Katsuko took a deep breath and tried again. 'It's me, Katsuko... If you can hear me then please stop what you're doing! Mizuki said you guys already noticed we're gone, so you must be worried, but I'm okay. I found out some new information that's going to be vital to any plan we might make, but the thing is, it can't be shared out loud. Whatever plan we make that we speak about, Shion's going to hear it. I hate this, but we can't do this on our own... We need someone who knew what Shion was doing, and worked with her on equal footing.' She pause before continuing. 'If you can hear me... You know it's really me...' She opened her eyes as she hesitantly awaited a response, not expecting them to react well. She didn't like the sound of it either, but she thought through all the options, and without help from their jail keeper, they'd be going in blind. Going in blind is never a good idea.
((No worries; I can't wait for your next post! I've started looking at images and in particular images for masato's demon form. I've found a few pretty good ones, and thought of a few ideas because of them razz ))

Masato, seemingly out of no where, grabbed Yuzuki's hand and pulled her into an embrace. He intended to just pull her to the side and make her look at him, but his incubus instincts made him pull her into an embrace. He looked down at her, a soft expression on his face. "There is a reason I'm on their wanted list; a reason that has nothing to do with Shion." He looked away, seeming ashamed; when he looked away he looked towards the group of twins again, but wasn't totally focusing on them like he was before. He let go of Yuzuki & took a step back, looking straight at her again. "It's the same reason that I'd say it was too dangerous for me to have a relationship.... I know I never really went into much detail when I told you that... So, I'll tell you now." After a moment's hesitation, he unwrapped the bandages that were covering his eyes. Even though Yuzuki would've never seen them there before, after removing the bandages there were demon horns on Masato's head. Turning to the side, he slowly took off his shirt, revealing his back, and the wings attached to it.
"I only sealed my demon half completely when I found out that Shion was after your brothers... Before that, and now again, I... needed to feed to survive." He was more ashamed of how he was doing so all those years behind Yuzuki's back than anything. "I cant fully control my instincts... If I were to have a relationship, I might end up sucking the life out of them.. I'd probably be consumed by the passion I felt for that person, unlike when I would feed in the past; which I would always leave them alive...." He looked at Yuzuki without turning his head, completely unsure how she was going to react. He looked genuinely ashamed of the actions he took in order to survive as he recalled them. "I never knew how to seal my demon side until more recently.." He added in a lower tone, his voice cracking a bit. He looked away again, making sure the twins were still there. In the next moment, he looked exactly like the picture displays him, from Yuzuki's point of view (Except for the little bumps at the back of his neck, he doesn't have those lol; and of course with a matching wing on the other side). ((I thought I might give you a bit more incentive to post, since you started to post again and stuff made me want to get into this again lol; I also just really wanted to do this xD))

Jayden closed his eyes and thought "Okay, what do we need to do?" shocking, not only himself but Akira, Jayden, and Sora. He was a bit shocked when Akira and Sora tuned in with their thoughts agreeing with her. "Leah?" he asked when she didn't want to hear Katsuko's plan.Aaleah shook her head with a small glare, feeling a bit betrayed by her brother. 'First time seeing a pretty girl and he's hooked.' Seeing that this was her time, Aaleah turned and ran into the forest for cover, not bothering to say anything. 'I can do this on my own!'Jayden cursed in his head, where the twins all heard. He didn't want his sister on her own, but he didn't want to call after her and alert the wrong people, namely Shion since she could be anywhere.Sora, seeing the problem ran after Aaleah quickly, they could not be alone, they needed to be with someone to stand a chance he thought following a few feet behind the younger girl. Yuzuki was in heaven when Masato grabbed her into a tight embrace, her mind going miles a minute and shutting down at the same time, especially after the expression on his face. As she listened, she grew sad that Masato had bared so much pain on his own, understanding quickly what he meant.
The moment Masato showed his true form Yuzuki gasped, shocked at what she saw. She gently stepped towards Masato, a soft look in her eyes and a light blush on her cheeks. Slowly, so she did not startle her long time crush, she touched his cheek and slowly turned his head so that he looked directly at her. "Oh, Mato-tan," she muttered softly as a small smile played on her lips. "You've done so much and I understand what you've had to do. But," she paused staring into his eyes. For the first time ever, Yuzuki had such seriousness and determination in her eyes that Masato had probably never seen before "That doesn't matter to me. I will always and forever wait for you. I...I love you," she blushed "Nothing you tell me will change that. I hope one day you will come to have a relationship with me because I am not scared of you and I know you'd never hurt me." Quickly, before she changed her mind or Masato pulled away, Yuzuki leaned up and captured Masato's lips in a kiss. Something she had wanted to do for years. ((And the plot thickens!!!))

