Heyyy peeps!

I'm not the only one suffering from heat then, it's 3 degrees C hotter today than yesterday.
I'm just not built for this, bought an extra fan and just keeping ice in front of it to do ANYTHING.
Had the most tepid bath on earth earlier then hit myself with the hairdryer on cool which has helped.
Stocked up on Pepsi Diet and gonna stay sat in front of a fan.
Me and the bf did consider getting an air conditioner but the running costs for one are actually insane with our electric unit price being what it is.

Ya the gaia emojis are really outdated, luckily I got GaiaUpgrade and normal emojis work in posts, 🫠

Went back to my playthrough of DA origins, finally beat the giant underground section. Turns out my laptop wasn't overheating and crashing, the old a** game just has giant memory leak issues, which I spent 2 hours fixing yesterday.
Now I can face the blight without fear of the screen turning black

well its been a nerve rattling day. mom got her heart cath done.. she has 3 blockages! a 70% 80% and a 100% blockage. holy shitballs rly? she's still walking a mile or two a day wtf?? she knew she'd need stent or stents but dang. they took her on up by ambulance and plan to try open heart surgery tomorrow was the first plan. but there's a specialist at the hospital she went to. bigger city one couple hours away instead of our 30 min away one.

they might miiiiiight be able to do all 3 stents which would be amazing. but it'll depend on where the blockages are and how far they are. they cant stent a long clot going into a big area. we will see. she's in decent spirits. she feels lucky to be alive at this pt. they said after cath they could tell she had 3 heart attacks all at same time a few months ago.. likely gonna add up to when the house mortgage was harrassing her with some not above board tactics to scare her outta her home loan and give it up.. that's already in court so.. the fact that that's contributed to her health now is definitely gonna factor into that case and good. fook those ppl..

so.. my bro works in the city she'll be staying at a few nights to a week so he can check on her tonite and he's there now actually. so we agreed i'd come home tonite and cook some chicken and onions in crockpot and roast some soft yams and gold taters in dutch oven. probably pack her some watermelon with that and bring it up in bro's yeti tomorrow. she cant eat alot of just microwaved hospital food. the salt she cant take it swells her up and with all that dental work she cant eat hard foods. so they'll hopefully work with me when i bring food tomorrow. didnt sleep a whole bunch last nite but i'll try to tonite b4 going up there later morning tomorrow. gosh i hope they cant stent it.. imma get a ekg next freaking month i may ask for a heart cath just to see what i got in me.. cuz my family big golden but busted a** hearts. heart dramallama

get me thru this week ya'll! i got all the plants of hers watered and food bout done and stuff rdy for tomorrow. now i just need to stay busy. imma fake guitar it up till my thumb hates me. heart

I did try the ice thing and it deffo helped the fan do more because my arms felt a bit chilly at points xp
Late af posting soz back into the swing of it in work and it's busier than ever, on top of doing what I am doing in my hometown and covering sickness, another store has been stuck without staff so gotta do a lil tour of cover.
Gonna be a busy 2 weeks but it'll all be worth it once that pay packet comes, the way the cost of living has gone I basically have to just take whatever I can, I refuse to give things up so I gotta make more money whee

Yeah I realised it was memory leakage after I put a 4gb patch on the game and the crashes became less frequent but after a certain period it would still happen.
Had to install a thing called DXVK in the end, it specifally tries to improve memory managment.
Haven't had a crash since but also got bored of the game before getting to the end again because I forgot there was another longwinded quest I didn't want to do. xp

That's crazy with your mom, tbh how active she is is probably also the reason she could pull off doing all that walking and stuff, that's actually insane she was moving around that much if it was like that.
If they can link it through document dates and stuff I abso would add that on to the suit, give them hell!
I really hope your mom improves and they can get something done so she can feel better and start to move forward.
Whatever the proceedure they do may she heal quickly.

Now I'm doing 42 hr weeks so tryna squeeze in whenever I can.

Slept 4 hours last night cause I wound up being needed early, I feel like the zombie my avi here has been for the last 15 years.
I'm keeping good overall tho just sleepy, but I can do all the things I wanna do tired lol.

headin on up. i'll sleep soooo much better tonite if the procedure went well cuz we'll be on teh other side of it finally. a long recovery and i'll be def busy af the coming months but i did recovery for a best friend i lived with for 10 yrs after a titanium full hip replacement and couple weeks after flushed the pain meds he was hooked on. so if i got thru that. i'll get thru a momma that cant lift anything that will probably follow me around mismanaging every chore in the house lol..

My mamgu had similar nd she smoked her whole life, she wound up needing to have a quintuple bypass, it sounds so scary but her recovery time was actually remarkable, she got back to walking around way too quick tbh much to our chagrin.
She went back to being the same ol crazy lady in a matter of weeks, tootling around to her friends houses several times a day, with a couple of cool scars to show off xp

So glad it was successful with your ma! Wishing her a speedy recovery heart

Not much to report on my end, still jus workin' lol

I slept like 8 hours for the first time in a week! oh boy that helps! i'm clean and rested. i got food and jars of water packed.. she calls botttled water monkey water.. mom that is.. i dunno why but she doesn't like the chemical plastic taste so ive been packing her mason jars with cold well water i keep in fridge over nite. got yogurt and scramble eggs oh i got it all in my cooler.. she's doing really well the nurse said cuz i checked in a few times between yesterday and today.

so thankful. i might spend the nite if she gets outta icu. i think they meant she'll be rdy to leave icu.. but no surgery over weekend means 6th floor.. where its more casual for heart recovery. might still be full till monday. we'll see if a room opens but she's doing well. she hasnt touched her cell so i worry she's in pain and just sleepin to not deal with the world but hell who can blame her..

next week imma get that trigger thumb shot again. and i plan to bleach this whooooooole house and haul the ac units out to bleach and hose out.. my dad passed after his open heard 15 yrs ago.. but my dad was a hot mess. we'd had a rocky relationship but ended as friends thankfully for my mind.

he went back home and refused to stay with me and my roomie at the time who had a townhouse and was gonna take in his cats and give him teh downstairs master bedroom with private bath to keep the place aniseptic for him. after gramma passed couple yrs earlier he'd let the house fall to ruin and woudlnt let us or anyone in. we didnt know how bad till a month later when he passed.. but.. it wasnt only that. he was poppin ambien and crown royal (found em in his pc desk after passing)and announcing at wrestling matches in town. he passed right after a match.. you werent gonna tell the man how to live his disfunctional life lol he went out being dumb and wild at 56. i dont think he'd have wanted it otherwise..

but i'll be damned if it'll be an issue here for momma.. this shits getting recked next week b4 she comes home. but i'll put that off a few days yet cuz we aint that close yet.
