I'm back from my trip to Phoenix. In fact I've been back since monday.
sweatdrop I've just been tired and catching up on things so I haven't had time to carry my thoughts out very well.
I'm in fact just reposting most of this post from somewhere else.
My trip was good, and so was the wedding I attended.
Though, I think I lost 1%-2% of my lungs or something from all the second hand smoking.
gonk As much as I love my family smoking is something I can't stand.
Yet for some damn reason I always make friends or have family that are smokers.
sweatdrop But during the trip I realised how ******** small this world of ours is.
rofl Saturday I had plans to visit my childhood friend up in Tempe, but also to drop off a treadmill at my Cousin Nate and his wife Dominique's place.
Getting onto the freeway, not even off the on ramp and dad's windshield gets hit by a pebble, making a quarter size indent with spider-leg cracks right in front of the passenger seat.
Mom was pissed, dad and I were all, "Oh, well, there's nothing that can be done now."
Dad and I were teasing that it was my fault, and I acting sad. Then just laughing about it.
lol After dropping of the treadmill off in Scottsdale, the folks dropped me off at my friends apartment.
No more then twenty minutes there, Elissa gets a call from her friend saying he's coming over to pay her his phone bill, as he is using one of her cellulars.
She tells me that they became friends at Gameworks where she worked for a short time. (clue one)
She says his name is Jeremie. (clue two)
(I should've put the two together or at least asked what his last name was.
After all, Jeremie is a rather common name so I didn't think about it.)
He walks in, he and I look at each other, and just bust out laughing.
rofl She was confused how we knew each other, and together we said "We're cousins. He and I are cousins."
rofl She became friends with my cousin, the oldest of the five grandkids, and I the youngest.
lol Talk about a small ******** world.
rofl The next day, Sunday, at the wedding. My aunt comes over and tells me Jeremie came over to her house last night, and told her about what happened.
My friend even met my aunt, and at that time fiance(now husband) months ago for dinner.
My aunt asked my friend where she was from, she says, "Desert Hot Springs".
My aunt replies, "No!! No ones from Desert Hot Springs!"
Because you see, my grandparents moved my dad and aunt to desert hot springs when they were kids.
Then when I was eight, dad moved the family from Norwalk, Ca to Desert Hot Springs.
I'm just so ******** surprised how small this world is.
lol It's a small world after all!!