'Guys? What's going on? We need to get Masato for information. Kaiko's not the only one being held captive by Shion right now. We have to help them all...' Katsuko thought to them all. She felt Mizuki nudge her, then whisper in her ear. She nodded at Mizuki & relayed the information to the twins, 'Mizuki says she has something that might explain why Masato seemed to suddenly change sides. She says it's important that Akira and Sora see it.'Mizuki held her hand up in the air, and teleported the letter Masato gave to her and Raiko when they first encountered him in the forest to her. She then teleported another piece of paper to her. "This explains a lot more than I realized..." She muttered.Masato's eyes widened at Yuzuki's reaction. He blushed at her confession, and his eyes widened a bit more upon feeling her lips upon his. He didn't pull away, though. Instead, he wrapped his arms around her, and kissed her back. Unknowingly, he took a little bit of energy from her, just enough to get his natural regenerative powers going. When he realized, he pulled away, startled by his instincts.

'Uh, well Aaleah ran off and Sora chased after her.' He thought back. "I, I'm sure Sora will bring her back I'll stay with Akira. What are we going to do? What proof do you guys have?' Jayden asked in his thoughts.Yuzuki put her hand to her head. "Woah, a rush." she giggled a bit. With an impish smile, Yuzuki said "Mato-tan, we will look into this late." she winked and skipped up to him grabbing his arm. "Hey Mato, there looks to be 2 less twins...." she trailed off.

Masato turned and looked at the twins when Yuzuki pointed out that two wandered off. "I'll find them." He said to Yuzuki, before noticing Kyumia dive down at the forest. "Or not." He mused. He looked at Yuzuki with a gentle expression, a matching smile on his face, which is out of place only because he normally doesn't look at Yuzuki with this expression, especially around others. His eye has been healed by his regenerative powers, and he can see out of it again; the larger wound is slowly closing as well.Kyumia looked at the light for a bit to determine if she was right. She nodded in affirmation then looked down. Seeing Aaleah and Sora go off, she dove down to land in front of them. "Wait! I found Kylee, and that means Maia's nearby. Maia can track them down!" She announced loudly, proud at her deduction.Lorelei looked at the twins with a sigh. "Aaleah.." She said to no one, as she wasn't close enough for them to hear her. She sat down and watched the group. She looked over at Yuzuki and Masato, remembering that they were there, before looking back at the twins. "Are you really their sister?" She spoke to the elf.Katsuko looked at Mizuki. 'It looks like a letter of some sort, I can read it to you guys? It would seem some of it's in code; she teleported a letter and another piece of paper, so the other paper is probably a cipher.'Mizuki held the paper and letter out towards Katsuko. "We encountered Masato in the forest the other day, before we knew he was working with Shion. He gave me this letter. I had a device read it to me, and I thought what he was saying was a trick; it didn't make sense. Now it makes sense. Here, you can read it. Most of it's in a code I made with him before... before everything went wrong..." She explained, then sighed as she recalled how things were before Masato had presumably died.

"Hey," Sora yelled grabbing Aaleah's arm "You can't just run off like that." he said looking down on her since he was a bit taller.Aaleah was about to say some unsavory things to the boy that had the gall to grab her but Kyumia was in front of them before she could. Hearing what the older girl was saying she fake smiled "Great, you and pointy ears over here can go get her, I'll go back to everyone else." she lied convincingly. She was getting tired of being around people and missed having her small family.Sora looked at Aaleah like she was stupid, did she really think they would walk off leaving her when she ran off herself just a bit ago.Yuzuki glanced over at Lorelei before she sighed. Still leaning against Masato, she nodded. "Yeah, I am. I'm not much older than the boys. I also know its hard to believe that I disappear then reappear in their lives, but I always had eyes on them." she explained. She told a quick edited of how she was told to stay away from them for their safety, and how she made sure people were always around them to make sure they were safe and fed and together. "But it doesn't matter, Sora doesn't want me in his life and Akira is confused. But as long as they are ok, as long as what is left of my little family is alive, I can let them go and watch them from afar, like I've done for years." she said with a small smile that turned into a frown as she thought 'Well, maybe anyway.'"Whenever your ready. Also, are we going to repeat what you told us to anyone or does it stay between us?" Akira asked

