((No....I've got no means of contacting Dupre, sorry alina. I'm as confused as you.))
Not expecting it, Mercury jumped as the booming noise overtook the silence in the room. This high up, though still loud, it sounded like a bellow. But for someone to do so, they had to be channeling. What in Light's....the words the announcement had been blaring registered and Mercury rushed over to the window. She could see slow movement on Dragonmount's slope.
In the name of the Light, what is the matter with the Pattern today?! Wolf seemingly dying, Yurin going off to Shayol Goul, and now this!! Can anything else make this day worse?!
"LINA! Go tell the Greens & Blues to Travel to the slopes with their Warders! Have the warders evacuate the nearby villages, but tell them not to do anything about the ice unless I get there, or it becomes dangerous!! Find the cause of this! Hurry! Alyse, quickly! Tell the stablemen to saddle as many horses! Then find the person who made that announcement! Tell them to report to me, immediately! Bring them up here yourself if that's what it takes!"
Ushering the two girls out the door, Mercury took a deep breath. They could not afford any mishaps. Or any more disaster. Clarissa wasn't in any mental state to take care of this. So she would take care of it herself. A novice came running in to report the news just heard and Mercury sent her to wait inside the Amyrlin's quarters with Hawk, so she could have a report as soon as she needed it.
"Fayela...I'm sorry...but we'll have to talk later. We have a job to do...will you help?"

Kederaji chuckled and twirled the sword before she stepped off, then waited. Of course he saw the opening to strike her legs, but he was more interested in seeing what she was capable of. He was on the defense, and remained there until her sword collided with his. The blademaster grinned at the contact, enjoying the battle already, as he did any chance to use his skills, and met her blow for blow.
Kederaji had already entered the void, and was using the small sword as effectively as he used his own, parrying and blocking, mainly feeling his opponent out, determining what she could do. A few times he feinted an attack towards her, but it was merely to test her defenses, rather than to try to land a blow. He wasn't fighting so much as parrying, and he was willing to place a bet that she knew that.

He was...he was...toying with her! No way a warder could be this bad with a sword! He had to be playing with her! Growling in her throat she pressed her offensive harder, using much more than just her sword. Keeping both hands on the handle of her sword she swung a horizontal swing from the right, waited for him to block, rolled her shoulders so her left shoulder was in a position to drive into Kederaji's chest. Which she did, with more than a little anger. A good defense was hard to break, but a powerful offence was better than any defense, and that was exactly how Rintala fought. She pressed her opponent hard and fast, trying to keep them off balance. It worked with local street thoughs, or road side bandits...but this was a warder!!

Kederaji grunted slightly with the impact of her shoulder into his chest. He saw it coming when she rolled her shoulder, but he was in no position to stop it, and all he could do was make sure she wouldn't knock him over. She seems frustrated, he thought, and rightly so. If she insists, I'll step it up a notch.
Kederaji met her next swing hard, hard enough to bring a louder than normal crack out of the practice swords. The blademaster had seen what she could do, and had decided to shift gears completely. He lashed at her sword two more times, then began pressing the offense, striking out decisively. It was time to show her what he could do.

As the Accepted giving her the message left Lacy sighed. Looked like she would have to wait on that bath. At least she had been able to finish her meal. Taking a brush to her long white hair, Lacy sighed. Her Gaidin would not best be pleased with heading out again but at the moment he seemed to be amused. That couldn't be bad and by the location in his head and his calmness she could only guess that he was still practicing at the Training Yards. The only question was what could he be amused about. She had bonded a strange man and was intent on figuring out exactly who and what he was.
Opening up a gateway in her rooms, Lacy Traveled to the Traveling grounds then made her way over to the Warder Yards where she sensed that Kederaji was. Upon finding him she could only shake her head. He was sparing with a rather untrained girl to Lacy's eye and she walked so that he could clearly see her and leaned against the fence. She would let him finish his fight before she informed him of the order to go to Dragonmount. Lacy had no idea what could be so important about the bloody ice melting but if that was where she was sent that was where she was going though she doubted that her skills would be needed there. Why ever would they need battle weaves used on water. Lacy waited and watched.

