Delanna listened close to conversations nearby. Some guy was about to get a girl to the Strawberry Fields. If that was back in her town, that line would've been a clear hint the guy was going to rape her. She then heard her sister Emma tell a guy she loved him. She smiled at her sister's happiness, glad that she did but a little saddened that Delanna still couldn't even find her own. A quick tear ran down her face, then another. She was used to it since it happened a lot. She was emotional naturally. She waited for the tears to dry, like they always did. She fell onto her back and started at the sky. All she saw was a bunch of blobs and fluffs, never any shapes. Ever since she was claimed she thought she was pretty stupid for an Athena kid. She wasn't that creative for an Athena kid, but she had learned to accept it.

Rex Holans, Son of Hermes xxxxx Rex looked around and noticed it was getting pretty dark out. Yawning, Rex stepped away and waved at everyone. "I'm gonna head back to my cabin. I'm exhausted," he said. To back up his argument, another yawn escaped from his mouth. Laughing, Rex turned away to go back to his cabin. "We have to do this again some time, we really must." With that, Rex walked off the beach and to his cabin for some much needed rest. (Exit)

If he wasn't there, she would probably just stay there. Maybe meet some new people. She wiped her eyes, got up, and began to walk away. She decided to start running, wanting to find her friend as soon as possible. Or anyone to talk to. She paused, dried her cheeks, then continued running. She stopped, turned back around, and decided just to sit by the beach. She really needed someone there for her. Someone who would love her. Christopher was just a friend. She hugged her legs and rocked back and forth.

She saw a nice looking guy talking to her. She slightly smiled at him. "Hey, I'm Delanna. Sure, we can talk. And yeah, pretty lonely, I guess," she said, with a small chuckle. It made her laugh because of her thoughts right before the attractive guy came up to her. Could he really think she was pretty? Was it possible she could get over the one person who had given her hell? Maybe this guy was the answer. There was always a possibility.