Katsuko grabbed the papers and looked over them. 'It's probably best to keep it between us.' She responded to Akira as she read over the letter. 'First it says something about not trusting the red haired kid, because Shion has leverage over him...' She thought as she read the letter. She paused, though, startled by what she read next. 'I'm just going to tell, well, think to you guys what I'm reading as I read it.' She took a deep breath before continuing.
'I know who you're travelling with, Mizuki, and I need your help because of it. Soon enough, a pair of twins is going to stumble upon your group. If it's two girls, use them to lead you to another pair of twins; two boys. I can't protect them from Shion any longer; she's getting excited about what's to come, thus less patient with them. Find the elven boys and keep them safe, please. I know you, Mizuki, you can keep them all safe if you wanted to. I know you have no reason to help me, but Akira and Sora are innocent; they've done nothing to you. When you find them, keep an eye on them. Soon enough I'll come to watch over them again.
Don't ask questions,
Masato.'
Katsuko's eyes widened by the time she was done reading it. 'He knew that we were going to escape and where we would end up going that long before it happened?! Th-that means he really did let us escape, doesn't it? And it wasn't on some sort of whim....' She shivered at the thought 'That's kind of creepy...'Kyumia frowned at Aaleah. "Oh..." was all she said. She was disappointed that Aaleah seemed to be avoiding her. "I can just.. go on my own, then..." She turned away and prepared to take off into the air again.Lorelei shrugged her shoulders after Yuzuki finished speaking. "That sounds stupid, but alright. Whatever floats your boat and all, I guess." She smiled, amused a bit by what she said.Masato wrapped an arm around Yuzuki comfortingly, holding her close. He didn't say a word, however, and he watched the twins to see what they were doing.

Raiko stood up silently, he tugged the very edge of Mizuki's shirt to get her attention. Blushing Raiko place a hand on Mizuki's hip so she wouldn't turn and make them bump heads before he leaned in close and whispered into her ear since the young girl he attempted to kidnapped looked to be concentrating hard on doing whatever. Momentarily, her wondered what Katsuko was doing, but pushed it aside to tell Mizuki something important. "I-I think she told Masato." Raiko finally said after keeping to himself for almost a day and a half. "Between him and some missions that should have been successful that failed, I think he knew something and tried or is continuing to try and prevent it."Akira's eyes widened, 'N-no way! T-t-thats not possible!' Akira was about to turn to look at the culprit of the thoughts when he heard'Don't look, it'll make them suspicious and come over to see whats going on.To himself, Akira thought 'Jayden'. Taking a deep, slightly sudder-y breath Akira nodded. Right. So whats the plan. Sora went after Aaleah since she ran so only Jayden and I are here with Masato, Yuzuki, and Lorelei.' he reported.Jayden smirked lightly at how Akira acted like a mini Paladin in that moment. 'We need to think fast before we're questioned. Especially if Leah doesn't return soon. Lore may get suspicious and start interrogating or something. Jayden informed. He was already getting annoyed and upset that Aaleah is ruining a plan. Whether intentionally or unintentionally. Sora quickly butted in "Don't go, Aaleah is trying to run off on her own because no one wanted to listen to her stupid plan to get introuble." He said glaring at the girl, change the details a bit so they didn't get in trouble. "Since we came out in the woods and you know where Kaiko is, why don't we follow you?" Sora asked with a smile, especially after stressing the "we" so she knew that Aaleah needed to go with them. If she understood or not, Sora didn't really care. He would leave the brat anf go help find Kaiko in a heart beat. At least she was likable.Unknown to Sora, he accidentally projected his thoughts out and Aaleah heard. Her face was turning red from embarrassment and anger. She turned to walk off, only to 'trip' over a log and fall behind some bushes. Red in the face from falling, 'Aaleah' stood up and kept facing away from them. "Are we going for Kaiko or what?" she mumbled as she kicked the offensive log.

