"b*****d..." archer whispered. He recognized him from his home town, but did not know from where exactly. He turned to look in the streets, and slashed as an arrow headed for his chest. It was averted, and the bowman got cut down as Archer lept off the roof.

The walls of Sin's room exploded outwards as two forms few out of the smoke. Sin rode the Maharan warrior out of the blast, the fall, and the impact on the ground. Stepping off the man he looked about at the chaos around him. The city was in flames and everyone was running and shouting about how they were all doomed and everyone was going to die.
Sighing Sin looked about for Issilida with out much hope of finding her. Closing his eyes he took a deep breath and opened them again. He looked at the nearest wall and took off at a sprint.
"figures it would be that one... well if Issilida wants to find me... then this little bit of finesse will most certainly catch her attention."
As he approached the walls he saw the last remaining warriors directly trying to fight off the ground and air attacks on the wall. The soldiers that couldn't run gathered together and formed small groups on the wall.
As Sin reached the tower he jumped up and began striding up the side of the wall towards the top. Grabbing the edge Sin held on for a moment, His back towards the center of the city, and stopped, just hanging there, as the battle raged on around him. Taking another deep breath he flipped over the edge and onto the parapets. Hoping no one saw him he rushed forwards to the center and slammed his fists in to the stone. The markings he made earlier in the night suddenly flared up and the large rune sigil appeared in the stone.
This action caused several things. Fist it expanded the rune with small lines of fire that formed into smaller symbols that glowed and began to from objects. The second thing it caused was grabbing the attention of many of the combatants around the tower. The last thing it caused was something that more then just the combatants around the tower noticed.
Each seal that had formed off the main one, many on the edge of the tower and along its walls, what looked like large tubes filled with some sort of thick chemical. Each line leading to the tubes burned quickly and without further ado Sin turned, as many of the maharan warriors dived for him, and ran over the edge of the guard tower and free fell downwards to the floor as the top and sides of the tower exploded.
The explosions however were not just fire and heat, each of the tubes, as they lit, sent out massive showers of sparks and flares. The sparks nearly covered the entire length of the wall and a few of the maharan warriors took the full blast of the flares and fell like rocks, plummeting towards the ground. The others managed to fly out of range as they rubbed their eyes trying to get their vision back. Several began to try and fly over the flares but the rising heat and ash made aerial flight over the sparks nearly impossible.
Those on the ground were blinded and burned as the flares and sparks were so close to them all they could do was fall down wherever they were and hope nothing hit them directly on.
Sin hit the floor of the ground and yelled in pain as he felt a sharp stabbing pain in one of his feet. Trying to ignore the pain he kept his eyes closed and ran forwards down the street, blind and stumbling forwards.
“ISSILIDA!!!”
He shouted as he ran, suddenly tripping and falling to what he hoped was the side of the street that he was on.
“ISSILIDA!!!”
He rolled to the side and hit something solid. He opend his eyes and only saw shadowy blurred movement and he quickly closed them again. He withdrew into a fetal position and tried to rub away the tears the flares had caused. Hearing only screams and shouts of panic and fear, he curled up within himself more and clamped his hands over his ears. It didn’t help as the sounds kept making their way into his ears and the tears comeing from his eyes weren’t caused by the flares.
“Someone… help me…”
((So as long as you don't get too close and look directly at the fireworks display everyone should be fine... it covers a good length of the wall and has enough gunpowder to keep going for a bit. Oh and it's not something that makes execptions for friend or foe))

