Grace was in and out of the legal office without any problems. They would receive Thomas's social security information in the mail soon. When she returned outside Thomas had woken up and was starting to get a little fussy from needing to eat, so before she left Grace took a seat in the driver's seat, holding Thomas to feed him before she started on her new adventure. Most of which was just running around and completing different odds and ends. Then of course she needed to get with Orion about what she wanted for dinner, though she was thinking about maybe going to his new restaurant since she had not been there yet.

Kevin was standing against the car, watching as people walked in and out of the legal building. "You look beautiful today. You know, in case your husband didn't tell you already." He turned to her with a smirk and a wink. He didn't care whether or not Grace would return his feelings, he was going to speak his mind whether she liked it or not.

Grace rolled her eyes at him and sighed. She knew exactly how he was, and wasn't even going to feed into his little cries for attention. Soon Thomas was finished eating so she burped him and placed him back in the carseat. "Look, I can take care of myself. You can go. Tell Dereck I sent you away, alright?" Before she could shut her door Kevin stopped it, and ducked his head inside. "Look, I'm gonna follow you and watch over you whether you like it or not. Suck it up." He closed her door for her and moved to his bike, starting it up and waiting on her to leave.

Lena was awoken about 4:30 in the morning. She yawned and stretched before she grabbed her phone. She answered it and the voice on the other end made her sit up straight. All traces of sleepiness gone.
"I will be there right away! Thank you!" Lena was shaking and her eyes were filling with tears. Cadence was awake!

She dressed in simple clothing. A pair of faded comfortable jeans and a raglan shirt. She went to wake Tyson and let him stay in his pajamas. She struggled to carry the boy out of the house, and into her car but she somehow managed. She buckled him in and he slept the whole way to the hospital.

Once there Lena forced him to wake, and lead the groggy boy through the hospital. Lena stepped into the room but froze upon seeing the strange man. She stared at the back of the man who was holding her daughter's hand in between his two large hands. He bowed his head and kissed her tiny hand.
"Excuse me, who are you? What are you doing in my daughter's room?" Lena's voice was stern and had a slight edge. The man let go of Cadence's and rose. He turned to face Lena and she was stunned into silence.
"I learned my daughter was in the hospital. Things were not looking good for her, and I had to see her. It was very possible it would be the last time I saw her alive." Tyson began to whine and Lena scooped him up.
"Amazing how much both children favor you Lena." Lena started forward, and moved pass the man who should not be standing there at all.

She settled Tyson in the chair and turned her attention to her daughter. Her eyes still seemed unfocused. She didn't look anything like herself, but she weakly squeezed Lena's hand when Lena took her hand.
"Cadence, you scared me!" She couldn't control herself and she began crying as she squeezed her daughter to her.

After a few minutes Lena stepped out into the hallway and made a quick call. A call to Archie. She knew it was early but she figured he would like to know. Even if he didn't answer she could leave him a message. Lena did not mention Joshua being at the hospital. How could she tell him a man whose funeral she attended was standing in her daughter's hospital room. It would sound like she lost her damn mind! Which she was beginning to question.

"I wasn't expecting you to be up, and it doesn't sound like I woke you..." Lena was not a jealous woman. She laughed that emotion off constantly. She refused to be jealous, or ever let anyone make her jealous. Definitely not another female.
"I wanted to tell you rather then call you. Big news, at least for me. Cadie is awake." She glanced back into the room.

Joshua was sitting with Cadence, and talking to her in a low voice. Lena could not hear what he was saying. Not that she was very curious is what he had to say, she wanted to know why and how he was here.
"I am going to just call out today. Stay here with her today." She brushed her her dark hair back. She had forgot to tie it back when she left.

She looked back over to Killian as he started to divulge how guilty he felt. Her eyes softened on the man. Still he was just a sweetheart at his core. In a soft voice she told him with a shake of her head,"This wasn't your fault, Kill. Had she really wanted out she had options. Could have taken her own car and ran. Hell if it was that bad, she had my number she could call as well." Di knew she would have been the last person Cadence would have called for help. But the girl had had her number if she had felt she was in that big of a pickle and needed help. Of course Di would have called a man instead of another woman first too. But if he couldn't get there... And Cadie not asking her mom was easily explained by Lena having little Tyson. The two were probably deeper in this all already than Cadence wanted.

