Good point. xd Plus, the scythes... He's probably got a higher AC when ambushed than when normally attacked, too. /D&Djoke AC = Armor Class. It's how powerful an attack needs to be to hurt you. You have an AC for when you're being attacked normally, and an AC for when you're ambushed (flat-footed AC). The latter should be lower, but one of my friends somehow made a character once with a higher flat-footed AC, and every nerdy friend I've mentioned that to has found it sick that that's even possible.