When the tower exploded taking both maharans and azerians down with it Issildia looked away, shielding her eyes from the flare of light. Though as she was distracted by this one of the enemy soldiers rose up behind her and prepared to drive his sword through her torso, but suddenly twelve cloaked figures dropped down from the tower above and immediately cut down the soldier.
It took only a moment before Issildia recognized who they were...it seemed that some of the survivors of the attack at Anier had made it to Faltora.
"Nae saian luume Shaalth Nevar" spoke the leader of the group who was garbed in armor of a green hue.
"Ardain." she said in surprise after recognizing the former leader of the guard from Anier. "Mankoi naa lle sinome?"
"Our city may be gone, but myself and my men still follow the queen." Ardain replied.
"Indeed." muttered Issildia.
Ardain then bowed slight, "You are the ranking officer...what are our orders?"
At that moment Sin's shout reached Issildia ans she turned abruptly. She made only the slightest sign with her left hand in signal to the twelve anierians as she disappeared into the darkness; the anierian warriors instantly darting away and out of sight.
Merely a matter of moments later Issildia reappeared beside Sin just in time to decapitate an attacking enemy soldier with a swift horizontal slice.
As this transpired twelve cloaked forms dropped down to surround Sin and Issildia. "Still no finesse." she said with a brief laugh as she dropped to a knee. "You are wounded." Issildia said as she caught one of his hands. "Do not move."
"Caela ie'lle." Issildia told Ardain and his warriors, immediately they closed in slightly on Issildia and Sin to better protect them.
"Hold still." she warned again before her eyes took on a lighter hue than normal. There was a subtle flare of pale silver light about Issildia hand as Sin's wounds began to heal and close up leaving little to no scarring.
Little more than a minute later she released him and stood.
"That should do for now..." she said stiffly before her eyes narrowed slightly. "What did you think you were doing, you will be no use to anyone if you end up killing yourself!"
(Anierian translations~ "Nae saian luume Shaalth Nevar" = "It has been to long Lieutenant Nevar" "Mankoi naa lle sinome?" = "What are you doing here" "Caela ie'lle." = "keep guard"

DarkRaven1217 "Perhaps, but such is the way of things." Lizzera uttered as her form seemed to phase out of the corporeal plane into the very element that she commanded. His attack meriting no result as she returned to a physical form. "So you Dagaal would be the one to strike me down, you who carries the blood of Anier within yourself...how ironic." At that moment Lizzera gestured forwards and a torrent of wind, laced with blade like manifestations of air tore forwards at him. ~Dagaal began to spin his blade in a motion that resembled a windmill to avoid the mainstream of her attack. His arms tearing open in various spots, he continued to speak with her, almost as if the pain did not faze him at all.~My Anierian blood as run cold. Such is the price of death. You will now meet with the same fate. Now is your time, may you go in peace.~With that, Dagaal suddenly struck forward his body once again becoming one with the very flames he commanded. The flames suddenly spiralled around Lizzera in what seemed to be some form of Tornado, which spanned as far as the heavens above. Dagaal's blade was seen within the flames, as she was trapped inside the inferno. It disappeared and reappeared in various locations as if the blade was its own entity, stalking her as it moved in for the final strike.~

~Palace: Emperor's Quarters~ ~Nicholas was observing the battle from his place in his quarters when the air to his rear suddenly dropped in temperature. He knew all too well who had now shared the chamber with him, and of his plans. He was more concerned with the fate of his people than his own well-being. He made no efforts to acknowledge his presence until the bass of his voice began to echo within his ears.~It has been a long time comrade.Three thousand years Akurei. Why have you come here?I'm sure you already know the answer to that question. Therefore I will not drag this out longer than it should. You can either return my talisman and live, or refuse and die. Either way, I will know what you saw in the Tower of Truth. The knowledge contained within the Tower is not of that which you should wield. You cannot fathom the truths held within its structure.Do not toy with me Nicholas. You stand on dangerous ground here this day.Dangerous, perhaps. Although there is one thing you have forgotten about the Tower of Truth...that area was once Keirdonian territory. The information contained within is written in a language that only we can decipher. You are beginning to lie like the humans. What?I have seen the contents within the Tower of Seeds. Their language is the same as my race. The Angellos Arcanus.

