HA, yeah, sorry ... don't kill me... xd Yeah. Seriously everywhere in Ann Arbor doesn't have extras ... which is weird cuz Vault always has 5 plus in the extras for each week. Want me to snag you a comp? They ship us a box since it's ours. I think there's a couple left still. It's hard for me to say anything too bad against classic Batman. There are things I sort of ignore or skip over, but there's soooo much that just to die for.

I want to head in the direction of the Neil Adams stuff featuring Ra's Al Ghul (which is probably fairly obvious).

That's pretty much the direction I would point, although I'm a big fan of the Batman Dates Catwoman issues. Go for the d**k Giordano stuff too. It all went downhill when kids entered the picture, but the rooftop dating has always been my favorite. It's a non-passive form of attraction without the boring dragging bits of Archie or the incredibly bizarre twists of Brenda Starr. I'd like to see more action oriented romance comics.

framing story needs work especially the ending but it is the source on everything you wanted to know about batman at the time
personally I would like to shove it into the face of anybody wanting to write a batman movie and say read this first and consider it your bible
