance type thing, but it almost tended to bring on pannic attacks for her...In recent years, they had been much lessened, having only one or two since she came to the dragon castle.
A while after Micoi, Kanak, Neith, and Aiketh had all left, she crept towards the queen's room as quietly as she could. She felt bad for Micoi. She could relate what it was like to have been with someone for a very long time, and then just suddenly be somewhere completely different...She didn't quite know WHY she was going to the new queen's room, or for that matter what she would do if she was even allowed to see her, but she thought at least she should try.
She got to the door several minutes after Kanak had left. She stood starting at the wood for a few seconds, before timidly knocking on it, still not sure what she was planning to do...She didn't want to make Micoi dislike her, but she felt that she very much wanted to see if she could help out in any way, and that at the current time.....Celia was quite afraid it would annoy her.

Nieth laugned again, easing herself down more comfortably on the mattress and looking out the closed glass balcony doors. "No. No, I wasn't. I was born in this city and I've never left it for any extended period of time, but that doesn't mean that we aren't very similar in some respects. True, I didn't lose my family as... violently as you did. There's no way for me to tell you how sorry I am for you about that." She shook her head slightly, still looking away from Micoi.

Micoi looked at the other and seemed about to speak when there was a soft sound echoing through the room. Someone had knock on the door... Turning her head towards teh white painted wood, Micoi stared at it. It almost seemed as if she could see right through it and was deciding whether to let the person in or not. Finally, she rose from her half lying position, almost rolling off the bed with an odd grace bron from years of trainign with a sword and dodging lethal attacks.
Moving over to the door, her hand hesitated over the handle for a second before it edscended on it and she opened the door partly, looking outside to see a quite young looking girl. Well, she seemed young but the feeling her aura gave wasn't exactly that young, also, the dragon noticed, she was a faerie, or at least part since she was a knight too. She could feel the power of the dragon. Then she remembered the girl, it was the knight who had had a broken leg in Arinas.
Blinking once, Micoi smiled slightly at her, the gesture light but at the same time gentle and warm. "Yes... Celia?" she said, struggling to remember the girl's name, which she was sure had been mentioned at least once in her presence, and hoped she was correct.

Celia kind of bit her lip a little, trying to come up with the words she was looking for. She reached around behind her with her left hand, and tugged slightly at her loose hair. "I.....Wanted to make sure you were okay.....I mean....I know your....probably not okay....because.....well, you have every right not to be....but....."It was clear she was stumbling to find the right words to express the sentiment. At that point, she just allowed her voice to kind of trail off, knowing that it was probably best that she just be silent before she said anything that would be.....well, stupid.

The dragon blinked at her visitor, tilting her head to the side lightly, making some icy azure bangs that had come loose frame her face. Somehow, for some reason, the faerie reminded her partly of Meeya when they had first met him, before he had gotten comfortable around her and Kanak. It had been cute, to see him stumble over the words or just say half of his sentence. And despite Celia not looking the least like the darker Meeya... she resembled him slightly in other ways.
A small smile slowly lightened her face, warm and genuine. "Thank you, Celia. You remind me of a dear friend of mine," she said in a low but stead voice. The golden orbs glittered in the candles that flickered and burned in their three seat holders on the walls, casting three soft glows per candle holder and creating a soft but pretty light play in the hall and giving the Queen-to-be an off shimmer to her eyes and hair.
((Micoi's glowing! >0> Kyaa! XD She must have eaten something.))

"I'm glad..."She said, happy to know she wasn't being annoying. She waved slightly to Neith, not really suprised to see her there, simply because she knew Neith was a very good person. "Yes...Um....So I should probably....go then..."she was going to continue with the scentence, except her sword seemed to sort of jump a little, creating a space of about an inch from the hilt. Apparently, Kahaku wanted out. Celia jumped a bit just as soon as the sword had, quickly pushing it back down all the way into the sheith a tad embarrasedly. She thought it was silly that she couldnt' even tell when Kahaku was so desperate to get out he'd try to force his way, before he did it.

Sweet... Hiding her face in one hand, Kushina sighed exposively. Children. Actually remembering how it was to have been that young was hard. She had memories, of course, but relating to them as a hormonally-charged, not fully mentally mature teenager she could no longer find the mind to do. Such a mess. A little girl, naïve and maybe even slightly spolied in her own way, suddenly dropped like this, into a situation like the one playing out here... the reaction wasn't unexpected, or, indeed, unwanted; some reaction should come from being forced from everything one has known and loved.
But it would definitely have been preferable for this to have happened in private. It would have spared Micoi the possible embarrassment, not for what had been said, but how she had reacted and delivered said lines, and for doing it in public. Rubbing her eyes, Kushina really wanted to go and have a reminiscing chat with Neith.
Honestly... She stared at Jett from between her fingers with narrowed eyes. He should, at the least, have treated this with a certain bit more of... discretion.
Children!
The sudden explosion from the Dragon Queen to be had Liozu jerking his head and staring. Luckily, with all the attention locked at Micoi, no one caught the full-bloomed sneer on his face. Lizards. What else could one expect, really? What an utterly disgusting way of reacting! HAd she been forced to something like this, and not liked it, she would have turned the castle to rubble, cursed half of them, ranted in privacy, but certainly not something as childishly tacky as this!
Though... casting a speculative look at Jett, Empress smirked mentally. Tainted, that one was. And wasn't that just delicious, being that he was a descendant of Cesia and Rath. Pearl could, seemingly, always be found...
Looking around, Liozu caught sight on Ana, who looked rather upset as she tried to clean the shards of a broken flute from the floor. Ahh... A distraction, and it would further his goal, too. With a bright smile, Liozu got up from his seat and wandered over to where Ana was crouched, heedlessly picking up large pices as well as small, not bothered by the cuts. "Calm down, take a deep breath. You won't be able to do your job if you're shivering and upset like that," Liozu smiled reassuringly, but having to even make a play for such consideration was stomach twisting.
***
Inside, Liozu was pretty much dumbstruck. "Well. Er... Um. That was some tantrum," Liozu shook his head, but, even "closed away" like this inside his own mind, had been able, when Empress had been looking at Micoi, at any rate, to catch the tension. The size of the explosion was a bit of a surprise, though. But, had he been able to meet her face to face, he would have been able to make a better estimation... What a mess, though! Then Liozu caught up with what Empress was doing, and hissed. "Let her be! Damnit...."
Liozu was, as usual, ignored.

So Kushina seemed lost in her own mind and musings, and he guessed they weren't all too sympathetic. Great, that left him... with Jett. Oh well, it wasn't so much else to do, someone had to see how their Lord was doing.
Glancing over at the dark colored dragon, wondering what kind of reaction to expect from him. Not only had Jett just been yelled at by his soon-to-be wife and queen but also slapped by her before a youkai had come and she had turned to cry in his arms. Illusia was expecting the worst as he readied himself to go over to Jett, slowly rising from his chair.