Sin didn't say anything as he just sat there and kept his eyes closed.
"sorry... I'm sorry..."
He muttered not moveing and opening his eyes tenderly.
"can bearly see though... need to get to the other towers... need to activate the other runes..."
His voice had a defeated sound to it as he slowly stood up leaning agenst the wall of the building. The flashes and bangs from the tower he was just at still resounding over the battlefeild.
"wow I guess I did that...."
slowly his hand lifted up, almost as if it had a will of it own, and streached outwards. With a sudden movement and a resounding 'SMACK' Sin brought his hand right at his face and punched himself whipping his head in the direction of the punch. Several moments of silence, as silent as the battlefeild got, and Sin remained faceing away from the punch. After a few seconds of silence Sin looked over at Issilida.
"thanks... that would have been a problem, my ankle..."
Smileing again he stood up stright and looked over at his handy work at the tower.
"Sweet! It worked! Normally I just get a small localized sun if it doesn't work, but MAN! that is so much better!"
He turned back to Issilida and felt his cheek.
"huh? Oh... crap... I didn't do anything embarrasing while I was tuned out did I?"

"If fate calls for my death then so be it, but do not think that your past life was all for naught; be you a Horseman or not...you are still anierian, and you still have purpose beyond what is dictated by your station." Lizzera said calmly as she neglected to defend herself against his attack. A thin line of blood appeared on her face as she dropped the shields that she had surrounded herself with.
"You will come to understand this before the end Dagaal...Tenna' ento lye omenta." Lizzera said this as she closed her eyes; the cyclone of wind that she had summoned earlier suddenly fell in upon itself, bringing with it the inferno that Dagaal had brought into being.
There roar of the flames consumed the former queen of Anier in a rising crescendo before all fell silent...and nothing remained of Lizzera Matier but ash...granting the fallen queen the same fate as her beloved city...

"Do not be a fool..." Issildia said before her voice faded off as a disturbing wave of energy passed through them, only she and the twelve Anierian warriors seemed to sense this as they turned to look to the south.
"It can't be." spoke Ardain with sorrow before his eyes narrowed and he signaled to the others. "To the queen." he uttered lowly as the twelve suddenly darted away, overtaking the rooftops as they raced towards the south. Issildia looked almost as if she would follow them but she quickly looked back to Sin. "Destroying the towers will hurt Faltora as much as it would aid it...we need to organize the Faltorian soldiers in order to secure the borders once again."

"The towers still there it's just that there is so many flares and explosions around the area that it's essentially out of the picture in terms of the battle..."
Sin stood up looking about at the situation.
"The West tower is now out of the picture, not destroyed, but out of the picture... I don't know what happened Issilida, but if this queen of yours was at one of the gates we should head to the other ones to help secure the city as a whole... those others you were with should be able to handle themselves right?"
He felt his ankle and then looked back at her.
"I have other seals prepared at the north, south and eastern towers as well, if you can get me to those the defense of the city will certainly be much easier..."
He smiled at her as he figured out where to go next.
"don't worry their not as bad as that one"
He jerked his thumb in the direction towards the western tower, still exploding and sending off showers of sparks, then frowned.
"but... if you need to go to attend this queen of yours... then go, I'll do the best I can until you can, hopefully, give me some support..."
He pointed towards the Eastern wall.
"I'll be there, if you see the white fire then head to the northern gate, that’s where I'll head next... So if you need to go, then go..."
He left the statement hanging as he headed towards the walls, his fists clenched. He slapped his hands together and shifted their position and felt the ember blood seal unlock. Crouching down he burst off, running, and headed to the walls.

"There is little that can be done for her now." Issildia said softly refering to Lizzera before she turned back to the northern gates. The azerians had managed to push the enemy troops back, but much more had to be done before this section of the city would be secure. Issildia then leapt up to the stone stair that lead up to the upper sections of the walls, there she found a number of wounded faltorian soldiers, many of them taken out with either a well places spell or arrow fire. But among them was a contingent of Faltorian archers that were attempting to tend to their wounded.
"Leave them, your duty is to this city." she said in a bitter tone. They looked at her with weary expressions. "The city is taken!" their leader answered, a wounded celtarie warrior slumped against the interior wall of an arrow slot. "Whether that be true or not, I need all that are able to come with me." She then took a bow and quiver from where a number of such items lay scattered about the ground.
~No less than a matter of minutes later Issildia along with twenty Keirdonian archers were positioned behind the azerians as they held back the enemy tide.
The tips of the strung arrows all burned with a dark fire that Issildia had cast to make their attack more effective. She gave a brief nod in signal, at that moment the azerians retreated back allowing the enemy soldiers to advance, though they did not make it far.
"Fire." breathed Issildia as there was a collective hiss of bow strings. Not an arrow was wasted as each sunk into its target nearly to the fletching. Those that were struck by the arrows began to scream out in pain as the wound began to hiss and corrode away as if acid had been cast upon it.
Even so the hoard kept coming, "Volley on my mark." said Issildia as she lowered her bow and raised her left hand. At this the back line of archers released their arrows, which arced high above the enemy soldiers and landed in the middle of their ranks. when the arrows met with the ground after striking down their targets the flames at their tips flared into an inferno as the spell worked into the arrow heads activated, effectively splitting the current group of soldiers in half as the pale silver fire raced outwards.
As this happened Issildia set the bow on the ground and drew her blade, this action was copied by the waiting Azerian warriors as they tore down the center of the already split group of soldiers dividing them even more so to make the act of defeating them all the easier.

