Aeris turns around and leans back against the wall, shoulders shrugging lightly.
"I cant really say for sure why, but this place is my home, its where my family is and where I feel in love. I know TJ will make it back someday, and I'll do what I can to help. I guess its hope that keeps me here, keeps me going. Hope that things will eventually get better again." She lifts her hand and lightly brushes a few strands of hair away from her face. "This place has caused me a lot of pain, but, at the same time, there are a lot of good memories too. I cant give up Than. I have to be strong to protect you, and Aileen. So.. here I stay, for better or worse."

*Than listens intently. He sighs at the conclusion* I see.... fine then. For now I will wait until Mastema comes after me. *He takes a few steps toward her and stumbles a bit, he seemed out of energy* Just do one thing.... do your best.... to understand my... Thanatos's pain. Whatever pain he feels..... is involuntarily forced upon me. *The broken shackles are welded back together and his cloth return to their normal state. Than falls forward, hair changing back to blue in mid fall, and lands on the couch*

Aeris pushes herself off of the wall and rushes over to Than when she notices him stumble. A quick flick of her wrist, and the shadows below him lift up and help support Than momentarily until Aeris can make her way over to him. She gently slides her hands about his waist and a smile brushes over her lips. "Thank you." She whispers softly as she helps move him to the couch. "I will do everything I can to help..."

hehe ^^ *smiles a bit himself and nods* Well.... least we know something more about him than we did before..... I'll do my part to keep check on him. I'm sure Slayer will think of something when he comes as well. *He looks Than over and then back to Aeris* I just remembered.... Than could bring TJ back..... he has Mastema's lance. All we need now is for Slayer to teach him how to do it.... Then it's just a matter of time I think.

A broader smile slips over Aeris's lips when she hears that and she glances back to Axl. "Well, thats at least some good news there. I do worry though, if Mastema knows Than has the lance, theres a chance he might try to take it. We'll have to keep a close eye on Than and the lance and keep them safe."

yah. I wouldn't worry too much though..... really... I think Mas gave it to him. That's the next big question I guess... what Mastema had planned for the kid. But hey.... I ain't letting him hurt my future brother in law.... after my dad comes back that is. *he chuckles* You and my dad are still engaged right? Hope I haven't slipped out of sync that much xp