As he started talking about who was behind this, Di nodded her head and passed him a card with her cell on it,"Pass what information you got to me. I'll take care of it." Then she turned to leave, pausing at the door,"Take care of yourself. And for what it's worth, I'm sorry." And then she was out of the room and out of the hospital. She stopped to drop off the bag of rats and to obtain the information on those two college students. Then Diana was going home to her own little girl. She paid the babysitter upon walking through the door, then spent some time with Lyv watching a movie on the couch eating IceCream. Tomorrow she would have to talk to those kids as well check that lead Killian would send her hopefully. ((GOsh I'm sorry! I missed a whole day! I'm gonna try to play catch up quick))

Archie Thompson

Archie shrugged his shoulders. "Dereck's into some s**t and asked me to stay the night at the clubhouse. These damn beds aren't worth a s**t. Probably didn't sleep more than 4 hours total." This was one of the things he didn't miss about the MC life. The damn beds and sleeping at the clubhouse. He much preferred sleeping at home, where he could walk around in his underwear and just relax. Here he was on edge most of the time, and had to make sure s**t didn't hit the fan. When she went on to say that Cadie was awake, Archie let out a loud, excited chuckle. Not because he was excited for himself, but because he was excited for Lena. He knows how much she loves her kids, and having Cadie awake was a damn good sign that she was healing. "Holy s**t! Well I'll be damned!" He slapped his hand on the bar top, and immediately moved to the door, giving Nate a quick nod to let him know he was taking off. "Well, I'm on my way, doll. I'll see ya soon." He clicked his phone shut and first stopped at the store, where he bought Cadie some purple orchid flowers and a coffee with some chocolate covered strawberries for Lena, along with a bag of chips for Tyson. He was always thinking of others.
When he arrived at the hospitals he caught Lena in the hallway, and whistled at her.

Grace yelped in surprise when she felt Orion lift her from the ground. She hadn't realized that he was awake, or watching her. She laughed when he commented on her dance moves, and shook her head. "Oh gosh. Thomas, he caught me!" She grinned down at the little guy who was kicking his legs and cooing at the pair. "I don't know. Just feel good.." She took a sip from her coffee and put the spoon she had been using as a microphone into the sink. She had her coffee cup at her mouth when Orion spoke to Thomas, and from behind the cup she grinned. Thomas was a great sleeper, and certainly a trooper from being able to sleep through his parents escapades.

She placed her cup down on the counter and wiggled her eyebrows at him. "Perhaps it is." She replied. When he commented on her outfit she felt her cheeks heat up. Even after all this time together it was the compliments from her husband that made her stomach flutter. "Well, it's all for you." She grinned and wrapped her arms around his neck, holding the back of his head as he moved in and kissed her. On top of making her stomach flutter the man knew how to heat things up, and that he did. When he broke the kiss for air she kissed down his cheek and along his bare shoulder. "What are your plans today?"

She turned around and a smile spread across her face when she saw it was Archie. She moved quickly to him, immediately she squeezed him as tight as she could.
"You didn't have to come down so early..." She peered up into his face.
"I of course am glad you did, but...I am sure you are exhausted baby." Lena started to walk with him toward the room.
"Oh....um...something I should maybe tell you....You know what. I rather you see it with your own eyes. I thought and still think I must have lost my mind.... Well....what was left of it." She lead her new man into the room, Tyson was curled up in the chair, still passed out. Joshua had placed his jacket over the boy.

Joshua glanced over at Lena and Archie. His attention returned to Cadence and he moved to help her sit up a bit straighter.
"Wish I could say I was surprise to see you Archie....I am not though." Joshua replied calmly. The tone wasn't friendly but it wasn't exactly unfriendly either.