Like the last tower Sin never broke stride as he ran at the tower and, with a clean jump, ran up it's walls. Getting to the topmost part of the tower He ran to the center, like the last one, and slammed his palms down on the stone, activating the rune. As the circle appeared it remained as a burn mark in the stone and Sin adjusted his position so he was in the center of the circle. Looking over the circle he counted the number of smaller runic circles, all placed at intervals around the main circle.
"ten, eleven, and... crap... where’s twelve!?!?"
Running over to the center top portion of the circle he realized that he must have forgot the seal when he was making it last night. Heading over the edge of the tower he looked down at Issilda and her archers as they fought the horde.
"ISSILDA!!! I MESSED UP THE RUNEIC CIRCLE, I NEED A MININUT OR TWO TO FIX THE IMBALACE IN THE SEAL, KEEP HOLDING THEM OFF!"
He finished shouting and ran back to the northern most portion of the seal and blew on his finger, like last night the fingertip glowed with a soft ember light and he began to slowly draw the last circle in the pattern.
"calmly now... this one I think will show her what little fineness that I posses..."

((nothing has happened on Grevious's and Zeno's end, but Issilida's group traveled out of the forest and got attacked on route to the city, After Sins.... theatrical escape from the battle the group made it to the city and pretty much spend the night there. Then in the morning the city came under attack by forces that Mikairyu Nocturnus has created... I think one of the four horsemen is at the western gate but I'm not exactly following, trying though, anyway, the characters are running around the city defending parts of it and whatnot, Sins being... well Sin, and Issilida's queen just died I think sweatdrop right now Sin and Issilida are at the northern gate and sin is just about ready to launch his next big attack, the first one being a horde of fireworks all along the eastern wall twisted
oh and I think Reinsen's army came under attack as well as the city
if I missed anything just say something everyone))

Grevious watched the long plume of smoke make its way towards the heavens as he stood on a tree branch watching the it rise. He was holding what looked to be a hollow branch with a few thin circles of ice in the center. While this wasn't the best spy glass he roughtly viewed the battle and was about to jump back down towards his traveling companion.
"Looks like Sin's handywork.... but which side is he on? That idiot probly forgot all about his mission...."
He slighed and tossed the branch into the forest.
"what great force in this world ever allowed him to be a fury?"
With that he jumped dowards towards his camp and looked for Zeno.
"Zeno It's time to Go! We have to move fast if were to make to the battle in time..."

Archer felt weak after many of their attacks landed on their marks, but he roared as he jumped, knocking back all of the arrows that had just been flying. He cleaved a soldier through his torso, and jumped off of him, pulling El from the corpse. He flew high, hoping to draw attention to himself. He raised his palms, and as a group of Some Maharans entered between the two buildings, Archer clapped, and the two buildings collided into eachother, and crumpled into debris, killing a few of the surrounding warriors. Archer turned, and swooped down onto another rooftop, and looked out. "Issildia! Sin! Khastur!" He wanted to reach anyone of his companions. "Marley!" He turned, and faced the blade of a Maharan. He froze. El was a bit clunky in close combat, and he was too tired after his last use of his powers. The Maharan smiled grimly, the blood dropping off of his armor from a former enemy.
