The girls were the unconscious children. Hashmal's magic had been powerful, and all but those girls and boys who were in the upper teenage range of their years (not many, though) had managed to remain awake, like Farfarello and Raedou and Perrault and the caster herself. Most of the older girls wanted nothing to do with the 'weirdos.' The young men, however (of whom there were only two; one limping rather badly) obliged Raedou. They had not been running around; had not been doing anything but protecting their younger sister, who was now asleep.
The flatulence failed to cease. It kept coming and coming... such as a perpetual Great Storm of stench. Worse, in some ways, for they fed the children nothing but chili. In Rantuinne, it was a stale, jerky-tough chili, much different from the delicious blend of the Korubiinos.

Raedou's calmness soon turned to anger. He did not take it out on the children, but on the Draon.
"What were you thinking, knight?!" he hissed, "Do you realize how much more difficult our job will be?!
He then spun around and ran over to help the boy with the limp walk without applying too much pressure on his foot.
((We're never gonna get out of here... rofl ))
-----
Perrault's ears went numb. He turned beet-red and stared at the princess in awe. He felt the world around him slow down, and his heart began to pound.
Perrault Terris was in love.

"Who are you?" Calisto weakly demanded of the twitterpated elf.
"I'm Farfarello." The demon bowed, "A pleasure to make you're acquaintance, Princess."
Calisto was stunned. "Princess!?" Has my cover been blown? She thought, fear beginning to well up inside of her.
((OooooMG rofl ))

((This isn't Techni's character any longer, but I already know what she would have done. She would have replied, yes, then waited ten seconds before realizing that her cover was blown. Happy-go-lucky, airhead, that sort of thing. If you don't want her, I can play her... though I'd rather not, admittedly.))

((Airhead? She came on to me as the snappish type...)) ((No, I'll play her. Unless anyone thinks they can do it better? [And wants to?]))

Perrault blushed even deeper.
"M-My name..." he stuttered, "My name... My name is... Perrault..."
He quickly turned away and breathed into his hand to smell his breath. It smelled fine, so he turned back to the princess.
"W-We're friends of Raedou's..." he gulped, "We've come to... rescue you..."

(I already have Elysia to be my airhead...)
Hashmal looked back at the Ganzi, "I'm afraid you've mae one error in your assumptions, Ganzi. I could truly care less about those who try to slow us down. However, I am taking your side upon this, as to travel alone for me would most likely be very bad for everyone in this desert as I carve a path of gore and bodies through the desert."
Hashmal started to drift off in a daze, "Rivers of Horde blood sliding along the sands... glorious revenge." She gave a sigh. "Anyways, I could care less of these humes that don't appreciate us. We should leave them to rot in this prison... after they awaken, of course. Also, there seems to be an abundance of methane now."
Apparently Hashmal was immune to the smell. unsurprising, as she reeked from years without bathing.

"We've come." Farfarello annunciated.
"...Where's Jaeto?" Calisto was suddenly a bit worried, "And what is he?"
Farfarello offered his own answer, "Oh, just your local princess-rescuing... secret-keeping... denizen of Hell..."
((Doing good?))

Perrault spun around and slapped the demon on the side of his head.
"Shut up, Far!" he yelled.
He then turned back to the princess.
"Jaeto is... probably still asleep in the caravan..." he said, barely remembering who Jaeto was.

"What was that for!?" Farfarello snarled, then remembered that he needed to make a good impression on the Princess and assumed what he thought was a friendlier countenance. It failed as miserably as a brick suspended in midair.
"Let me see him," Calisto said, beginning to come around.
((Thanks SPI ^^)) ((Don't you have Jaeto, Kaye?))

"And I'm Hashmal, Dark Knight of the Gravity mines, Scourge of the eastern lands, slaughterer of the Horde... I have a lot of titles like that... I'm basically here to help Radeou while we travel. I also must break a shard at the southern shrine..." The Dark Knight said, hoisting up three knocked out children by their ankles with one hand.
"Look, Ganzi! it's a Fali Fruit!" she chortled.

((No... Z does.))
Perrault went silent for a bit.
"We, uhh..." he looked around at the children, "Kinda have a rescue issue to take care of..."

Farfarello was giddy, happy to oblige but not wanting to be overly-helpful and overbearing.