Mizuki didn't react much to Raiko's actions. Truth be told she didn't want to give him the satisfaction of her reacting to him at all after he deceived her. Despite this, the irritating fact is that she had no choice but to interact with him in order to further her own goals. She sighed.
"Well, if that elf girl really is the boys' sister, then of course he would've been trying to stop you from hurting them. He's always been irritatingly good natured and loyal. Always doing things for justice or whatever." She rolled her eyes at the thought. "My brother has always been extremely smart. His abilities make him the perfect plotter and perfect to carry out his plans. He could probably rival my aunt in such; though it seems my mother's the ultimate plotter. If he's anything like mom, I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who was using Shion and letting her think she was the one using him."Hearing Mizuki's description of her brother, a lot of things Masato had done when her, her sister, Akira, and Sora had been in Shion's clutches made a whole lot more sense. As she thought of them, she pointed them out to Akira, and Sora if he was in range. He would often give the boys more food to eat. Sometimes they'd be left unguarded at night, which she now realized was because Sora wasn't comfortable falling asleep with those guards around, in case they tried something he wanted to protect his brother; she knew that was how he felt because that's how she felt about Kaiko at the time. There were a few other things she thought of. There were probably more she could think of but she didn't bother; it was time to tell them a plan.
'First thing's first. Jayden, tag out with Sora and get your sister back. We need to all be in this together if we want any chance. If she's watching, Shion's probably caught on that we're communicating like this; I'm going out on a limb here and saying that this way of communicating is safe from her overhearing it. We need to play it smart. We can't let her know that we're going to trust Masato. And it'd be best if Shion thought Masato was still going to work with her, so... Sora and Akira, we need to try and turn your sister on Masato. This means you need to give her a chance to convince you and stuff. Then, when she trusts that you fully trust what she claims is true, plant seeds of doubt about Masato. Maybe Mizuki can help with that. Though I don't know if I trust her completely... but that Valkyrie girl was part of the paladins, and she's a Valkyrie. She could definitely help plant seeds of doubt about who Masato is. If Masato's as smart as Mizuki claims, he'll catch onto what we're doing. Hopefully Shion won't. That's a longer process, so, while thats being worked on, Jayden, Aaleah and I will work on the other part of the plan: infiltration. In order to save Kaiko and the other girl, we need to fool Shion on another front. Jayden and Aaleah, you need to come looking for us in a hurry. Look around near the mansion, for a small hole in the ground. Just in case this isn't safe from Shion's eavesdropping, I'm not going to tell you what my end of the plan is. But don't worry, I'll be fine. Us dragons are really smart, you know!' She nodded to herself in confidence. She went over to Mizuki and whispered to her, but she was speaking in code so Raiko's and anyone else who might be listening wouldn't understand.Mizuki didn't visibly react to what Katsuko said. The shadows consumed the papers Katsuko was looking at. Shadow wrapped around Katsuko suddenly and choked her until she passed out, but stopped before she was dead. "Pick her up and let's go. We're bringing her to my aunt for your sister. To hell with my mom's plan; to hell with ruining Shion's plans. These little brats aren't worth any of it."

 Raiko stared shocked at the unmoving form of Katsuko. Swallowing his nerves, Raiko nodded and picked the younger girl up. "Uh, Right. A-Are you sure? You seemed so against it before, I mean, I'm open to other ideas to help my sister." Raiko muttered. He never wanted to help Shion, but his only family left made him quickly throw his morals out the window. Now, with a potential option open, he was feeling bad about all the kids he helped capture and sell.Jayden and Akira nodded, a serious look on their faces. Jayden looked at Akira since he would have to leave while the other stayed, Akira needed to come up with a plan. Knowing Jayden would need a distraction to get into the forest, Akira took a deep breath and teleported the few feet to Lorelei. Unused to using his powers, Akira landed on top of Lorelei. Akira almost panicked, but the sitiation worked to his advantage and he attempted to teleport Lorelei and himself just inside the hole of the mansion to block her view from Jayden.Seeing his small opening, Jayden prayed whatever Akira did would work as he ran into the woods in the direction his sister and Sora went. Thinking hard to Sora, he yelled mentally Katsuko thought of a plan. I'm going with Aaleah though. You need to help your brother, he will explain your part of the plan! he yelled mentally. Make sure Aaleah is alone, we will not be coming back to camp, no one can follow us!Hearing the yell, Sora flinched. He was a bit upset since he wanted to be the one to go after Katsuko, but he knew how delicate the situation was knew his main priority was to get Kyumia to follow him back. "Kyumia! Quick!" He semi-yelled urgently "Jayden and Akira says there is a problem back at the mansion! Please, trust me. I will tell you how they told me after we get back with the others." Looking back and forth between the location of the mansion and Kyumia, Sora started shuffling towards the mansion. "Lorelei is coming for Aaleah, she will be here, but someone may be hurt. Please!" Not waiting for a reply, and hoping to be followed, Sora raced of back to the mansion.Aaleah was confused, she didn't hear anything from her brother or Akira, but the moment Sora said her sister was coming, the color drained from her face. "s**t, I'm dead." was all she could mutter out. She can already see her sister's anger at her leaving the group. "I guess Shion won't get what she wants, cause everyone will be planning my funeral." she said humorlessly to herself. She could try to make a run for it, but she has never outrun Lorelei before, and knowing knew now wouldn't make a difference. "If anything, running makes it worse, like a deer running from a wolf." she laughed dryly.

