Colorist's Username: Maxx D Method of obtainment:gram Totoma's Name: Crystal Flowers Owner Username: AstoriaFallen Link to uncert:xxx Name Origin: The winter had been unusually cold while the young Totoma Doe was on her naming quest and she came across a cluster of young totoma, cowering in fear at the sound of her approach. Eventually she was able to coax them from their hiding and asked them what the problem was and why they feared her so much.
So it happened, there was a large, full sized, kin that came from the east with the rising of the sun and would kick them around, steal their food and bully them into doing hunting for them. Being so young they had no choice but to spend time hunting for the larger kin.
Deciding to put a stop to this she waited and on the morning of the following day she confronted the kin. He had the advantage with the sun at his back and ended up chasing her off. Not letting it end there she sat down and came up with a plan. Taking some vines, she coiled them so in a manner that blocked the sun but allowed her to see, much like a visor. Her second attempt to confront the brute went better but he was still able to chase her off, even with the ability to see this time. Realizing she was going to have to gain the upper hoof in this she gathered some large flowers and doused them in water. Letting them freeze overnight she tucked the now Crystalline flowers into the vines and prepared herself for the kins approach. As the sun rose and the brute appeared she tilted her head, exposing the crystal flowers to the sun allowing their reflective surface to shine the light back into the kins eyes. This caused him distress and temporarily blinded him, allowing him to be beaten quickly.
For the next three mornings they met and for the next three days the crystal flowers she created blinded him. Trounced the Kin was chased off and left the territory to never come back.
Thankful for her help the Totoma named her after the Crystalline Flowers she had created and used to gain the advantage against her larger foe. And thus she was named Crystal Flowers.