Clarissa hearing the commotion outside and something about dragonmount gets up and walks to the door. Yurin may or may not die but my worry will change the outcome not a wit. He has been my Warder for less than a day while the Tower has been my responsibility for years. If this is a crisis the Tower will need me. She thought angry at herself for not calming herself immedietly. She nodded to Hawk in greeting and hurried out of the room channeling to straighten her hair and clothing. She heard the message to the Greens and Blue and then felt strong flows coming from where Mirren was. She traveled immedietly to the source of the flows and found herself by Mirren.

: From outside of her open window Azalea heard shouts about Dragonmount melting. With a shrug and the dip of her pen in a pot of ink, she shrugged it off and went back to her writings. Someone else would take care of it, she already heard the flurry of concerned skirts and shocked murmers. One more channeler, even one as strong as she, would merely get in the way. If they had need for her talents, they would come to her. :

Even though Dupre was no longer behind her she could still feel him he had just not been able to catch up. he really needs to excersies more... she thought bitterly. if the situation had not been so dire she would have laughed at the humorility of it. ((is that a word??!?!)). when she arrived at the source of the CHanneling she found herself staring and the AMyrilin and a girl, who she had never seen before. the Glow of the Power surronded the girl. "NO! AMyrilin step back! this...thhis....Monster is dangeruous! she must be the one metling Dragonmount!" Alina rushed forward embraced the source and started to weave the flows to cut this...THING off from the Source, all hte meanwhile thinking, why hasn't CLarissa done this yet?!?!?!?

Nodding, Mercury siezed the source and opened a gateway to dragonmount. She motioned Fayela through, then stepped through it herself. As it snapped shut behind her, she looked up at the mass of land moving towards them. They couldn't just stop it; it would have to go somewhere. But where? She assumed whoever was channeling it had been found already, since a small trio was clustered in a far off corner of her vision. As she wondered for an answer, the landslide raced towards them. She knew the sisters better than to say they'd be crushed, but swords were no good against dirt.
"Anyone have ideas on where to send it?"

monster eh, look who's talking Mirren could feel people around her channeling, but gave them no attention. She surely would be stilled for this, but she did not care. I want nothing to do with Saidar, nothing! Her anger made her stronger than she could ever have imagened.
A load BANG rolled over the land in every direction. With it ash spraided from Dragonmount in a stunning fountain.
((I take it that Dragonmount is an explosive volcano, since it is nowhere near a subductionzone, therefore ryolite magma will come from it, not bazaltic magma, the last not being explosive. Normally I used to make eathquakes when I have a stong emotion, but I think that would be only a little bit to much of it all right now.))

Rintala couldn't help but let out a started, "Eeep!" When Kederaji shifted from defensive to offensive. He was too fast, everywhere her sword was he was there to counter it! It took almost everything she had just to make sure the damn man didn't break her arm, or her skull! Was this how a warder fought? Even as she was slowly being pressed backwards, her feet finding sure footing as Kederaji forced her back one step at a time, her mind whirled with thoughts, her eyes shineing with awe. Another step back, whirling her sword in a semi-arc off to her right she brought it up in a tentive vertical slash. From groin to crown it should have cut, but it was a tentive slash, one that was easily blocked. It didn't matter if Kederaji blocked this one, because as soon as her vertical slash reached it's peak she would twist her wrist and turn the upward slash into a horizontal, downward, thrust to his shoulders. If these were real blades and if the attack even worked, after all she was fighting a warder and thus greatly outclassed in both skill and strength, it would have severed the muscles and tendants in the shoulder and made that arm limp. This particular strike was aimed at the right shoulder.
((I don't mind if you godmode a bit, after all I am out of my league fighting a warder.))

Clarissa immedietly begin sending out flows to block off Mirren after she exited the gateway. She did not see Alina and was only focusing on stopping the girl. Mirren was very strong in Earth and her anger certainly helped but Clarissa had years of advantage on her. She sent out her flows meant to block Mirren from the source and prayed to the Creator they worked.