 " Shut up. Don't act like you know me at all. " Despite her being blind, one could tell that Mizuki's straight up glaring at Raiko. She grabs his shirt, then raises her hand into the air. Blue crystal surrounds them as she teleports them to her aunt.Lorelei's eyes widened in surprise. " What the hell, Akira?! What are you doing?! " She snapped." Huh..? " Kyumia mulls over it in her head. " Sora, don't go off on your own like that! " She yells after Sora. It was less that she believed him and more that he ran off that she decides to follow him.Masato watches Akira's display of teleportation. " Your brother doesn't know how to be subtle. " He states as he brushes his hair out of his face.

Nervous, Raiko nodded "Yeah. My bad." he muttered. Slightly disoriented from teleporting. Raiko looked around trying to see if his sister was near as the sound of children crying bounced off the walls. "Lets get this over."
Seeing her niece and pawn appear on her monitor, Shion laughed. Pressing a button on her speaker, Shion said "Dear niece, I see you have a delivery for me. Bring it to my office so we may begin negotiations." Shion knew her niece usually wants things in return and decided not to beat around the bush. "Quickly dear, I do not have all day. I will be up the stairs, 3rd door on the left." Leaning back, Shion waited, taking her illusion off her office door.
Akira chuckled nervously, "I, uh, saw a bee?" he asked ringing his hands together. "I think, uh I think its gone?" Getting off the older girl slowly, Akira rocked on his heels before holding out his hand. "I'm sorry? It was an accident, do you need help up?" he asked innocently with a small and nervous smile.
Raising an eyebrow, Yuzuki glanced at Akira and Lorelei. "Should we be concerned about what they are up to or let it play out?" she asked wondering where her other brother disappeared to until he came running out the woods towards herself and Masato.
Thinking Kyumia believed him, He skidded to a halt in front of Masato and asked "What happened? Is everything okay?" He was out of breath from running and hoped his acting wasn't too bad.
Hearing rustling, Aaleah turned to her fate only to see her twins head pop up from behind a bush. "Wha? Where's Lore?" she asked trying to see if said girl would appear at any moment.
"No time to explain. Lets go, we are going for Katsuko and Kaiko." He said as he looked behind hoping to put distance between them and the others. "Make a copy of us so we can get far enough away, I'll erase our scent and make us invisible to help us get away. We are looking for an underground hide away. That is where the girls should be."
Aaleah nodded and and made a clone of herself and her brother "Go back to camp. You guys will flickering and out of existence in 3 miles and disappear when we get about 5 miles away."
The clones nodded and jogged back towards camp as the real twins disappeared to find Mizuki's bunker.

Mizuki used her power over shadows to guide her as she goes up the stairs and to the 3rd door on the left. She remains holding onto Raiko's shirt as she walks. She stood in front of Shion's desk and looked at her aunt with a blank expression. "Release his sister."Lorelei glared at Akira. "Whatever, take us back to where we were. Now." She ordered.Kyumia skidded to a stop when she caught up to Sora. She scanned the area for signs of a battle or anything. "What kind of problem that isn't a battle would end up with someone possibly being hurt, exactly?" She glared at Sora.Masato ruffles his eyebrows at Sora. "..." He opened his mouth to say something, but stopped himself. He wanted too think this through before he said anything. "From what Kyumia said, it seems they did come up with a plan... The question is, what is their plan?" He thinks it over in his head. "Everything is fine." He finally responds with some uncertainty.

 Shion leaned back in her chair with a smirk. Waving her hand, The door behind the pair disappeared. "Why, that's...different." she hummed tapping a finger on her desk "Usually you want something for yourself, yet your helping this, boy. Very interesting. Alas, why should I release his sister? I only have two twins and I believe I asked for six. So what do you have for me to release the girl early? Especially a girl as special as this one?"Raiko watched as the door disappeared behind him and Mizuki. He listened to the conversation as dread filled him. He knew he wouldn't get his sister, especially not with less than half of the twins in his possession. He appreciated Mizuki's help, but he doubted she could do or have anything to help free his sister. . Realizing he teleported them farther in than intended, Akira fidgeted nervously "I can't. I can't control my powers too good and I don't teleport well under pressure and I'm too tried and don't have the energy too." Akira rambled off excuses as to why he couldn't teleport them back. Even though they would get outside in about two minutes or less if they walked, he stalled for as much time as possible.Sora shrugged, but felt guilty for lying "I don't know. That's what Jayden told me." he said, throwing the boy under the proverbial bus. "He said it was urgent and someone was hurt and to find you since you can heal." Even though he felt bad, Sora knew this had to be done to save the girls. 'At least Jayden will get some heat for this' he thought smugly.Unsure of what to do, Yuzuki remained quiet as she watched, eyebrow raised as the scene unfolded.
